Cherry On Top

Hello friends, it's Thursday and time for my weekly Time For Tea DT post. It's release day at Time For Tea Designs and it's packed full of cute new products!  Here is my first creation using some of the new releases, I had to create a shaker card of course!!

I started off by creating by background first. I blended Peacock Feathers & Twisted Citron Distress Inks into a smooth blend. I stamped the confetti from the Hello Cupcake Stamp Set randomly onto the blue part to add a little detail to the background. I used the Sundae Sweeties Stamp Set for the images and sentiment. I coloured them with Copics then used the Sundae Sweeties Die Set to cut them out. I created my shaker frame using the Smile Inverted Scallop Frame Dies. I added my acetate and sequins then used a piece of patterned paper from the Sweet Summer Paper Pad at the back of the panel. I assembled everything onto the card, attaching the images with foam pads to make them pop!

Supplies;
Time For Tea Stamps - Sundae Sweeties, Hello Cupcake
Time For Tea Dies - Sundae Sweeties, Smile Inverted Scallop Frames

Thankful Pandas

Hello! I'm back with my final GDT card for July for SugarPea Designs. For this card I decided to go with a clean and simple style to show off the super cute images.

I started off by gently blending some green distress inks onto the left side of the card. I then placed the Laurel Leaves Stencil over the top and brushed through some green ink. I added a few water spots with a paintbrush and blotted off the excess. I cut three pieces of card into thin fishtail strips. I doodled some stripes on one of the pieces to create a faux patterned paper. I then glued them on top of each other on the card. I used the Pandamonium Stamp Set to create the cute pandas and flowers. I stamped then coloured each of the images with copic pens and cut them out. I attached them all onto the card with foam pads. To finish I simply stamped a sentiment from the same stamp set and fixed it in place on the card.

Supplies;
SugarPea Stamp Sets - Pandamonium
SugarPea Stencils - Laurel Leaves
Distress Oxide Inks - Mowed Law, Twisted Citron
Copic Markers

So that's the end of my GDT for July. I have loved being part of the team and having such amazing products to work with. It's really been an honour! Thank you once again to all the team at SugarPea for having me, it's been a blast!

Hogs & Kisses

Hello crafty peeps! It's time for my usual weekly post for Time For Tea Designs. It's been insanely hot in my craft room this week so I tried to cool down by making a raining card (mad I know!). Just love these cute piggies...

For this card I used Time For Tea Hogs & Kisses Stamp Set. I coloured my image with Copics and fussy cut him out. I created the background using my Cracked Pistachio & Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Inks. I then used the Scattered Raindrops Stencil and gently blended the inks over the top. I added a layered strip of card to the left side. I used Slimline Postage Stamp Frame Dies to create the postage square and added a little ink over the top. The spotty paper is actually a little sneak peek at one of the new papers in the next release...so keeps your eyes peeled for that! I heat embossed my sentiment onto black card and added some clear bubbles to finish.

Supplies;
Time For Tea Designs Stamps - Hogs & Kisses
Time For Tea Designs Dies - Slimline Postage Stamp Frames

Birthday Safari

Good morning crafty friends. I haven't had much chance to play with some of my new products so I do have lots of try out now which will keep me busy over the summer! As soon as I saw this MFT Stamp set I knew I had to have it, I just love that sneaky crocodile...

This card features the MFT Summer Safari Stamp Set. I coloured each of the images with Copics and cut them out. I have seen lots of cards using this colour blend so I just had to try it out. I used Distress Oxide Ink in Kitsch Flamingo, Spun Sugar, Fossilized Amber & Squeezed Lemonade colours. One of my cards also features this blend next week so look out for that. I added a little subtle water splatter to the background. I stamped the MFT Happy Birthday Stamp directly onto the panel. I die cut a small piece of kraft card using my Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Dies and added a little Gathered Twigs Distress Ink. I placed this at the bottom of the panel and added all my images with foam pads, trimming off the excess. I added some clear bubble embellishments and mounted it onto a card blank.

Supplies;
My Favorite Things Stamps - Summer Safari, Happy Birthday
Lawn Fawn Dies - Stitched Hillside Borders
Distress Oxide Inks - Kitsch Flamingo, Spun Sugar, Fossilized Amber, Squeezed Lemonade, Gathered Twigs
Clear Bubbles

I'd also like to enter the Sketch Challenge (550) at MFT with this card.

Thank you for stopping by today. I will be back next week with more creations.
Enjoy the summer sun (finally!).

Bee Friends

Hello crafty friends, a new start to a new week and I have some exciting news. I'm thrilled to be joining SugarPeaDesigns as the Guest Designer for July. I've always loved SugarPea Designs so this really is an honour to be able to create for them!

For my first project I decided to create a sweet summer scene. I started by creating my background first. I used the Outdoor Scene Builder Stencil to create the clouds blending with a little oxide ink. I then created some blended green hills using oxide ink and the same stencil. I die cut the fence from white card using the Picket Fence Die and glued it in place. I layered the completed background onto lilac card and mounted it onto a white card base with foam tape. I die cut the thanks word from lilac and white card using the Thanks Word Die. I layered the pieces together and attached in place with foam pads. I used the Hey Spring Stamp Set (totally one of my favourite sets!) and stamped all the images in memento black ink. I coloured in each of the images with copic pens and fussy cut them out. I arranged them in place on the card and attached them with foam pads. To finish I stamped the sentiment (from the same stamp set) using lilac ink and fixed it onto the card with foam pads.

Supplies;
SugarPea Designs Stamps - Hey Spring
SugarPea Designs Dies - Thanks Word, Picket Fence
SugarPea Designs Stencils - Outdoor Scene Builder
Distress Oxide Inks - Mermaid Lagoon, Mowed Lawn, Twisted Citron

I hope you have enjoyed my creation and that it inspires you to create your own cute summer scenes. Big thank you to Wendy and the team for having me Guest Design. I will be back with more inspiration next Monday.
