Yappy Birthday

We are all loving the gorgeous weather here at the moment. I am hoping it lasts until my birthday at the weekend. It will be a weird one as we were meant to be in Butlins but can't even go out as we are still in lockdown. We will celebrate in the best way possible I'm sure. Talking of birthdays I have a birthday card to share using some super cute doggies...

The sentiment is a Happy Birthday Die from Hello Bluebird I just took out the H and replaced it with another Y. I added some Nuvo Drops to finish. I love this colour combi I must make more!

Beautiful Butterfly

Today is meant to be the hottest day of the year today and here I am sat inside in my fluffy pjs! Today I am sharing a simple card that was in Crafts Beautiful Magazine using a beautiful large butterfly...
This lovely big stamp is from The Ton Stamps called Transformation. It's such a lovely stamp and a lovely design to incorporate the flowers too. It is a very big stamp so this card is quite big! I coloured the butterfly with Copics and cut it out. I created a subtle stamped background using the dots included in the stamp set. I added some ribbon, lace and pearls then mounted onto card. I also added a stamped sentiment which I think is by Kaisercraft - I will find out!

Supplies;
The Ton Stamps - Transformation
Copic Markers
Coloured Card
Ribbon & Lace
Adhesive Pearls

I will be back soon with more of my cards.
Stay safe and well.

Missing You

Hi all,
I have been meaning to post this card for a few days now but it's always something that I never seem to get the time to do but hurrah finally it's here! I am loving all the Mama Elephant releases at the moment as you may have guessed. I got these Monkeys from the last release and I finally got to create a card with them...
 For this card I did of course use the Mama Elephant Zodiac Monkey Stamps. I coloured them with my Copics and cut them out on my Scan&Cut. I created the blended background using Mermaid Lagoon and Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide Inks. I stamped some leaves from the Sunny Studio Tropical Scenes Stamp Set using my new Stampin Up White Ink Pad. I then die cut the panel using Mama Elephant Slim Card Basics Dies. I used a printed sentiment as I couldn't find the right sentiment stamps in the right size. I then added some raindrop embellishments to finish.

I got some new PinkFresh Studio Liquid Watercolours so I am hoping to share some samples using those soon, watch this space!

Supplies;
Mama Elephant Stamps - Zodiac Monkey
Sunny Studio Stamps - Tropical Scenes
Mama Elephant Dies - Slim Card Basics
Distress Oxide Inks - Mermaid Lagoon, Seedless Preserves

So for this card I used Mama Elephant Zodiac Rooster Stamps. I coloured them with Copic Pens and cut them out. I created the background using an MFT Cloud Stencil and some Distress Oxide Ink in Mermaid Lagoon. I created the grass using a stencil that I created from MFT Grassy Edge Die-namics. The windows are also MFT Die-namics called Stitched Triple Peek A Boo Window. I only recently got this die but I already love it! Birthday Zebra

Another wet and dark start to the day again today. It's strange having to have all the lights on when it was only a couple of weeks ago it as pure sunshine - that's England I guess! So today I am sharing a card that I made for latest MFT Sketch Challenge. I haven't joined in with one of these for a very long time so it was fun to try a new card layout...
For this card I decided to use MFT Zippy Zebra Stamps. I forgot how much I love this set, I must use it more often! I cut them out and coloured them with Copic Pens. I created the sky using a MFT Cloud Stencil along with a MFT Grass Die-namics Die. I blended the sky with Mermaid Lagoon and Twisted Citron Distress Oxides for the grass. I did a quick blended background with my Distress Oxide Inks using Shabby Shutters for the grass then Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar for the sky. I love my inks at the moment! I used Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillsides, Grassy Hills and Picket Fence Border Dies. I used MFT Stitched Cloud Edges Die-namics Dies for the clouds and i cut one layer from vellum. You Are Amazing

Today I am sharing a quick card that I made using some lovely new just released products....
Sorry about the lighting on this one, it's been a rainy week here so it's been a bit tricky! For this card I used the new Concord & 9th  Rainbow Turnabout Stamp. It's the first time I have used this type of stamp. It's really great, you can create the entire background in four different colours in just four presses! I have bought a few more to have a play with. I used Distress Oxides as I wanted the colour more opaque and I don't have that many other inks in these colours. I blended light blue ink across the background too but I think I should have left it white now. The sentiment is the Pink Fresh Studios You Phrase Builder Die Set. I also added a piece of vellum across the middle. I also added some sequins to finish.

Supplies;
Concord & 9th Stamps - Rainbow Turnabout
Distress Oxide Inks - Picked Raspberry, Twisted Citron, Mermaid Lagoon, Dried Marigold, Tumbled Glass
Pink Fresh Studios Dies - You Phrase Builder
Colored Card
Sequins

I will be back soon with more creations. Stay safe and well everyone!
