Merry

Happy Christmas Eve!
I've only got to work half day today, yay. I can't wait to spend the next few days off spending time with my family. Here is my third and final card from my Me To You project.
For this card I used the Me To Yo Christmas Decoupage Pad & Paper Pad. I also added some pearls and ribbon to finish it all off. A super simple one when you have to create so many Christmas cards.

Decorating The Tree

Afternoon people!
Well for once I didn't get totally drenched on the school run but give it a couple of hours the afternoon run I probably will! So other than school runs I have been making lots of cards for my upcoming magazine projects. I thought I would share one of my Joanna Sheen cards that were made for Making Cards Magazine using the freebie papers...
I'm normally  into the Victorian style but I think these bunnies are actually quite sweet. They look a lot like my Sylvanian Families scenes that I do on my other blog. Everything on this card is made using the free papers & toppers all I added was some kraft card, ribbon and a rhinestone cluster.

I will be back with more creations soon.

Merry & Bright Fairy

Good Morning :)
Today is the start of one of my Christmas projects that was recently in Crafts Beautiful Magazine. I really love The Hobby House Toppers and must get round to using them more. The designs are great and pre-coloured which is awesome for me as I'm always short of time lately.

Octavia Merry Christmas

Hello, I am back as promised with my second card from my Octavia Frosted Winter project that was made for Making Cards Magazine...

Everything is pretty much from the Polkadoodles Frosted Winter Octavia CD Rom the sentiment, embellishments, image and papers that is. I mounted everything onto black card and distressed all the edges. There is loads of glitter on this too but it doesn't show up too well in pictures. I also added some gems to the Christmas tree along with some ribbon and a resin flower to finish.

Angel

Sorry I haven't been able to post anything for a little while. I have been having problems uploading photos to blogger across all my blogs and have seen many of you have too. It's so frustrating when that happens and you need it to work but hey fingers crossed this works! So here is another quick card that was in Making Cards Magazine made using the free papers.
Gotta say think this angel looks like a bit of a rascal! Aside from the papers I simply used some Die-namics Zig Zag Circles to cut the circle which was then embossed. I then added some ribbon and some gems, simples!

Back soon :)

Joy Crimbo

Today I thought I would share one of my cards that I made for Making Cards Magazine using the free papers that come with the magazine. I get to do these projects every month and they have to be simple and not using much else extra - I always enjoy doing them!

Art Deco Part One

Hello Peeps :)
Today I am sharing two of my cards from a project that was made for Quick Cards Made Easy Magazine. These are the first two from my Art Deco project...
I made both of these using Tattered Lace Dies teamed with Kaisercraft Papers. I also added some ribbon and pearls. Now this may shock you but normally I don't really 'do' Tattered Lace, I am not sure why as I know they are really popular but they just aren't me.  I was actually quite surprised how much I actually like these cards, maybe as I kept to my usual style, I do like vintage themes sometimes and I love the couple. Reminds me of Strictly Come Dancing!

I will be back tomorrow with my other two 'Art Deco' cards :)

Toasty Greetings

Hello crafters :)
Have you seen the latest new MFT release? OMG it's amazing full of gorgeousness and so many must haves! I decided to use the new snowman stamp set for this card...
The stamp set by MFT is called Toasty Greetings and features so many lovely images and sentiments to match. I coloured my snowman with Copics and added lots of glamour dust - can't have too much glitter at Christmas! I also used the Pierced Circle Frame Die-namics. I teamed up an old stencil with distress inks for the background and added some ribbon.

All the products can be found at My Mums Craft Shop.

I am off to the NEC tomorrow to stock up on some crafty essentials.
See you all soon :)
