A Year Of Creations

Hello i am back today to show you my top cards and creations that i have made over the past year!
The last six months have been super busy for me as i have luckily been on various new design teams and i have also been designing for several magazines.
But here are my fav creations from each month...

I hope you have enjoyed looking back at all my creations. It's funny seeing how my style has changed over the last 12 months etc.

This year has of course been fantastic craft wise. I completed the Copic Certification Course. I went to the most craft shows ever i think in total it was 9, madness! I managed to get on 7 new design teams including two guest designer spots. I now design regulary for Making Cards Magazine and Crafts Beautiful Magazine - seeing your work in print is the best thing ever. My creations have also been on create & craft several times on Polkadoodles & Studio 12 Shows.

So here's to 2013 being even busiest with lots of new craft products & ideas :)

Top Products of 2012

My Top Crafts Products Of 2012

I always mean to do this but every year i forget but woohoo not this year!
So i thought i would share some of my most favourite products i have bought and used throughout the year!

Stamps - There have been sooo many stamp releases this year and majority i have loved! I think charactor wise my favourites have been the A La Mode's by MFT. I have quite a few in my collection now and i just love them.

Dies - Dies seem to have been the biggest trend of 2012 with more and more companies emerging or adding dies to there ranges. I think my favourite dies have to be Dienamics. I think over 60 odd now last time i checked. Every release there DT do an amazing job and make me want them all. I also love quite a lot of the Memory Box Dies that have come out..the Halloween & Christmas ones in particular.

Papers - This one is easy for me, Echo Park and My Minds Eye every time! Pretty much every single 6x6 pad they bring out is a must have for me. I used patterned papers on like 99% of my cards so i always need new ones - that's my excuse anyway!

Embellishments - I seem to have been using flowers a lot less this year but instead i have been using a lot more Twine & Buttons. I have used loads of rhinestones and pearls on most of my projects as i think they add a finishing touch so i will be using more of those in 2013 for sure!

Goals & Plans 2013

I am so looking forward to seeing all the CHA sneak peaks and releases and then going to the NEC Trade Show in feb. I love seeing what is coming out it's so exciting!

I am planning to do more of my Smash Book and maybe get on with my project life book but we will see how time pans out on that. I am hoping to do more magazine work and freelance work, it's so much fun and you can never beat seeing your creations in print, it's a wonderful feeling of achievement. I am planning to build up my Copic collection by buying one or two a week so i can practice my colouring and follow more tutorials.

That's it for me today..but i will be back soon :)
Hope you have enjoyed reading!

Bella Winter Wishes

Welcome to my last post for Sketch Saturday, i have LOVED every minute of being there Guest Designer for the month - even tho December was a bit manic for me it's always great to be part of a very popular & succesful challenge team, so thanks girls for having me! This week we have another fabulous sketch for you and here is my take on it....
As you can see i am still getting those 'Winter' creations in ;) Well i have so much winter & christmas stash lurking here i thought i need to make room for all the stuff that is bound to appear from CHA!
So i used Wild Rose Studio Papers & Wild Rose Studio Toppers - both Xmas Bella, aren't they super cute! I also used the latest flower set from MFT, the Dienamics Winter Rose Die. I used my fav die the Fancy Flourish behind it and added a rhinestone to the centre. I also made the white bits of there hats all glittery but the picture doesn't show that too well.

Hope you enjoyed my card and thank you for all your comments all year long they always pick me up, make me smile and give me the encouragement to carry on!

Here's to 2013!

I decided to use one of my favourite images Celeste Amberglow Owl Always Love You. Isn't she just super cute! I created a sentiment to match and printed it out. The papers are my fav range of the moment... Carta Bella Devoted. I decided to bling it up a bit with lots of rhinestones and pearls and some lovely white satin ribbon.

Wild Meadow

Today i have another simple scenic card to share with you :)
I bought some lovely Indigoblu Stamps a while back but haven't had much time to play with them as i have had soo much work on but i did manage to create this quickie...
I created the background using some pale Pan Pastels. I then simply stamped over this background with the Indigoblu Wild Meadow Stamps. I used Versafine so the detail showed up better and wow doesn't it just :)

Great news My Mum's Craft Shop are going to be stocking these beauties next year yay, so look out for lots more ideas using these lovely stamps.

I couldn't wait to get it inked up and here is my first creation with it...
I coloured her with Copics, did a bit of paper piercing and used the fabulous new Carta Bella Devoted Paper Pad. I love this new paper and i deffo need to get another pad as it's lush and not just for valentines really, lovely colour combo. The twine & polkadot button are from The Ribbon Girl.

Make A Wish

Today i have something i made for My Mum's Craft Shop.
This was quite a simple card and pretty easy to create. I am quite liking creating scenes with stamps at the moment and boy are they quicker than colouring charactors!
This card features stamps by the fabulous Inkylicious Stamps.
I created the background using some inks, i think they were Memeno Dew Drops but any inks will work for this. The dandelion stamps are called Make A Wish and are a totall bargain as only £3.49 for the stamp set. It is actually one of our most popular stamp sets but if it is out of stock don't worry it won't be long before it is back in stock again. We are going to be having a big Inkylicious delivery soon.

Catch you all soon :)

Here Comes Santa

Hello Peeps!!
Woohoo December is here, although i hate the weather i LOVE Christmas!!
I am sooo looking forward to Santa visiting the Frampton/Hawkins household and with that thought in mind i thought i would share my latest creation using my new Inkylicious Stamps.
I am quite into scenic stamps and creating backgrounds at the moment, just wish there were more hours in the day so i could get inky more often as it's soooo much fun. I created the background with just two Memento Dew Drops using my Dreamweaver Brushes - they are super easy to use!! I only used two Inkylicious Stamps on this card, Santa's Sleigh (which also has the sentiment) and Silhouette Town. This was quite quick to make especially when compared to colouring charactors etc. I am quite liking the simple look as they say sometimes less is more.

Hope you like my creation today :)

3D Bobbin Card

Hello and happy Sunday!!
Hope you are all having a relaxing time, i am crafting the day away!
Here is my latest creation for Studio 12 at Polkadoodles
I thought it would be nice and a bit different for me to create a different shapes card cos let's face it working on squares is easier but sometimes a bit boring!
All the elements i used are from the All Sewn Up Collection On Picknix CD 1. I enlarged the Handmade bobbin as a base and turned it into a card blank. I arranged all the elements before printing but also printed another layer to make them all 3d. I added a bit of lace and ribbon from my stash to create the skirt on the mannequin. I also distressed all the edges of the card using Tea Dye Distress Ink.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges...

OSAAT - Fabric, Ribbon or Lace
Totally Gorjuss - Don't Be Square

As i am loving winter scenes and penguins here is what i came up with...
The background paper & all the images are from the Here Comes Christmas CD. The sentiment was printed directly onto the paper then i had to cut them all out all the images so i could layer them.
The snowflakes are the Cheery Lynn Snowflake Die, which is fabulous as it has so many different shapes & sizes of snowflake - perfect for creating a scene. I also added lots of Stickles Glitter to the trees and snow.

Come on over to the Polka Doodles Blog to see the rest of the design team's creations and to enter this week's challenge!

Fairy ATC's

Hello, here is my usual post for Vilda Stamps.
Today i have some ATC’s to show you, three infact that all coordinate together perfect for trading or swaps. Please accept my apologies for the poor photo’s, it has been so dark here it’s been impossible to take good photos.

So i used loads of gorgeous Vilda Stamps, they are so perfect for getting all inky. I started out
by inking the background with distress inks. I then stamped it with Letter Context. I then distressed the edges of each ATC.

For the first  and last one i used the lovely Fairy Silhouettes, simple yet so stunning. I also used the Twigs Kit for all the bits around the edge, these are perfect for building little scenes. For the middle one i used the Victorian Collage stamp and teamed this up with some cogs from the Coggwheel Kit.

I have been itching to get my hands on these for a while and they are soooo cute who wouldn't want them. I love wee stamps but these are perfect if you don't have time to colour or just fancy a change.
So i used Holly Time Toppers and the papers are the brand new Echo Park Winter Wishes. I also used a Pearl Swirl and added some flowers & more pearls of course! If you haven't got this pad yet you deffo need to get it, perfect for not just Christmas but winter birthdays and cards too.. it's gorgeous and a must have i reckon :)

Catch you all soon :)

Visible Image - Immortal Love

Woohoo today is finally.. of course it's time for new releases over at Visible Image!
There are 3 brand new stamp sets available today Immortal Love, Free Your Imagination & Beauty Is Art. Each set is packed full of lovely clear stamps and is such fabulous value.
All the design team have come up with fabulous ideas using these stamps which you will get to see each day over the next few weeks, so be prepared to be inspirated and keep an eye on the Visible Image Blog. Here is my first creation....
For this card i used the Immortal Love Stamp Set. I created some masks using some temporary sticky paper..although you could use post it notes too. I had to make 5 masks using the smaller rose to complete the background. It did take a little while to complete but i got there in the end and once you get going it is really easy to do. I then stamped out the large rose 3 times and coloured with copics.
I then decoupaged the rose and made it 3d using foam pads. To finish i stamped the Love sentiment on a strip of paper and added it across the bottom of the card. A simple yet effect card made easy.

Don't forget Visible Image have a new Facebook Group we would love it if you could come over and join us, lots of inspiration, sneak peaks, offers and more.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges...

Catch The Bug - Anything Goes
Anything Goes - Anything Goes
The Paper Shelter - Anything Goes
Stampin For The Weekend - Anything Goes
Make It Monday
