New Ways With Vellum Pt 2

Hello Readers,
Please note this is a scheduled post as i am away on holiday!
I am back today as promised with my other three Ways With Vellum Cards that i made for my latest project in Quick Cards Made Easy. I absolutely love the Crate Paper Oh Darling Collection that i got to work with on these cards...
For this card i die cut vellum using MFT Traditonal Tag STAX Dies and heat embossed the sentiment using white embossing powder. The papers & die cuts are Crate Paper Oh Darling and i simply added some sequins and twine.
For this card i used a sheet of printed spot vellum that i used an overlay on the background. The papers & chipboards are Crate Paper Oh Darling. I embossed a die cut oval using a Deer Lizzy Bunting Embossing Folder. I simply added a mini message, ribbon & gems.
Sorry this one is a bit blurred. For this card i used added faux stitching to a piece of vellum. I also used Crate Paper Oh Darling Papers, Die Cuts. I simply added some sequins.

I hope you liked these creations, i will be back soon :)

New Ways With Vellum Pt 1

Hello Readers,
This is a scheduled post as i am away on holiday.
Today it's time to share with you my latest project that was featured in last months Quick Cards Made Easy Magazine. My theme this time around was Ways With Vellum - i have to say i did slightly panic to start with as i haven't used vellum in years and even then never really it used it much. Once i had all the products arrive the ideas soon flowed - thankfully :) So today i am sharing my first two...
For this card i used a Craftwork Cards Shaped Card Blank and covered it with Crate Paper Oh Darling Papers. The love you word is also from Crate Paper. I simple added some sequins, ribbon, crate paper chipboards & some rhinestones.
This one also features lots of lush products from the Crate Paper Oh Darling Collection. I used the 12x12 Collection Pad & Die Cut Shapes. I stamped a sentiment from a Paper Smooches Stamp Set onto vellum and heat embossed in white embossing powder. I also added some sequins.

I will be back tomorrow with my other three vellum cards :)

Halcyon Days Creations

Hello Readers :)
I am back today with my final Halcyon Days samples! I am hoping you will have seen these on the TV - but you know i am on holiday so i won't get to see the shows & what was shown til i am back.
So both of these were made using the Halcyon Days CD Rom. The bunting, sentiment banner, frame and 3d bows were all printed off the CD Rom. It has some fab new features this CD - i love the frames you could give them as a present.

I will be back tomorrow with more cards, well that's if blogger is playing nicely :)

Halcyon Days Sneak Peaks 2

Hello Peeps,
So it's time for some more sneak peaks using Halcyon Days CD Rom.
This time i have altered the front of a notebook and also created a mug!

Lots of people have been asking me how i did the mug - it's very simple. I used a product called Safmat - it's made by Letraset. I just printed onto it and transferred it onto the mug. Very simple but effective and you can use it on almost any surface so it's a definite must have product to have - especially with your cd roms!

This fantastic new collection launches on Create & Craft as The Weekender on Saturday 24th May!

Good Luck

Hello,
Well by the time you read this, i will be on the airplane to Magala, Spain with my girls on our holiday! Woohoo finally some much needed sun, sea & sand! Today i have a Good Luck card that i was asked to make for Quick Cards Made Easy Magazine. This was for the Stash Raiders feature - so i had to use products i already had in my stash - luckily i had the perfect stamp!
This stamp is by Woodware and is called Huge Good Luck. This stamp is perfect for paper piercing and even doodling. I opted for paper piercing this time. The papers i used are from an old Echo Park Paper Pad that i had left overs from. I simply added some organza ribbon. The sentiment & flour leaf clover come with the huge good luck stamp. I drew some hand drawn lines around the image to make it pop.

I will be back soon :)
