Witch Wishes

Good morning crafty friends :)
Today I am sharing one of my cards that was featured in last months Making Cards Magazine. This one was created with the free papers that came with the magazine - Silhouette Witches & Fairies...
I quite like these papers and toppers as they are a bit different to the normal style and it's always great fun to use something a different. I added some lace, ribbon, flowers, pearls and some paper flowers to the card.

I will be back soon with more cards :)

Season To Be Happy

Hello I'm back and four days in a row - must be a miracle! I just have so much to share with you all which is great. Today I am sharing another of my recent cards from Crafts Beautiful using the freebie snowflake die...
This one was a fairly simple card. I simply die cut the snowflake from blue and lilac card and glued them onto a white panel. I mounted this onto lilac and blue card and onto the card front. I added some fishtail banners and used a MFT sentiment stamp set called Joyeous Christmas Sentiments. To finish I added some rhinestones.

I will be back soon :)

Ahoy Matey!

Today I am sharing one of my latest creations from last months Making Cards Magazine. I got to use one of my favourite ranges of the moment - Whiz Kidz Collection by Trimcraft. I just love these cuties....
I used the Decoupage Pad & Paper Pack from Whiz Kidz. I used a fine line pen to hand draw some fun borders around the papers instead of mounting them. The green fringe is a Die-namics Die called Chevron Fringe.  I also added some buttons too, simples eh?!

Thank you for stopping by :)

Xoxo

Hi all :)
Another start to another new week. We only have this week and next week then it's half term for my girlies. I can't wait, I love spending some extra time with them :). So today I have a Penny Black card to share with you that was made for Quick Cards Made Easy Magazine...
For this card I used a lovely stamp by Penny Black Stamps called XOXO. It's one of the Mo Manning Clear Stamps which is just adorable. I coloured her in with my copic markers. The papers are the ones that came free with the magazine and the flowers are simply cut out from one of the papers. I mounted everything onto kraft card and added some ribbon & pearls.

I will be back soon :)

Winnie in Winterland

Hello crafty people :)
Well it's not very often that i get to craft for me - just for fun. Today I had a smidgen of free time before my daughter returned from her dad's so i just had to use the brand new Winnie Kit from Polkadoodles!! Here is my first creation with the new kit...
I am LOVING this new kit called Winnie in Winterland. As with all Nikky's kits is packed full of everything you will ever need for all your creations; papers, digis, toppers, embellishments, flowers and so much more. Everything on this card was from the Big Kahuna Bundle. All I added was some kraft card, liquid pearls, nuvo crystal drops, lace and some mesh. I always love to add lots of dimension and layers too ;)

I will be back very soon with more :)

Happy Christmas Snowflakes

Hi all :)
I know it's only October but I can now finally start sharing some of my Christmas magazine projects. I have been working on xmas for what seems like forever - I actually started in May this year! This one i made back in June - crazy how far in advance I work but it's all good fun. So this one was made for Crafts Beautiful Magazine using the free snowflake that came with the magazine...
These ones always have to be pretty simple to show off the die as much as possible. I knew exactly what i wanted to do with this and so please how it turned out. The background paper i think was by Lawn Fawn and i added some glitter tape, ribbon and die cut sentiment.

I will be back soon :)

Beautiful Bird

Hello all :)
I have been busy behind the scenes creating some more magazine projects but I thought I would just pop on and share another one of my hummingbird cards that were recently in Quick Cards Magazine. Here is card number two...
I just love this watercolour butterfly - it is quite large too and fills cards nicely. The collection I have used is Butterfly Kisses by Bo Bunny. I used the papers, die cuts, chipboards and metal embellishments for this card. I mounted everything onto white card and also added some ribbon and lace.

I will be back soon :)
