More Journal Pages

I am still loving the whole art journaling thing, it's just too much fun that you can't help but love it!
I had a demo on Saturday and here are two journaling page examples i came up with :)
Both of these were made showcasing the new Creative Expressions Stamps by Sam Poole.
I love them all so far and can't stop playing with them. I hope to show you some stylish cards using these soon too. The backgrounds were both made using Dylusions Sprays (these are on the way now), Dylusions Stencils (also coming soon!) and Tando Creative Masks.

These really are so much fun to make and you can just do what you feel, a brilliant way to express your feelings... they give you such a sense of acheivement when you finish a page too!

I will be back tomorrow with a card :)

Birthday Bunting

Well i did have a card ready to post last night but i went out for a meal last night and it got a bit late when i remembered about it so here it is - better late than never as the saying goes lol....
I finally have been inking up my lovely Saturated Canary images :)
I have quite a few of these and luckily i picked up a few when Krista had her Etsy sale too.
I coloured her with my Copics, used lots of different colour combinations but well pleased with how it came out, did take a while tho! The papers i used are Cosmo Cricket. I also added a Magnolia Flourish, some Cherry Blossoms, Card Candi & a Sentiment.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges....

My First Ever Journaling Page

As you probably know i have recently discovered an inky mess side of crafting to me and i love it :)
So i thought it was about time i started Art Journaling! I have always loved this style and i have spent most of the week looking at everyone elses work in pure amazement!
So here is my first ever art journal page...
I am quite pleased with how it came out but i know i have to work on being a bit more messy - but this is a totally new thing to me so i am sure i will get the hang of it a bit more soon! Just means i NEED more new stash for it, lol and oh what perfect timing with my bday next week :D

So here i used lots of ink sprays i think they were Sprinkys from Inkylicious which we will have soon at MMCS. The stamps were mostly all from one set, the new UMount Butterfly Girl Set. The sentiments were from two sets Art Sayings & Artful Phrases.
I also used some Dylusions Stencils, White Paint, Versafine Ink, Copics & Gel Pens.

Anyway let me know what you think, but be gentle i am a newbie :)

Back later with a card, Kitty xx

London Calling....

Here is a card i made using inspiration from one of the latest Craft Stamper Magazines!
I did the background completely differently though. Rather than using distress inks like in the mag i used some Ink Misters, if you look carefully you can see the union jack in the background - for this i used a Tando Creative Union Jack Mask - i love how this turned out!
All the London Stamps are by Darkroom Door - so loving this set at the moment!

Creative Inspirations - Anything Goes

I will be back tomorrow with another card :) Now i am off to watch Towie, lol!

I loved demoing Dienamics & MFT Stamps today and here is one of my creations from today!

I had to keep it quite simple as i was meant to be demoing and i did have limited supplies with me!

The London Line Cards

As i am sure you are well aware by now i love everything London at the moment so you can imagine how excited i was when i saw the London Line was available! I thought it was a bit different to the usual London stuff as it was very cute with ickle animals! I only had the paper pack, decoupage pad & a dash of ribbon but i managed to create these two in no time at all :)
Both of the design layouts are very simple but it has to be that way as the decoupage pictures are quite large - especially considering these cards are 6x6 in size, still love them though :)

I will be back tomorrow with more creations, if i remember to add them to my blog, naughty me keeps forgetting!!

Poppies.. again but different ones!

Today i have a lil preview of some more stuff that is expected over at MMCS very soon!
By popular request we now have Hobby Art Stamps on the way and expected in anyday now :)
Here is a few cards made with some of the Poppies Stamps.
They are really simple cards, just stamped then coloured with Copics. I used R29, R27 & YG63. I then used some 3D glue over the top of the red poppies to make them a bit more 3D and they have a lovely shiny effect.

Delicate Blossoms

Sorry it has been a while since i posted, i have been very busy making quite a lot of different sorts of cards, but i keep forgetting to take photos & add them on here, oopsy!! Well now the sun is shining maybe it will be easier to take more photos - i hope so :)  Yesterday i was demoing Copic Markers in the shop so here are some flowers i did to show you how you can use the same image to produce completely different cards - with just different colour combos.
Pink, Turquiose & Blue, i did other colours too altho i think the turquiose is my fav!
Last night i thought i would make up a lil simple card sample with these images i have coloured.
I 3D'd the flowers to make them stand out even more and just added a dash of ribbon a trio of Card Candi, Sentiment Stamp & a bit of Bazzill. So simple and elegant for any occasion. Incase you are wondering this image is from a Hero Arts Stamp Set called Delicate Blossoms, we have this on the way and due in at the shop anyday, if you would like us to reserve one just email the shop!

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges....

Supplies - Copics, Hero Arts Stamps, Card Candi, Bazzill & Ribbon.

We have the entire British collection on way, i think there are 26 different items coming! I was very lucky as i got a few bits to play with to make samples for the shop, lucky for me as i am loving London stuff at the moment!!
This is only a few that i have made so far as i have quite a lot on at the moment but as you can see every one is completely different and there are sooo many ways you can use this new collection. I love all the Keep Calm stuff so expect from me using those soon.

Everything used on these cards is going to be available individually at MMCS, so keep an eye on our website, facebook & blog for when they all arrive!

For this card i used a Lavinia Background - just because its so much easier and quicker to have a premade one done and handy, rather than getting out brayers etc!

London Dreams

OMG i am sooo loving all this London stuff out at the moment! I love how it's in fashion, homewear and now crafting too, it's brilliant! So today i have for you a really super simple card to show you that you don't have to have tons of products to create a stunning card...
This was made with my London Penny Black Stamp, as soon as i saw it months ago i new i had to get it although i have been very good and not got it until recently - i am now on a stash ban tho :(
All i did was stamp it in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colour little bits in with Copic Ciao R29.
The spotty bit is a fabric ribbon i got off ebay and i added a few Card Candi and that was it, a card in literally minutes!

Supplies - Penny Black Stamp, Memento Ink, Copics, Fabric Ribbon & Card Candi.

Butterfly Dreams

OMG i just love this stamp set! It is definiately my favourite Studio 490 Stamp Set that i have... although technically it is the only one i do have lol but i sooo love it!!
So anyway here is another lil card i have made using this stamp set...
This one was really simple to make and took hardly anytime at all, just a case of building up the background really which i am loving doing :)
So i created the background with my Pan Pastels i only used two colours a green and a yellow - will find out the colours soon! I then stamped my Artemo Script Stamp over the background. I then used my Studio 490 stamps to create the swirls & flowers. The butterflies were also made using that set and were just cut out and glued on to make it a bit more dimensional. The embellishment is a Tim Holtz Label and the greeting is also from the Studio 490 Set. We will be stocking all these products over at MMCS very soon so keep an eye out there for them!

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges...

I will be back with more cards later :)

Supplies - Studio 490 Stamps, Artemo Stamps, Pan Pastels, Distress Inks, Tim Holtz Embellishments & Bling.
