Buzzing By

Hi all,
Today I am sharing a cheery card that is made in this months Crafts Beautiful Magazine. I love that yellow makes me feel happy - maybe b'cos it reminds me of the sun! I've had these stamps for a while so I finally got around to using them...
For this card I used the Sugarpea Designs Hey Honey Stamp Set along with the Dies. I used various inks to create layered bees and stamped the bear onto coloured card. I heat embossed the sentiment and used a MFT Hexagon Background Stamp to create a subtle honeycomb paper. I also used the Sugarpea Designs Stacking Hexagons. The yellow backing honeycomb paper is from Pink Petticoat.

Enjoy your weekend, I will be back soon :)

It's Gnome Time

Hello,
It's back to school and normal routine for us here today. Jazz has gone to her brand new Middle School so she was very nervous and excited. The bonus is we don't have to walk miles to school now which is great especially when it rains! Today I am sharing a Christmas card, yes I know it's not yet but autumn always fly's by and I have been working on Christmas for magazines since April!
How cute are these gnomes! This is from the brand new collection designed by Helz Cuppleditch for Craft Consortium called It's Snome Time. I used the Decoupage Sheets and the Paper Pad. The pad is full of so many sheets and toppers - a must have for this Christmas. I mounted everything onto light kraft card, added some ribbons, gems, wooden stars and a button. I also added a die cut border that you can just about see!

Supplies;
Craft Consortium It's Snome Time 12x12 Paper Pad
Craft Consortium It's Gnome Time Decoupage Pack
XCut Corner Rounder Punch
M&C Dies - Borders
Wooden Stars
Light Kraft Card
Adhesive Gems
Gingham Ribbon
Button

I will be back soon,

Wonderful Foxes

Hello,
I can't believe it is now September! I do love Autumn so I'm very excited it's on the way. Today I am sharing one of my latest cards thats published in this months Crafts Beautiful Magazine. This one was made for my Expert Feature on Masking with Stamps...
I've gotta say this was quite a fiddly card to create but I got there in the end and was quite pleased how it turned out. Unlike my usual cards this card is just a flat one layer card. I had to do a lot of masking to create the entire scene. The super cute stamps I used for this card are MFT Stamps Friendly Foxes and Scene Builder. The clouds were made with a MFT Cloud Edge Stencil and some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. I stamped and masked the hills and blended Mowed Lawn & Peeled Paint Distress Inks. I coloured the trees and foxes with Copics Markers. I added a stamped sentiment and some sequins to finish.

Supplies;
MFT Stamps - Friendly Foxes, Scene Builder
MFT Stencils - Cloud Edges
Distress Oxide Inks - Tumbled Glass, Mowed Lawn, Peeled Paint
Copic Markers
Make It Colour Card
Coloured Card
Sequins

I will be back soon,
Kitty xx
