Miss You

Good morning crafty friends. So sorry I have been MIA for a little while. My health hasn't been too good so crafting had to take a back seat. I have been shopping for new products though so I have lots to create with! First up a rainbow butterly card, I have been after this set for ages so I'm so glad I finally got my hands on it...

For this card I used the Taylored Expressions Butterflies Stamp & Stencil Combo. Firstly I stamped the butterfly body with black ink. I used my Distress Oxide Inks to create the blended background. The colours I used were Kitsch Flamingo, Dried Marigold, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron & Salvaged Patina. I added a strip of striped card along with thin strips of black card at the top & bottom. I used my Concord & 9th Big On You Stamp Set to create the big Miss You sentiment and smaller strip then used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

Supplies:
Taylored Expressions Stamp & Stencil Combo - Butterflies
Concord & 9th Stamps & Dies - Big On You
Distress Oxide Inks - Kitsch Flamingo, Dried Marigold, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Salvaged Patina

Smile, You Got This!

Hello crafty friends. It's Thursday and time for my usual DT post for Time For Tea Designs. Today I am sharing a card using some of the new releases, including one of my favourite stamp sets...

How cute are these snails?! I just love them! They are such a great size too and perfect for scenes. This set is called You've Got Mail. I coloured all the images with Copics and die cut them with the You've Got Mail Co-ordinating Dies. I used the Scattered Raindrops Stencil with a little white ink to create the background on kraft card. I made a little window using the smallest frame from the Smile Inverted Scallop Frames Dies. I popped it onto foam pads and placed some cloud paper from the Brighter Days Paper Pad behind the frame. I also added a strip of spotty paper also from the same paper pad. I die cut the smile word from black card and added a sentiment from the Brighter Days Printed Sentiments. To finish I added a couple of Clear Drops.

Splashy Hello

Morning crafty friends. There seems to be lots of new crafty releases at the moment which I love as it always means new things to play with so hopefully I will get my hands on some new sets soon! Today I am sharing a fun easy card that was made with an older set from Avery Elle. I do love their stamps, especially these cuties...

This one was made as part of my Distress Inky Backgrounds project that featured in Crafts Beautiful.  The stamps I used are Avery Elle Celebraytion Stamps. I coloured each of the images with Copic Pens and then cut them out. I created the background by adding a little distress ink onto some acetate and then spritzing it with water. I placed it directly onto my paper then heated it dry. I repeated the process until I had the background I wanted. The colours I used are Mermaid Lagoon, Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink. I used my MFT Hello Die-namics Die to create the layered sentiment. I finished by added a few pearls.
