The rainbow and clouds were created using Lawn Fawn Stitched Rainbow Die Set. I added a coordinating stamped sentiment which is also from the same stamp set. I added a strip of stripe paper at the bottom and added some raindrop embellishments to finish.

Sending A Smile

Hi all,
Today I am sharing a colourful card that I made this week. I have been trying out some new styles of cards to broaden my skills and here is one of them using my favourite colour palette of the moment...
For this card I created the background using Mermaid Lagoon, Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Inks and blended them together. Next I went over the top with a stencil using the same colours adding more pressure to get a darker colour. I then used my Altenew Simple Beauty Stamped Set and stamped each of the sketched flower in the two corners. I used my MFT Die-namics Die for the Smile word. I cut this out several times and layered it together.. I added a heat embossed sentiment using the MFT Stamps Smile Maker Stamp Set. I added a couple of strips of striped paper to balance out the black and white. I finished by adding some gems and jewels. I had so much fun making these backgrounds so watch this space for more! Ps - sorry this picture is a bit blurry my camera doesn't want to play ball at the moment.

Supplies;
Altenew Stamps - Simple Beauty
MFT Stamps - Smile Maker
MFT Dies - Smile
Distress Oxide Inks - Mermaid Lagoon, Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio
Lucy's Little Things - Gems & Pearls

Friend Like No Other

Hi all,
I'm back, two days in a row check me out! I have been creating behind the scenes to keep me busy so I have a few extra cards to share with you. Today I am sharing a clean and simple floral card using the spotlight stamping technique...

For this card I used Altenew Simple Beauty Stamp Set. It's such a fab set and I really must add some more Altenew Stamps to my collection. I stamped all over the background with the outline stamp. I stamped my main flower in the corner and used the layering stamps in the set to create the pink flower. I added a sentiment sticker from a Jen Hadfield sticker sheet. I added some striped paper and a strip of black card to the side. I finished by added some pearls.

Supplies;

Birthday Bear Friends

It's a dark and gloomy day here today, it's strange having the lights on in my craft room after having gorgeous sunshine for so long! Today I am sharing a card that I made for my husband's birthday which was on Tuesday. I had so much the few days before so I had to make it a quick one!
I used Avery Elle Beary Good Friends Stamp set for the images. I coloured them with copics and cut them out. I recently got some Liquid Watercolours by Pinkfresh Studio to try out and I created a quick wash background on this card using them. I need to play a bit more with them but so far I love them, they create a lovely smooth brush stroke effect. I used a MFT Wonky Stitched Rectangle to die cut the background panel. I added a pre printed sentiment sticker and added a enamel dot. To finish I added some clear raindrops.

Supplies;
Avery Elle Stamps - Beary Good Friends
Pinkfresh Studio Liquid Watercolours
MFT Die-namics Dies - Wonky Stitched Rectangles
Copic Markers
Sentiment Sticker
Enamel Dots
Clear Raindrops

I will be back with more creations very soon.
