Bzzzz

Hello Peeps :)
Just a quick post from me today as i am off to Exeter Craft Show, been a few months since i visited a craft show so i am off to have a crafty shopping spree, hopefully pick up some bargains too!  Today i have am with a quick & easy card i made as part of my dt duties at MMCS. This week our theme is Something New so i thought i would ink up one of my new sets of The Alley Way Stamps.
I love bee images, i have to confess i have quite a few, there is something cheerful about them, maybe it's because they are bright yellow and that cheers me up! This stamp is from the Priceless Joy Set which is full of uber cute little images. I coloured up mr bee with my Copics and i stamped the bzzz sentiment a few times to create a sentiment banner. I also used an SU embossing folder & some Pink Petticoat Digi Honeycomb papers!

Thanks for stopping by today :)

She Art Cards

Hello peeps!
Hope you are all having a great week so far! I am busy busy as always working behind the scenes on more magazine projects at the moment. Talking of magazines, i have another mag project from Making Cards Magazine that i can now share with you. This one is my more inky style which haven't done for a while but have to say i do love getting all messy and inky...
For these cards i created the background using various colours of paint. I simply layered different layers of paint using a brayer - it so so much fun! I have used lots of stamps on here, some are from Creative Expressions and some are SheArt Stamps by Unity Stamps. The coffee rings were made using the edge of an empty loo roll holder. You can also create dots by dipping paint into the end of a pen -great for recycling i think and so much fun to do!

You're A Treasure

Hey Peeps!
Today i have a more clean and simple style card to show you. Well it's not clean and simple exactly just with some added layers - let's just call it a bit simpler! For Christmas my other half bought me some There She Goes Stamps that i wanted for ages, i was so pleased with them but only just got the chance to ink them up, so here is my first creation with them...
The stamps are Shiver Me Timbers but just after Christmas, There She Goes Stamps shut down which is such a shame as i have always loved there stamps and had many on my wish list. I coloured one of the pirates with my Copics. The sentiment is also from the same stamp set. The papers are a mix of various My Minds Eye Papers & Echo Park. I also added a dash of twine and a button.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges...

Di's Digis - Spots & Dots
A Gem Of A Challenge - For The Boys
Sentimental Sundays - More Than Three Layers
Crafty Sentiments - Anything Goes
Brown Sugar - Anything Goes

I Heart You

Hello my crafty friends :)
Today i have a card to show you that i made for my usual dt duties at My Mums Craft Shop. Our theme this week was red, pink & white. I had to use MFT products again as i had waited ages (ok only a week!) to use these stamps & dies! Well at least i am using them ;)
So for this card i started off by using the Dienamics XOXO Cover Up for the background. I decided to keep it looking like an embossed effect - can you imagine how long it would have taken to push out all those little letters?! The rest of the papers i used on this card are from My Minds Eye Cupids Arrow Paper Pad. The stamps are of course the MFT Heart Balloons & matching Dienamics Heart Balloon Dies. I also added a bit of twine from my stash.

I will be back tomorrow :)

How cute are these elephants? I just loooove them. They are from the Edwin & Hetty Set from Digi Stamp Boutique. They are so much fun to colour too. The papers i used are Authentique Smitten. I also used the Dienamics Heart Layered Border & Lots Of Love for the xoxo. The sentiment is from the MFT Heart Balloons Stamp Set. I also added some weave, ribbon, flowers & gems. Candi Flowers

Hello Peeps,
I am back with another couple of cards - see i am sticking to my new years resolution so far! This time i have some what i like to call Candi Flowers cards to show you. I made these for Making Cards Magazine. These are quite fun to make as you can do them in any colour combo!
I always choose my papers first that way i can colour my images to match - it's so much easier than searching for papers to match i have too many to do that it would take forever. I used gorgeous First Edition Papers on both of these cards. The stamps are both Woodware Bubble Bloom, we have quite a few different ones and both of these come with the sentiments. I also added some Card Candi and some ribbon.

I will be back tomorrow :)

 Hello Peeps,
Time to show you some more wintery themed cards that i made for & had featured in Making Cards Magazine. This time it's two Tilly Daydream cards. I loved making these these images are just super cute, i love them :)
For both of these cards i used the Tilly Daydream Ultimate Die Cut & Paper Pack. It's packed full of decoupage, toppers and matching papers. Today i have a Penny Black card to share with you, haven't used any wooden stamps for ages so thought it would be nice to.
So this is an older design but still available it's called Skip & Romp. The papers i used are a mixture of Echo Park Papers. I also used the Dienamics Monarch Border, lots of card and a button & twine. It's rather bright and cheery but that's what we need to get us through these dark winter days & nights.

Snow Princess Thank You

Hello Peeps!
I have been looking for something to make thank you cards from my girls for all the lovely presents they got this year. I have been struggling with what to do as i need to make quite a few and they have to be fairly simple and quick to make. As always though Nitwits came to the rescue and launched a fabulous new collection called Snow Princess. As soon as i saw this i knew this would be perfect as everyone who knows my girls know they loved the film Frozen and me I've seen it twice! This kit is gorgeous as it all snowy and perfect for all your little princesses.
I kept it very simple and just created a flat style scene and i mounted it with 3d pads onto one of the matching backing papers - i always have to have some sort of dimension! Everything i used is from the FQB Snow Princess Kit & Lil Bits Snow Princess Kit. You can also get it in a special Bundle which has everything plus a free limited edition kit too.

I will be back tomorrow :)

I made this using some of the fabulous new releases that were launched earlier this week. I used Dienamics Cute Cameras 2 and MFT Picture This Stamps. Hello Peeps :)
I am back with a CAS (clean & simple) card to share with you! I don't do these very often a although i love the look i don't know i just struggle somehow. I think it is because i am so used to lots of patterned papers, layers etc but i do plan to do more like this!
You might recognize those little birdies from my stash post yesterday. Yes these are my new Clearly Besotted Stamps and also dies. I just couldn't wait to ink them up! All i simply added was some card, pearls & twine. I just love these images and have lots of ideas buzzing around so hopefully soon i will get some more time to play with them.

Santa's Workshop Cards

Today i have two cards to show you that were made for & featured in Making Cards Magazine last year (still feels weird saying last year!). Sorry for the dark photos, they were only quick snaps that i took before sending them off to the magazine for publication. These are nice & simple ones made using the Helz Cuppleditch Santa's Workshop Collection...
So for both of these cards i used the Santa's Workshop 8x8 Decoupage Pad. I also used the matching Paper Pad, Buttons & Sentiments. I also added some ribbon, gems and some Kraft card! These are so quick to put together so if you are in a rush to do some quick cards these are great for that! I still have quite a bit of Christmas cards to share on my blog but i will do some non Xmas too for those of you that are fed up with Christmas! I make mine all year round and start in June/July for the magazines!

Believe In Fairies

Hello Peeps, if there is any of you out there that still read my blog lol!! I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas & New Year. We were all thoroughly spoilt and had a lovely time with all the family round. So it's new year and time for change and new things! One thing is i am going to try and blog more often. I have so many finished projects to blog but i always seem to forget about my poor old blog so i am going to get them up on here, so watch this space! First up to show you is a Lavinia Fairy card that was made for and featured in Making Cards Magazine...
I have always loved Lavinia Stamps and the simplistic silhouette style stamping - it is actually one of the first companies that got me hooked on stamping! I didn't brayer the background sadly i cheated and used one of the Pre Printed Scenescape Backgrounds. I used lots of Lavinia Stamps including the Believe & Dancing Fairies. I also added touches of glitter & pearls!

I will be back tomorrow with another creation :)
