Bike Ride Birthday

Hi crafters. I am back with another of my cards from my Apertures Project in Crafts Beautiful Magazine. This time featuring a cute scene with cute critters having a bike ride...

For this card I used Neat & Tangled Better With Friends Stamp Set. I coloured all the images with Copics and die cut them with the coordinating dies. I created a simple blended background using Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Ink and die cut a circle from it using MFT Inside Out Stitched Circle Dies. I used my MFT Cloud Edges Stencil with a little Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink to create the cloud panel. I die cut card using Lawn Fawn Grass Edge Border Die and blended Twisted Citron & Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Inks on top. I used my Lawn Fawn Simple Road Border Die to create the road and added it onto a lightly blended panel of Antique Linen Distress Oxide Ink. I added some ink splats to that piece too. I added some stamped sentiments using Mama Elephant Wishes Enclosed Stamp Set & Dies. To finish I added a few clear bubble embellishments.

You Are Special

Hello crafty friends. I am back to share with you another of my Pop Up Box Cards from Making Cards Magazine. This time I created a sweet scene with those cute mice again! I just love their cute little faces...

For this card I used Lawn Fawn Berry Special Stamp Set. I coloured all the images with Copics and cut them out. I used the Lawn fawn Platform Pop Up & Platform Pop Up Add On Dies to create the box shape. I used my MFT Cloud Edges Stencil to create the clouds along with some Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Inks. I die cu the grass panels and coloured them with Mowed Lawn & Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Inks. I mounted patterned paper and added one onto each side of the box. I added a stamped sentiment to finish.

Berry Happy Birthday

Hello! I'm starting off the week by sharing another of my cards that features in Crafts Beautiful using apertures. This one has lots of little ones for a fun background and I created it into a summer card. Who doesn't love a strawberry and some cute mice!?...

For this card I used Lawn Fawn Berry Special & How You Bean Strawberries Add On Stamp Sets. I coloured them all with Copics and cut them out. I created a quick blended background using Salvaged Patina & Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Inks. I used my Mama Elephant Circular Grid Cover Die to create the circle apertures. I created the berry word using my Lawn Fawn Henry's ABCs and the added some stamped sentiments.

Bunnies Celebrate

Hi crafty friends. Today I have something colourful to share with you. It was made for a aperture project featured in Crafts Beautiful. I love this colour combo and love using my inks to create my own backgrounds...

For this card I used Reverse Confetti Better With Friends Stamp Set. I coloured the images with Copics and cut them out. I created the background using Tea Dye, Scattered Straw, Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo and Picked Raspberry Distress Inks. I used Mama Elephant Slim Card Basics to create the shape and apertures. I used my Lawn Fawn Bubbles Stencil with the inks to create the patterned background. To finish I added a couple of stamped sentiments from the MFT Itty Bitty Birthday Stamp Set.

Hay There

Good morning. I am back again, told you I had a few to share with you this week! Today card was featured in Making Cards Magazine and is one of my creations from my Pop Up Cards project...

How cute are those goats?! I love them! They are of course from Lawn Fawn from the You Got This Stamp Set. I coloured all the images with Copic Pens and cut them out. I used the Lawn Fawn Platform Pop Up Die to create the card box shape and added some mounted panels of patterned paper. I used my Lawn Fawn Build A Barn Die to create the cute house at the back. To finish I simply added some stamped setiment to the box front.

Gym Cuties

Good morning! It's a lovely sunny morning here in Dorset - let's hope it stays. Today I am sharing a quick card that I made using some of the latest releases from Clearly Besotted Stamps...

For this card I used Clearly Besotted Glym Plushies Stamp Set. I stamped the background piece directly onto card and coloured it in with Copics. I created a mask, added it onto the background and added Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink lightly to create a subtle sky effect. I stamped, coloured and cut out each of the animals and added them with foam pads. I added a stamped sentiment from my Honey Bee Birthday Stamp Set and a few gems to finish. A nice and simple one.

Pig Time Fun

Hi everyone! I hope you have been enjoying the glorious sunshine that we have been having - what a difference a couple of weeks makes! I have a summery card to share with you today featuring some of the latest releases from My Favorite Things...

Sorry for the rubbish picture, I will try and retake it and upload it soon! For this card I used My Favorite Things Pig Time Fun Stamp Set. I coloured all the images with Copics and cut them out. I created the background using my SugarPea Designs Sun Burst Stencil and some Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink. I then blended Mermaid Lagoon & Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide Inks onto two pieces of card then die cut them using an old MFT Waves Die. I then blended Tea Dye & Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide Inks onto two stips of card and die cut them with my hill dies from Time For Tea Slimline Hillside Scene Dies. I added some ink splatters to each of the pieces before assembling them onto the card. I added a strip of striped paper at the bottom and a stamped sentiment on top.

A Painters Birthday

Good morning crafty friends. I have been super busy behind the scenes so sorry for not posting much lately. Time just seems to go so fast right now! It was my hubbys birthday yesterday (he's a decorator) so I thought I would share his card I made. It was a very stressful time as for some reason I couldn't colour anything properly yesterday and had several attemps but here we go...

For this card I used one of the new release stamps sets from Clearly Besotted called Do It Yourself. I coloured all the images with Copics and cut them out. I created a subtle background using my MFT English Brick Stencil along with Mermaid Lagoon & Tea Dye Distress Oxide Inks. I added a stamped sentiment which is from the Lawn Fawn Berry Special Stamp Set. To finish added a few Clear Drop embellishments.

Birthday Wishes

Good morning! I am back with another card today that was from my Interlocking Gatefold Project that was in Crafts Beautiful. I used some more adorable stamps from Clearly Besotted...

 

For this card I used Clearly Besotted Whatever The Weather Fun Stamp Set. I coloured the images with Copic Pens and cut them out. I created the background panels using Distress Oxide Inks. I used my Lawn Fawn Simple Puffy Cloud Frames and Picket Fence Die which were both cut from white card. I used my Lawn Fawn Grassy Edges Dies to create the grass patches. I die cut mint card using my MFT A2 Rectangle Frames Dies to create the interlocking piece. I alos added a stamped sentiment which is from the MFT Little Birthday Notes Stamp Set.
