3D Bobbin Card

Hello and happy Sunday!!
Hope you are all having a relaxing time, i am crafting the day away!
Here is my latest creation for Studio 12 at Polkadoodles
I thought it would be nice and a bit different for me to create a different shapes card cos let's face it working on squares is easier but sometimes a bit boring!
All the elements i used are from the All Sewn Up Collection On Picknix CD 1. I enlarged the Handmade bobbin as a base and turned it into a card blank. I arranged all the elements before printing but also printed another layer to make them all 3d. I added a bit of lace and ribbon from my stash to create the skirt on the mannequin. I also distressed all the edges of the card using Tea Dye Distress Ink.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges...

Joanna Sheen - Anything Goes Except Christmas
OSAAT - Fabric, Ribbon or Lace
Totally Gorjuss - Don't Be Square
Cute Card Thursday - Girls Only
That Craft Place - No Squares Allowed

Hope you enjoyed my creation today and catch you all soon.

Winter Wonderland

Hello Peeps,
It's Friday and time for a new challenge over at Polka Doodles.
This week we have a fabulous theme of...
Any Die Will Do
So of course we want to see you use some dies on your entries, a nice easy one i would say!
As i am loving winter scenes and penguins here is what i came up with...
The background paper & all the images are from the Here Comes Christmas CD. The sentiment was printed directly onto the paper then i had to cut them all out all the images so i could layer them.
The snowflakes are the Cheery Lynn Snowflake Die, which is fabulous as it has so many different shapes & sizes of snowflake - perfect for creating a scene. I also added lots of Stickles Glitter to the trees and snow.

Come on over to the Polka Doodles Blog to see the rest of the design team's creations and to enter this week's challenge!

Ice Cream Cutie

It's challenge time over at Little Miss Muffet again and this week we are challenging you to create something on the theme of 'Textiles'. So you can add fabric, ribbon, twine, felt etc.
I have opted for the Ribbon & Twine as i didn't have any pretty fabric around.
So for my card i used the gorgeous Swings N Slides Ice Cream and coloured her with Copics.
She is just such a little cute how you could you not want her on a card!
The papers i used are My Minds Eye The Sweetest Thing Honey. I am trying to use up some of my half used paper pads so i can go shopping for more early next year. Sugary Christmas

Hello everyone, hope you are all enjoying your weekend and it's not too cold where you are!
I just love Gingerbread people so of course the Gingerbread Twist CD was totally perfect for me! In fact it is probably my favourite craft cd ever.. it's so crammed full of images, embellishments, papers etc... i just LOVE it. So of course i had to do another Gingerbread card, still got lots to make for Christmas you see...
I designed the entire card on craft artist but i printed all the elements off separately so i could cut them out and put them all together and 3d some elements. How cute is that sentiment? It is also off the Gingerbread CD too - in fact it has tons of lovely sentiments on.

Catch you all soon :)

Fairy ATC's

Hello, here is my usual post for Vilda Stamps.
Today i have some ATC’s to show you, three infact that all coordinate together perfect for trading or swaps. Please accept my apologies for the poor photo’s, it has been so dark here it’s been impossible to take good photos.

So i used loads of gorgeous Vilda Stamps, they are so perfect for getting all inky. I started out
by inking the background with distress inks. I then stamped it with Letter Context. I then distressed the edges of each ATC.

For the first  and last one i used the lovely Fairy Silhouettes, simple yet so stunning. I also used the Twigs Kit for all the bits around the edge, these are perfect for building little scenes. For the middle one i used the Victorian Collage stamp and teamed this up with some cogs from the Coggwheel Kit.

Visible Image - Immortal Love

Woohoo today is finally.. of course it's time for new releases over at Visible Image!
There are 3 brand new stamp sets available today Immortal Love, Free Your Imagination & Beauty Is Art. Each set is packed full of lovely clear stamps and is such fabulous value.
All the design team have come up with fabulous ideas using these stamps which you will get to see each day over the next few weeks, so be prepared to be inspirated and keep an eye on the Visible Image Blog. Here is my first creation....
For this card i used the Immortal Love Stamp Set. I created some masks using some temporary sticky paper..although you could use post it notes too. I had to make 5 masks using the smaller rose to complete the background. It did take a little while to complete but i got there in the end and once you get going it is really easy to do. I then stamped out the large rose 3 times and coloured with copics.
I then decoupaged the rose and made it 3d using foam pads. To finish i stamped the Love sentiment on a strip of paper and added it across the bottom of the card. A simple yet effect card made easy.

Don't forget Visible Image have a new Facebook Group we would love it if you could come over and join us, lots of inspiration, sneak peaks, offers and more.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges...

Catch The Bug - Anything Goes
