Farewell Wishes

Hi all :)
Today I am sharing a quick card that was made for Quick Cards Made Easy Magazine that was part of the Experts Q&A....
For this card I blended the background with my distress inks. I use the Die-namics Skyline to create the building and I die cut it again in white to create a shadow type effect. I printed out the sentiment on the pc and added some gems to finish.

I will be back soon :)

Roarrr!!

Hello and sorry for the lack of posts this week. As you are probably thinking 'she must be busy'! Ohh yes, I've had so many deadlines this week and also my eldest off for half term so my feet have barely touched the ground. I thought I would share another card from my 'Cool Kid' cards that were recently in Quick Cards Made Easy Magazine...
For this card I used the Crate Paper Cool Kid Collection. I used the 12x12 papers, chipboards,  star embellishments, enamel stickers and wooden embellishments. It's a fab range with so many coordinating embellishments it's tricky to know what to use! I love all the cute dinosaurs in this range.

I will be back with more creations soon :)
Don't forget the latest new edition of Making Cards Magazine is out today. It comes with free papers, a cd rom and stamps - oh and I've got three projects in there!

Winter Penguin

Hi all :)
Today I am back with another card from last months Making Cards Magazine. This quick creation was made using the freebie toppers and papers that came with the mag...
How cute are these ickle penguins - just love them! Although they are dressed for winter they aren't just for Christmas. You can use them for winter birthdays, thank you cards - pretty much anything really! I also used a heart embossing folder, some dew drops and some stitched dies.

I will be back with more cards soon :)

Valentines Rose

Hi all :)
Sorry my posts have been so late recently - it's literally such a busy time at the moment. Deadlines galore, work coming out my ears (not complaining tho) and half terms with the kiddies too. Today we went to Bournemouth it was a lovely day and weather was pretty good too. So I thought I would share my Valentine's card I made for my other half, it was based around a sentiment I saw which is a running joke we have between us...
I kept it pretty simple as I left it to the last minute and well blokes seem to like the clean and simple look. The background was an old MFT Die called XOXO Cover Up. The flowers are Altenew Bamboo Rose Stamps which I coloured with my Copics. I printed the sentiments and added some pearls to finish.

I will be back soon with more creations :)

Just popping by to share another card I have made recently. This one is perfect for Valentine's Day but also great for anniversaries along with any occasion for loved ones. I love these uber cute sheep!
For this card I used the Ewe Are The Best Stamps by My Favorite Things. I coloured my stamps with my beloved Copic Pens. The fence, stitched circle and grass are both Die-namics Dies. I blended inks for the background scene. The paperI think is from a Lawn Fawn Paper Pad. I also added some Enamel Dots to finish.

The sentiment stamps are also by LOTV called Sentiment Tags. The papers I used are from an old LOTV paper pad but you may be able to still get these at Nitwits. The flowers are a die by Sue Wilson Dies and I added some pearls and a doily.

Happy Birthday Gift Bag

Hello all,
Sorry I didn't make it back yesterday but I am here now! Today I am sharing a quick gift bag that was made for Paper Crafter Magazine...
For this I used the free papers that came with the magazine which I believe are by Docrafts. The bag is a plain kraft bag that I picked up in The Range - they are ideal for decorating. I created the bow using the Dainty Bow Die-namics and I added a die cut sentiment along with a doily.

I will be back tomorrow :)

Gone Fishing

Hi all,
Today I am sharing a card I made using some of the new Simply Print images from LOTV - yes as you may have noticed, I LOVE them!
Quite a funny story really but Ross told me his dad was coming round in 2 hours as it was his birthday and could I make a card. So I found some bits together and after dinner started making it. Then 5 minutes later his dad turned up - super early so I had to literally make a quick card whilst he was still in house, lol! So this is what I created, which wasn't too bad considering the mad panic! The image is Gone Fishing, I changed the colour of the image to green so it matched my papers. The papers are from an old paper pad and everything was mounted onto kraft card. I added some burlap, ribbon and twine. I punched the stars and added card candi along with a sentiment.

I will be back tomorrow :)

Swing By Anytime

Hi everyone :)
Today I am sharing one of my cards that was made for last months issue of Making Cards Magazine. I got to play with some stamps from one of my favourite stamp companies...Clearly Besotted Stamps...
These are super fun quick makes which I think really show off the stamps. The stamps are called Cheeky Monkey and should be available from Clearly Besotted when they re-open in April. I used some bright papers from Lawn Fawn and I use a frame die by Die-namics. I coloured my monkey with Copics and carefully cut around all the pieces. To finish I added some twine.

I will be back tomorrow :)

Watching The World Go By

Hello all :)
Today I am sharing a card that was made for Quick Cards Made Easy so the Subs Extra bit. I was asked to create two cards using some new Tattered Lace Dies, so here is card one...
As you may know I am not usually a fan of Tattered Lace Dies but I quite enjoyed using these ones and pleased how they turned out in the end. For this card I used the Tattered Lace Die - Watching The World Go By. I die cut this from various pieces of coloured card and assembled all the pieces to create the image. The papers I used are by Wild Rose Studio called Poets Kitchen - they are beautiful! I also added some lace, ribbon, flower, die cut sentiment and gems.

I will be back soon :)
