Nutty Together

Hello,
It's half term this week so I am not sure I will be able to post as often but I will try. I do love half terms as I get to spend some extra quality time with Jasmine and do lots of fun things together. We are off to the cinema today and off on an adventure later in the week. Here is today's card featuring some more cute images from MFT Stamps...
I kept this one simple as I just wanted the super cute squirrel to be the main focus - look at his ickle face! These stamps are the Squirrels Set from MFT Stamps. I coloured them with Copics and cut them out. The sentiment is also from the same set. I created the background using an MFT Sunray Stencil along with some Distress Oxide Ink in Shabby Shutters. Mounted it onto a Scallop Frame Die and added some striped paper to make it pop. To finish I added some pearls.

Supplies;
MFT Stamps - Squirrel!
MFT Dies - Stitched Scallop Rectangles
Distress Oxide Inks - Shabby Shutters
MFT Paper Pad - Black and White Stripes
Copic Pens
Kraft Card

I will be back soon :)

Christmas Hoops

Christmas seems to be creeping up on us fast. I've already spotted so many Christmas items in the shops. Luckily for me, I love Christmas! I love creating Christmas cards and decorations so it's definitely my favourite time of year. I'm sharing today a couple of decorative wreaths that I made...
I used some wooden embroidery hoops to create the shape. I then wrapped twine all around each one. I used a mixture of items from Ross Paper, Anna Marie Designs, The Range and The Works. I wrapped wreath borders around the inside of the hoop. I decorated the edges with snow topped branches, glitter stems and Berries. I added some wooden stars, a bow and some string mini bells. I had so much fun creating these, I will be definitely making some more wreaths.

Disney In Nature

 Today I am sharing a couple of cards that I made using one of the latest Disney Kits from Create & Craft. I was so happy that they decided to do this range as it had various characters in rather than just based on one character - I hope they do more like this...
For both these cards I used Disney Be In Nature Collection. I used the Papers, Dies and Colourful Creations Pad from this new collection. I love the sort of sketchy way these have been designed. I mounted everything onto light kraft card. I added some ribbon, lace,  die cut border and pearls.

Supplies;
Create & Craft Disney Be In Nature - A4 Paper Pack, Thumper Die, Simba and Nala Die
M&C Dies - Borders

Hummingbirds

Hi all,
Today I am sharing something a bit different. I have loved Anna Marie Designs products for many years and I have quite a collection of her products. I don't often get the chance to play with them as much as I'd like to but this week I set aside some time to create a card with them. This is one heavy embellished card, maybe I should put it into a frame instead...
So I used lots of products on this card mostly from Anna Marie Designs. All the papers and images are from the Garden Bloom Lilac Paper Pad. I cut out some of the flowers and hummingbirds from the background papers so it all coordinated. I also used the Garden Bloom Post Cards & Tags. I distressed all the papers using my Tim Holtz Tonic Distress Tool and dabbed around the edges with some white paint. I used the Anna Marie Designs Bloom Flower Die to create the flowers and I added some pearls to the centres. I added some Nuvo Glitter onto painted mdf letters. I added some lace, ribbon with jewels, white lace material and natural fiber.

Supplies;
Anna Marie Designs Paper Pad - Garden Bloom Lilac
