Happy Bee Day

Hello! Another wet and windy start to the week here - it seems more winter weather is on the way! I have something cheerful and spring like to share with you. This one was featured in the latest PaperCrafter Magazine and is currently on the front cover too...

This one is part of my Embossing with Inks project. For this card I used a Darice Honeycomb Embossing Folder and added some Dried Marigold Distress Ink inside, spritzed it with water and ran it through my Big Shot to create the background. The super cute bees and flowers are Hello Bluebird Stamps - Bee Happy. I also added a strip of washi tape and added a stamped sentiment.

You're So Tweet

Time for something cute yet bright and colourful. This one was part of a project that is featured in the latest Making Cards Magazine. They asked me to create some bright neon cards using my Distress Inks so I decided to pair them with some fun cute images...

I created this card using Reverse Confetti Stamps Toucan of Friendship Stamps. I coloured them of course using my Copic Pens. I created the distress background using Distress Inks in Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron. I added some strips of card and patterned paper. The sentiment I created on the computer and printed it out. To finish I added some Nuvo Drops.

A Floral Hello

Hello! Today I am sharing something a little different for me. A bright floral card. I do make them from time to time but it was lovely to create something that's not cute for a change. This one was featured in last months Crafts Beautiful Magazine, it even made the front page...

For this card I used Concord & 9th Hello Lovely Stamp Set. I used my Copic Pens to colour in the images and cut them out. I added some Nuvo Drops to the flower centre. The sentiment is also from the stamp set. I created a subtle background using MFT Stamps Brush Splatter Background Stamp. I added a strip of patterned paper and some gems to finish.

Crafty Birthday Bunnies

It seems that winter is now setting in! It's so dark and rainy here today so I have something to brighten up the day. This card was featured in Making Cards Magazine as part of the Shaker Cards project. I decided to use my favourite type of stamps... cute bunnies!!

For this card I used Mama Elephant Stamps Crafted With Love. It's such a cute set and perfect for all our crafting buddies! I coloured them all with my lovely Copic Pens and cut them out. I created the background using Distress Inks in Mermaid Lagoon. I die cut the background using MamaElephant Happy Birthday Die. I then created the shaker panel bebind the sentiment. I added some Nuvo Drops to finish.

Birthday Bugs

I am so pleased I can start sharing some more Spring creations. It does seem however that our winter hasn't really begun yet so it will probably be like winter soon and I'll want to share wintery creations! Anyway on with spring... this one was featured in Crafts Beautiful Magazine...

For this card I used Hello Sweetums Bitty Bugs Stamps. I coloured them with Copic Pens and cut them out. I created the sky by lightly sponging some Broken China Distress Ink. I then blended some Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron Distress Inks and die cut it with MFT Turf Vertical Dies. I used Hello Bluebird Happy Birthday Die to create the sentiment and die cut it from white foam.

Bithday Wishes

Today I am sharing a sweet card that was featured in Crafts Beautiful Magazine last month. I made this one with one of the new MFT Birdie Brown Stamps. This one is actually one they re-released that I missed out on the first time so I am so happy it's back...

For this card I used MFT Stamps Sweet Birthday Wishes Stamp Set. I coloured the images with Copics and cut them out. I created the background using Wilted Violet Distress Inks. I added some slightly darker dots using a MFT Confetti Stencil and the same ink. I added some Striped Paper and finally some Enamel Dots.

Handmade with Love

Hi all and Happy New Year! It may just be me but it seems like New Year was ages away now. It's back to normal routine today for us here, in a few hours I am sure I will find the house too quiet but right no I am enjoying the peace! Today I am sharing a card that was featured in Crafts Beautiful Magazine. I decided to use some super cute crafty critters from Mama Elephant...

How cute are they? I love that the bear even has a Big Shot! These stamps are Crafted with Love by Mama Elephant. I coloured them with my Copics and cut them out. I created the background using Distress Oxides in Picked Raspberry & Scattered Straw. The frame is from the Blueprints 28 Die Set by MFT. I finished by added a sentiment that I created on the computer and printed out.
