Birthday Party Bus

I have been playing around with the photography side of things today. I have been struggling to get good lighting for my cards it's either too bright or dark so I have been testing a few things out. Today I am sharing a fun card (testing my new photo style) that I made last night using a super cute image from Avery Elle...
 My husband and I were talking about vintage children's tv programmes and we both suddenly remembers Richard Scarry's Busytown. I instantly wanted to create a cute animal town scene and remembered I had some ready coloured images. I used Avery Elle Birthday Bus Stamp Set which was coloured with Copics and cut out. I created the background using Distress Oxide Mermaid Lagoon Ink. I used MFT Stitched Cloud Edges Dies for the clouds and also the grass hedges. I blended Mowed Lawn & Twisted Citron Distress Inks to create a bush/hedge. I used Lawn Fawn Road Die to create the road. The buildings were created with MFT Skyline Die. I die cut the smile word using MFT Smile Die several times to create a layered sentiment. I used glitter card for the top layer and coloured it to change it to a pink colour. The bottom sentiment is from the MFT Smile Maker Stamp Set.

Supplies;
Avery Elle Stamps - Birthday Bus
MFT Dies - Skyline Border, Stitched Cloud Edges, Smile
Lawn Fawn Dies - Simple Road

Anteater Birthday

It's another lovely and sunny day here today. I am finding that it's almost too bright to take decent photos of my cards at the moment - particularly if they have a lot of white on them. Sorry for the not great photo, but hopefully you can still see the design it's a clean and simple one...
For this card I used some super cute stamps from last months release at Clearly Besotted. How cute are those anteaters? They are from the Anteater Antics Stamp Set. The flowers are a border from the Garden Plushies Stamp Set. I coloured them all with Copic Pens and cut them out. I gently blended some Distress Oxide Ink in Twisted Citron and Tumbled Glass colours. The sentiment which is also by Clearly Besotted is from the Says It All Again Stamp Set.

I will be back very soon :)
Stay safe and well.

Bee Safe, Stay Home

What a lovely sunny day today! I have some bright and cheerful cards to share too. I am loving all the 'Corona' themed images that so many companies are doing at the moment. Clearly Besotted have released a few free digi's so I decided to create some cards using them that I could send to friends to brighten their day whilst in lock down...
How cute are these bees! I love the fabulous sentiment it's just perfect! For these cards I simply printed out the Clearly Besotted Digi Stamp and coloured it with my Copics then die cut with a MFT Stitched Die. I mounted it onto yellow card and onto a card blank. I added some Clear Dew drops to finish. My next plan is to create some cards for Key Workers, I have some friends that are Doctors and Nurses that work in the hospital here. I thought it would be nice for them to know we are thinking of them.
