Hello Bunnies

Hi everyone. Today I am sharing a quick card that I made using Mama Elephant Stamps. I absolutely love the zodiac range they do, I have almost all of them now...

This one was also featured in Making Cards Magazine in my simple stamping and blending inks project. For this card I used Mama Elephant Zodiac Rabbits (of course!). I coloured them with Copic Pens and cut them out. I created a lightly blended panel using my Twisted Citron & Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Inks then die cut it using a stitched rectangle die. I used the Mama Elephant Hilly Hello  Die for the hello sentiment which I cut from white card. I then added a couple of strips of grey striped paper and some Little Things Bubble Embellishments.

Supplies;
Mama Elephant Stamps - Zodiac Rabbits
Mama Elephant Dies - Hilly Hello
Distress Oxide Inks - Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn
Copic Markers
Patterned Paper
Little Things - Bubbles

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you have a fabulous long bank holiday weekend. It's my birthday on Sunday so hoping the weather stays nice for that! I will be back next week with more creations for you.

Bee Happiness

Hello crafty friends and welcome to another new week! It's very dark wet weather day here today so I thought I would share my bright bee card that I made. I do apologise for the rubbish lighting, it was tricky to photo with today's weather. I will say though, these bees are the cutest...

For this card I used one of the newly released stamp sets from Clearly Besotted Stamps. This one is called Spelling Bee. It actually has many images for back to school but also lots that can be used for many occasions. I coloured them with Copics and cut them out. I had a ready stamped and coloured banner that matched which i think is from the MFT Mice Day To Celebrate Stamp Set. I created a simple background using my new Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina Ink and my MFT Cloud Stencil. I added a strip of striped paper and a printed sentiment. I finished by adding a couple of clear bubbles.

Supplies;
Clearly Besotted Stamps - Spelling Bee
MFT Stamps - Mice Day To Celebrate
MFT Stencils - Clouds
Simon Says Stamp - Sentiment Strips
Distress Oxide Inks - Salvaged Patina

You Are Awesome

Hello crafty friends! Can you believe it is Thursday already, where do the days go? Today I am sharing my latest make for Time For Tea Designs. I kept this one simple but made it bright & colourful...

I thought it would be different to show that you can use just dies on a card and make them the focal point. For this card I used Time For Tea Designs You Are Awesome Sentiment Dies. I die cut it from black and white card and layered it together. I die cut  the little stars from white glitter card. They are very sparkly in real life just unfortunately it doesn't pick up well in the photo. I created a splash effect background using my Distress Inks. The colours I used are Picked Raspberry, Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio, Twisted Citron and Mustard Seed. I simply added some ink to a piece of acetate spritzed it with water and placed it face down onto some watercolour. I repeated it until I got the background I wanted then added some black paint flicks. I also added a printed sentiment from the Brighter Days Black Sentiment Cards.

Supplies;
Time For Tea Sentiment Dies - You Are Awesome
Time For Tea Sentiment Cards -  Brighter Days Black

I used my Mama Elephant Slimline Basics to create the background hill blending some Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink. I cut a strip of card and added some Pumice Stone & Black Soot Distress Oxide Inks. I then added the images with foam pads, added a stamped sentiment and pearls to each side. Wish Come True

Hello crafty friends. Sorry I haven't posted for a few days, I haven't been feeling too great but am on the mend. Today I thought I would share one of my cards that I made for my decoupaging with stamps project. I created the blended background using Kitsch Flamingo and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Inks. I made it nice and pastel so it made the images pop. I stamped the sentiment, layered it onto card and added it onto the card. This one featured in Crafts Beautiful and I will share the others I made soon.
