Gnome with Sled

Hi all,

Today I am sharing a cute card featuring these super cute new gnomes that have just been released at Lili Of The Valley...

 For this card I used one of the new Lili Of The Valley Simply Prints called Gnome with Sled. I used some papers from The Works all mounted onto light kraft card. I added some trees using an old Magnolia Die that I made with Glitter & Kraft Card. I also added ribbon, lace, wooden snowflakes and words.

Oh Nuts!

Hi all,

Today I am sharing a card that I made using some of the new release MFT Stamps & Dies. Just love these cute squirrels...

For this card I used MFT Stamps Squirrel! that I coloured with Copics and cut out. I created the sky using an MFT Cloud Edges Stencil with some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink. I used the new MFT Tucked In Turf Die to create the grass and blended some Mowed Lawn & Twisted Citron Distres Oxides. I added some Nuvo Drops to the sky and finished with a stamped sentiment also from the Squirrel Stamp Set.

Birthday Llamas

Hi all,

Today I am sharing a fun card I made for Crafts Beautiful Magazine. This was for this months Expert Feature which I did on Masking with Stamps...

This card was definitely a labour of love but once I had the masks cut out it all came together easy. Remember once you have created a mask you can put it in with your stamp set then it's ready to use next time. For this card I used Taylored Expressions Look Who's Talking Stamp Set. I coloured them with Copics. I kept the background simple to show the technique. The sentiment is also from the stamp set.

Relaxing Birthday

Hi all,

Is anyone else missing the summer sunshine? It's meant to be getting warmer this weekend so here's hoping! Today I am sharing a quick card that was made for Crafts Beautiful Magazine as part of my Expert Feature of Paper Piercing with Stamps...

For this card I created a subtle blended background on a stitched square with Distress Oxide Inks. I used Lawn Fawn On The Beach Stamps, coloured them with Copics and cut them out. I stamped the top of the umbrella onto various pieces of patterned paper. I then cut them out and glued them onto the umbrella. I added a stamped sentiment and some sequins.

Painting Gnome

Hi all,

I'm so sorry I forgot to post this yesterday but here it is, better late than never! So by now you will know the fabulous new releases at Lili Of The Valley are now available. It was only released yesterday but has already been one of their most popular releases. Here is another sample from me using the new gnomes...

I decided to go with a shabby chic rustic theme for this one. This card features the Christmas Gnomes 2 Digi Stamp. I had great fun colouring it with my Copics. I used some old Christmas Papers from my stash ( I think they were Dovecraft) and got to work with my edge distresser tool to scuff up all the edges. I mounted them onto kraft card. I added some pearls, twine, burlap and a wooden corner.

Summer Splash

Hi all,

Although it may be raining here, I have another summery card to brighten up the day. I was so excited when I first got these super cute summer elephant stamps so I had to make a cute scene...

For this card I used the Mama Elephant Summer Splash Stamps. I coloured them with Copics and cut them out. The sentiment is from another stamp set by Mama Elephant called Beach Chickies, which also coordinates with this set. I created the background panel using some Distress Oxide Inks (Mermaid Lagoon & Tea Dye) and the waves stamp that is included in the set. I also used a Stitched Square Die and some red patterned paper from my stash.

No Drama Llama

Hi all,

Today I am sharing a quick card that was made using some stamps from new company Strawberry Moon...

How cute is that little Llama!? I love him! This card features the Llama Stamp Set from Strawberry Moon. You will soon be able to purchase these online but now you can find them on Facebook and also Instagram. I created the background using a Pretty Pink Posh Stencil and some Distress Ink. I added some die cut grass, some paper and a strip of card. I heat embossed the sentiment in white to make the colour pop.

Gnome Greetings

Hi all,

It's a wet weather day here today, so perfect weather for crafting! I have so much on my to do list so hopefully I will get some time to play with my bits and pieces. So today I am sharing a card that was made for Lili Of The Valley. They have an amazing Christmas release coming up so here is a sneak peek...

 This card is actually a lot brighter in real life but due to the dark weather conditions it was difficult to capture this when editing. This card uses one of the new Gnome Designs from Lili Of The Valley. They will be available as Digi Stamps in the LOTV Etsy Store. I coloured my santa style gnome with Copic Pens. I used some papers from my stash which were by Lawn Fawn. I mounted everything onto pale kraft card. I added a die cut tree, buttons, ribbon and sequins. The sentiment is also from the new digi release and will be available with all the other designs on 18th August. Not long to wait!

Sunshiny Birthday

Hi all,

Sorry I haven't posted for a while, we spent the last few days decorating my daughters bedroom. It looks so much better now and all grown up - she loves it! Today I am sharing a lovely summery card, not that it's been so summery here lately - it's all storms! 

For this card I used the MFT Stamps Drink Up The Sun Stamp Set. I coloured all the images and cut them out. I created the background using some Distress Inks mixed with some water. I blended some Distress Oxides onto smooth card and die cut them with different sized circle dies.  I added a strip of paper, a sentiment and finally some dew drops.

Christmas Reindeer

So today I am have some exciting news! Sue Taylor who used to own Craftwork Cards has now set up a brand new stamping company called - Strawberry Moon. She asked me to be on her Design Team so of course I said yes! Here is my first card using her Reindeer Stamps...

Super cute right?? I coloured him in Copics and cut him out. The sentiment stamps are also by Strawberry Moon too. I used a MFT Stencil and some Shaded Lilac Distress Ink to create the background. I added a strip of black and white card to finish.

Thank You Fairy Much

Hi all,

Today I'm sharing a quick card that made for Crafts Beautiful Magazine...

For this card I used the super cute Hello Bluebird Fairy Garden Stamps. I coloured them with Copics and cut them all out. I arranged them on the card and fixed them with foam pads. I also added some shimmer to the wings with a spectrum noir glitter brush pen. The background was created with distress inks - tumbled glass and twisted citron. The sentiment also came from the same stamp set.

Birthday Toucan

Hi all,

Today I am back with a simple tropical card which was inspired by so many of the design team creations at Pretty Pink Posh...

I used their Tropical Background Stencil and gently blended some ink through it. The stamps are Pretty Pink Posh Tropical Toucans. I also added some leaves from my Reverse Confetti Toucan Stamp Set. They were all coloured with Copics and cut out. I added a strip of striped card, a stamped sentiment and some Nuvo Drops.

Hippo Splash

Hello :)

We have just returned from our honeymoon in very scorching Mexico! It's a lovely place to holiday and even though it is rain season we only had one night of rain and a light bit one early morning. It was pretty spectacular to watch a tropical storm, with purple lightning. Anyway onto crafting... today I am sharing a summer card using some lush products from Reverse Confetti...

For this card I used Reverse Confetti Hippo Pool Party Stamps. I coloured them with Copics and cut them out. I used Lawn Fawn Stitched Waves & Stitched Hillside Dies for the background. Mounted the panel onto card and onto some spotty paper found in my stash.
