Modern Christmas

 Hi all,

Sorry I haven't been around for a little while. Today I am sharing a few cards that were made for Make Cards Today Magazine...

Both these cards and were made using the free papers and toppers that came with the magazine. I loved creating these simple makes as the papers are lovely and bright and using a more modern colour palette for Christmas. I added some pearls, gems & ribbon.

Forever Love

Hi all :)

Today I am sharing another colourful creation. This time this one was made for Make Cards Today Magazine. 

This type of card is called Cascade and to be honest I hadn't made any this style before, but once I got my head round a template it was easy! They are so much fun to decorate too. I used the free papers that came with the magazine to create this card - this also includes all the toppers and tags which coordinate perfectly! All I added was some ribbon.

Birthday Owls

Hi all :)

Today I am sharing my second card that was made for Make Cards Today. I completely forgot to share this until now so apologies for that, but here it is...

This was made using the free papers and toppers that came with the magazine. The style of card is called a Bendy Card - so technical eh!? They are actually really easy to make and look lovely in person. All I added to this card was some white card and some enamel dots.

Little One

Hi all :)

Today I am back to share a card that was made for Make Cards Today Magazine. I was asked to create two Bendy Cards, I had not made this shape card so I always love a challenge! Here is card one...

The papers and toppers came with the magazine and are called Little Owl Dreams - how cute are they!? All I added was some white card for the shape card. I will try and find a link to the tutorial for this shape card.

You're Out Of This World

Today I am sharing my second card from my Shaker Card Project that was made for Make Cards Today Magazine...

I have to admit I do love creating shaker cards! The papers and toppers were all included in with the magazine. All I added was a stitched kraft frame, some acetate and sequins - simples!

Today I am sharing a card I made for Make Cards Today Magazine. I was asked to create two shaker cards using the cute freebie toppers and papers. Here is card number one...

How cute are these little space ships and astronauts? I mounted all the papers onto kraft card. The circle is a pierced circle frame from Die-namics Dies. I added a window using acetate and filled it sequins. I added all the elements using foam pads to make it 3d.
