Squishy Hugs

Hi all :) 

I hope you are all well. So today I thought I would share another colourful card, this time it's rather pink! You may recognise this one as it was the main cover card on last months Crafts Beautiful Magazine...

That feeling of excitement of seeing my cards in print is still there too, it never gets old! I am just still grateful to have this opportunity. So i created this card using some simple printed digi papers. The topper is a Wee Friends one by The Hobby House. I also added a die cut banner, ribbon, felt flowers, a sentiment and gems to finish.

Hey Buddy

Hi all :) 

I hope you all had a lovely weekend and the sun is shinning where you are - it is here! Today I am sharing a boy card (I rarely make these!) that was recently in Crafts Beautiful Magazine...

For the main image of my card I used The Hobby House Toppers - Polly's Pals. I love these toppers they are perfect for cards an they are already coloured! I draw a border around the topper with a black pen to give it a frame. The papers are Crate Paper Cool Boy and I also added the Hey Buddy Sticker & My Boy embellishment from the same range. I threaded some twine though some buttons and glued them in place to finish.

Merry Christmas

Hi all, 

Today I am sharing one of my latest cards for My Mums Craft Shop using the stunning Hobby House Toppers. I love that they now do matching papers which coordinate with the toppers too...they are just beautiful....

I loved creating this card. I used the Cozy Christmas Toppers which I then distressed with some ink. The papers are the Vintage Christmas Set which we should have in stock soon. I mounted everything onto kraft card. The sentiment are some wooden embellishments i picked up at a show and I added some snow glitter to them. I also added various paper flowers, stems, berries & pearls onto the card. I also created a small rosette with a button from the papers too.

Today I am sharing a super quick card that was made for the Sketch Challenge in Quick Cards Made Easy....

For this simple card I used one of the cute toppers by The Hobby House. I also added some spotty paper from MFT, lace, ribbon, flowers and pearls.

Little Bo Peep

Hello :)

Hope you all had a great weekend, got to say it was lovely to walk to work in the sunshine today. Now we just need that chill to go and it will be a bit warmer! I am back with my final card from my Spring project in Crafts Beautiful Magazine....

So this card uses the same products as the other two - really shows you can create a lovely bundle of different cards using the same products. The topper is Sweet Meadow Wee Stamps Topper by The Hobby House. The papers are by Me To You and also some lace, ribbon, flowers and pearls.

Bunny on Branch

Sorry my post didn't come up yesterday but here it is now...

So it's Sunday a day of relaxing for some but not for me! I have a busy day ahead more unpacking, seeds to plant, shopping to do and cleaning but I might fit a bit of crafting in too maybe!? I am back with my second card from my Spring project that was in last months Crafts Beautiful Magazine...

 How cute is that lickle bunny? The toppers are The Hobby House Wee Stamps Sweet Meadow. The papers are Me To You Spring Papers and I added some flowers, ribbons and pearls.

Spring Meadow

Good Morning :)

I hope you are all having a lovely weekend so far, it's pretty dark outside at the moment but we are busy at work it's not too bad!  Today I have a brand new project to share with you. This one is from my usual monthly spot in Crafts Beautiful Magazine, a very Spring/Easter theme...

For this card I used The Hobby House Sweet Meadow Toppers - I just love these they are adorable and such lovely colours too. The papers are by Me To You and I also added some flowers, lace and ribbon.

Peace Christmas Fairy

Hello! I am back today to share with you my second card from my Christmas Fairies project that was featured in last months Making Cards Magazine. I so love these toppers, they are just the cutest...

I pretty much used the same products as yesterday they are The Hobby House Christmas Magic Toppers, Dovecraft Glad Tidings Paper Pack, Papermania Tiles, Sentiment, Ribbon and Pearls. I distressed all of the paper layers and topper using a Tim Holt edge distress tool but you can also use sandpaper or scissors to get a similar effect.

Noel Christmas Fairy

Hello I am back from the Christmas & New Year break. It's all back to normal routine now but bloody hell it's hard getting up in the morning! I hope you all had a lovely Christmas, I have really enjoyed having a few days off and spending some extra time with my family it's been fab! So onto some more cards, I still have a few Christmas ones to share so I will mix it up a bit over the next month. Up first is one of my projects that was in last months Making Cards Magazine...

 I am so loving The Hobby House Toppers at the moment and had a ball making this card. For this card I used the Dovecraft Glad Tidings Paper Pad. I distressed the edges of each of the layers and mounted each one onto kraft card. The toppers are called Christmas Magic. The tiles and sentiment are from Papermania and I also added some ribbon and dark red pearls to finish.

I am back with my third and final card from my Fairy project that was made for Crafts Beautiful. I am loving these fairies at the moment so look out for another project using them soon.

For this card I used The Hobby House Christmas Magic Toppers and paired it with some Dovecraft Papers called Glad Tidings. Everything was mounted onto green card. I also added some lace, ribbon, die cut sentiment and some pearls to finish.

Season's Greetings

Hello Peeps :)

Is it me or has this week gone really slowly? It seems to be dragging on but the weekend is finally here. I am so looking forward to my day on Sunday, final bits of xmas shopping to do, mostly food tho. So here is my second card from my Christmas Fairies project..

Today is the start of one of my Christmas projects that was recently in Crafts Beautiful Magazine. I really love The Hobby House Toppers and must get round to using them more. The designs are great and pre-coloured which is awesome for me as I'm always short of time lately.

For this card I used the Hobby House Christmas Magic Toppers and teamed them up with Dovecraft Glad Tidings Paper Pad which coordinates perfectly with these toppers. I mounted everything onto dark red card and added some lace, ribbon, pearls and a die cut sentiment.
