So Sweet

Good afternoon crafty friends. Sorry I haven't been on here for a while, the summer hols are almost over so normal service shall resume soon! As usual on a Thursday afternoon I am sharing my latest card for Time For Tea Designs. This week I created a box card with a cute scene...

So normally I would use one of my die sets to create this box shape but I actually wanted slightly different dimentions so I used it as a template then scaled it to the right size to create my own! They are still so easy to create and so much fun! I used the gorgeous cute mice from the Time For Tea Hello Cupcake & Sundae Sweeties. I coloured each of the images with Copics and die cut them using the coordinating dies. I created the background sky panel using the Time For Tea Scene It Stencil and a little Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Ink. I used the grass die from the Time For Tea Landscape Edge Dies to create each of the inner panels. I blended Twisted Citron & Mowed Ink Distress Oxide Inks onto each piece before assembling the box together. To finish I added a few Clear Drops.

Supplies;
Time For Tea Designs Stamps - Hello Cupcake, Sundae Sweeties
Time For Tea Designs Dies - Hello Cupcake, Sundae Sweeties, Landscape Edge
Time For Tea Designs Stencils - Scene It
Distress Oxide Inks - Mermaid Lagoon, Mowed Lawn, Twisted Citron
Copic Markers

Cool Birthday

Hello crafty peeps! It's Thursday and time to share my latest card for Time For Tea. I'm still loving playing with the latest release and with such cute images who can blame me?! I had so much fun creating this sweet summer scene... everyone loves an ice cream, right?

For this card I used the Cool Critters Stamp Set. I coloured the images with Copics and cut them out with the Cool Critters Coordinating Dies. I blended Faded Jeans & Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Inks to create the sky effect. I then blended Lucky Clover & Twisted Citron to create the grass & hedge. I used the Grass Die from Slimline Hillside Scene Dies and the Stitched Cloud from the Landscape Edge Dies to die cut each piece. I layered them together and die them with the postage stamp die from the Slimline Postage Stamp Dies. I attached the panel onto a white card base with foam pads. I added all the images and sentiment onto the card with foam pads and added some gems to finish.

Awesome Bubbles

Happy Thursday everyone, the weekend is in sight! Sometimes it's nice to just make a simple with minimal products. It's always a challenge for me and I swear they take longer but sometimes less is more. I really wanted to show that you can use just a couple of products to make a striking card so for this weeks card for Time For Tea Designs so I did just that...

I created the background first. I used the new Bokeh Bubbles Stencil along with my Distress Oxide Inks. I blended the lightest colours first then the others in brightness order. I masked several of the bubbles so I only got the ones I wanted and it wasn't too overcrowded. I mounted the panel onto lilac card then stright onto a card base. I used the You Are Awesome Sentiment Die to create the sentiment. I die cut it from black and white card and layered it together. To finish I added some Iridescent Rain Drops.

Hello Sunshine

Hello crafty peeps. Sorry I haven't been updating my blog as much, it's usually the case during the summer holidays but I do try and squeeze in a bit of crafting when I can. Today I have a simple card to share which was made using some of the latest stamps from Clearly Besotted.

For this card I used Clearly Besotted Lazy Days Stamp Set for all the images. I coloured them Copics and cut them out. I created a simple blended background using Salvaged Patina and Pumice Stone Distress Oxide Inks. I splattered the background a few times with the same coloured inks. I stamped a sentiment from the Reverse Confetti Lovely Day Sentiments Stamp Set at the top then added my images below it. I finished by adding some gems from Lucy's Little Things.
