Warm Wishes

Hello crafty friends! I hope you all had a lovely Christmas, as best it can be at least with all the restrictions and rules with the pandemic. I was very spoiled as always and got so much craft stuff to play with so I will be busy! I have a few more Christmas/festive makes to share so I will still share those with you then I have lots more spring themed projects to share. Here is a more traditional card that was featured in Making Cards Magazine with a modern colour palette...

For this card I used MFT Little Town of Bethlehem Die-namics Dies. I cut all the layers from black card and added silver glitter around the edges before layering them together. I created the background using Wilted Violet & Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide Inks. I created a moon effect using Hero Arts Unicorn White Ink, gently blending into a circle shape. I die cut the stars from silver glitter paper and added some white dots around each star. To finish i added a stamped sentiment.

Supplies;
My Favorite Things Die-namics Dies - Little Town of Bethlehem
Distress Oxide Inks - Wilted Violet, Seedless Preserves
Hero Arts Pigment ink - Unicorn White
Coloured Card
Silver Glitter

I will be back soon with more creations. Thank you for stopping by and enjoy the rest of the festive period.

Merry Christmas Gnomes

Good morning and Happy Christmas Eve!! I can't believe how fast the past few weeks have gone and Christmas is almost here. I still have a few festive makes to share with you so I will be posting them over the festive period when I can. How about some cute festive gnomes...

I went over the side blended panels with my Neat & Tangled Fa La La La Stencil. I added glitter paper to the front panel. I added my stamped sentiment using Lawn Fawn Simple Wavy Banner Die & Wavy Holiday Greetings Stamp Set. I also added some Clear Bubbles to finish.

Merry Bears

Hello! I can't believe Christmas is already almost here, only just over a week to go. It will be very different for many of us but we all must just make the most of what we do have right now. Hopefully next year will be a better year for us all. Onto today's card... this time I thought I would share another of my stepper cards, this time it features some cute Mama Elephant Bears...

For this card I used Mama Elephant A Beary Christmas Stamp Set. I coloured the images with my beloved Copic Pens and cut them out. I created the background using my MFT Cloud Edge Stecnil with a little Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink. The front panel is white glitter card so it's really sparkly like snow. I die cut the Merry sentiment several times and stacked it using my Lawn Fawn Merry Die. I then added a simple stamped sentiment to finish.

Supplies;
Mama Elephant Stamps - A Beary Christmas
Lawn Fawn Dies - Merry
MFT Stencil - Cloud Edges
Distress Oxide Inks - Tumbled Glass

Sea-Prise!

Hi all, I hope you had a fab weekend! Today I am going to share with you a fun aperture card that I made a while back for Let's Make Cards Mag. It's a non Christmas one featuring this fun shark from Avery Elle...

For this card I used Avery Elle Sea-Prise Stamp Set. I coloured my shark with Copic Pens and cut him out. I used some blue card for the background and added some die cut clouds using Sunny Studio Fluffy Clouds Die. I blended some Distress Oxide Inks onto some white card for the waves and die cut them with my Lawn Fawn Simple Stitched Wavy Borders Dies. I created a die cut square panel from patterned card in my stash and created a window in the centre with a white card mount frame. I added a stamped sentiment to the front wave and added some clear raindrops.

Supplies;
Avery Elle Stamps - Sea-Prise!
Sunny Studio Dies - Fluffy Clouds
Lawn Fawn Dies - Simple Stitched Wavy Borders

Winter Snowmen

Hello crafty friends. I hope you are all keeping warm and well. It's certainly got a little chillier lately. It's such a busy time of year so please accept my apologies for not updating  my blog as much. It will be back to normal in January but I do love the holidays and spending the extra time with my family. Anyway enough of all that, here is today's card...

I made a stepper card and this one was featured in Crafts Beautiful. I don't make these very often but I thought I would have a go and it was more fun than I thought! I created this card using these cute snowmen stamps from a new MFT Stamp Set called Present Time. I coloured them with Copics and fussy cut them out. I created the panel using Wilted Violet & Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide Ink. I added the stars using Lawn Fawn Starry Sky Stencil and some white ink. I added some glitter card for the front panel to make it sparkle. I finished by adding a stamped sentiment.

Supplies;
My Favorite Things Stamps (MFT) - Present Time
Lawn Fawn Stencil - Starry Sky
Distress Oxide Ink - Seedless Preserves, Wilted Violet
Copic Pens
Glitter Card

Thank you for stopping by today, I will be back with another creation soon.

Merry & Bright Snowflakes

Hello crafty friends. Today I am sharing another simple festive make from my Emboss Resist project in Crafts Beautiful...
I love how easy these are to create and even though they are simple they still look effective - well better in real life anyway! So for this card I used MFT Serene Snowflakes Stamps. I stamped them randomly using Versamark Ink. I used Brutus Monroe Alablaster White embossing powder over the top and heat set it. I then gently blended Picked Raspberry & Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink  over the top until it created a simple fade out. I stamped my Merry & Bright sentiment from my Sugar Pea Designs Oh So Jolly Stamp Set. I die cut this using M&C Stitched Circle Dies. I added a strip of silver glitter paper and added some Little Things Bubble Embellishments to finish.

Supplies;
My Favorite Things Stamps (MFT) - Serene Snowflakes
Sugarpea Designs Stamps - Oh So Jolly Sentiments
M&C Stitched Circle Dies
Distress Oxide Inks - Picked Raspberry, Spun Sugar
Brutus Monroe Embossing Powder - Alablaster White
Versamark & Versafine Ink
Lucy's Little Things - Bubbles
Glitter Paper

Thank you ever so much for stopping by today and I will be back with another creation soon.
