AWOL!

Sorry i have disappeared off the planet lately! I have been moving house again and to say it has been hectic is the understatement of the century! So i haven't been able to craft at all however i am just about all moved in and i do have all my craft stuff surrounding me so hopefully i will get some inspiration and get making some stuff!!

Now the only problem i do have is that my internet dongle can't pick up 3G here only a very poor gprs signal so uploading images may be tricky but just means i will have to take my laptop and sit in lovely starbucks for a while :)

So stay tuned for creations very soon!!!

Pollycraft Challenge - Favourite Things

I was a bit naughty and treated myself to a couple of new Pollycraft images the other day! I just love em so much, so i thought i would join in with the Pollycraft Challenges! This is my first entry and i hope to join in as often as i can. The challenge is to use your 'Favourite Things', so i have used my fav Twiddly Wings Image, Copics & Glitter!!

An Anya!

Ahhh here is my final card in my mammoth uploads!! I am finally up to date - phew! I didn't realise i had made that many cards in my absence!! I love the Miss Anya stamps so stylish & perfect for teens! I really want the Rain, Snow, Shine set so if anyone fancies an image swap get in touch!!!

Now i am able to get on my laptop i can now create with my digi stamps which i have missed so much!! So look out for more creations next week from me :)

A Helping Hand

Here is my final Eat Cake Graphic card for now! This image is perfect for a thank you card, especially if say you have been on holiday and someone has been looking after your dogs/pets for you! Well that's what i designed this card around anyway!

Eat Cake Graphics Glitter Birthday

How cute is this image?!? I just love it and i can't believe i haven't used it before! All there stamps seem to stamp perfectly the first time and have very fine lines which makes them even more professional looking i think!

Obviously this card had to be very girly and therfor just HAD to be PINK!!!! hehe! I have decoupaged the main image to make it stand out that bit more!

Eat Cake Graphics Christmas

Now i have expressed my love for these stamps before and it goes without saying they really do have such a FABULOUS range of stamps, hundreds and hundreds in fact!! I have been finally inking up quite a few of these lately and it has reimbursed my love for them even more!!

Here is a Christmas one i snapped up, again using the fab DCWV Papers i had from that QVC set! This card is quite glittery but you can't tell in the photo :( I must have another Christmas Card making day soon - was so much fun, even though it was a pretty sunny hot day that day!!!

Another QT Hooty

Here is another QT Hooty card. This stamp has to be one of my favorite all time stamps, i just love these cute trio of owls - sooo sweet!! It's great as you can colour in there hats & accessories to match whatever colour scheme you like!
Again i have used lots of layers & popped the matted pieces up on 3d foam to make it a bit more 3d & stand out!! Don't you think they look lovely in lilac?

Elzybells Christmas... Part 2!

Well here is another Christmas Card using the fab Elzybells Stamps again!! They are just so funky and you can do so much with them, i definately NEED to get some of the new ones as i love the new girl styles Elizabeth has done... can't wait to see the new Christmas releases!

This time i have decoupaged the charactors to make them pop & stand out... i think it works quite well! I have matched all the colours in with the papers & cardstock too and kept the layout simple as its quite a large stamped image! Shame the glitter doesn't show up much cos it really sparkles!

Elzybell Christmas

Well the other day i was on a roll and i just wanted to make Christmas cards! So i grabbed my fabulous Elzybells Christmas stamps and i was away! As you may notice i am majorly into layers & dimension at the moment!!

I used a stash of DCWV Christmas papers from a drawer set i got off QVC last year - i new they would come in use sometime!! I have paper pierced her lovely dress to match the background paper, just to be a bit different for a change!!

Cute Elephant

Last year at Newbury i bought sooooooooooooooo much stash and amongst this mountain of stash i bought a load of awesomly cute stamps from Stamposaurus, this elephant is one of them -they have loads of new designs now so worth checking them out!! The layout on this one is very simple but as i decoupaged the image it did take a while to do!!

QT Hooty!

See, i told you i had been mega busy making all these cards!! It's actually been nice to not get distracted too much and actually have some quality time to be able to create! I thought i would have run out of inspiration but apparently not as i have had loads of ideas and luckily still have a load of stamps!

This one is made using a QT Hooty stamp by Pink Cat Studio, one of my fav stamp companies! I used to the same layout as the baby card as i thought it was a bit different to my usual layouts & is kinda funky!

How cute is this lil dragon?! This is another newly inked up stamp i have had for a while that i haven't used - naughty!! I am really starting to love the Lelo Stamps, and i do have more on my stash shopping list, when funds permit!!

Baby Boy

I have had this cute lil wooden stamp for years. I think it was one of the first ones i bought, so i am glad i kept it as i new it would come in handy one day! One of my fella's workmates has just had a new baby boy called Joshua so i thought it would be nice to make them a handmade card for the special occasion! I'm really pleased how it turned out in the end so i hope they like it too!

OMG - Christmas!!!

Well it's not really that far away - quite scary really so it thought i best get started on some Christmas cards especially as i plan to do some fairs soon to sell them!! I got this stamp last year but i lost it for months & months but luckily i found it again recently so i have been able to use it!! I can see this one being used a hell of a lot this Christmas! My mum says it looks like me too hehe!

Penny Black Girls

I love this stamp and its actually the first time i inked it up!! I knew not having a laptop for a while would benefit, hehe!! This stamp so reminds me of me & my best mate Alex! I haven't seen her for a while so i might have to send it to her & arrange a coffee!! I kept the design very simple as i wanted to show off the fab image and i was having a lazy day, lol!! I'm Back!!!

Sorry for the lack of updates & cards! My laptop charger broke and i haven't been able to get online but luckily my new one came today so now i am back! Sharing Ice Cream

We have all been there as a child, wanting to share ice cream & our dinners with our beloved pets!! i just love this stamp image it's just so cute! I have had this stamp for quite some time but this is the first time it has been inked up! I am slowly getting round to using all my stamps!
It is called Unselfishness by Eat Cake Graphics and tell you what it stamps perfectly the first time & is a joy to colour. I am hoping to make a load of these as they are very simple & easy to make and i do have masses of Eat Cake stamps to use!!

Let's Fly A Kite!

Whilst blog hopping & searching for new Digi Stamps i stumbled across this FAB designer on Etsy... Soft Pencil. I just love her cutesy style images and i already have a list of ones i want to get next! I can't wait to see what fab images she comes up with next! Brighten Up Cupcake!!

Well yesterday was a bit of werid day weather wise, one minute it was pouring down, the next minute it was sunny with blue skys!! So staying with the nicer weather theme i decided to make a bright, cheery colourful summery card!

I used some fab citrus papers from the DCWV Sweet Stack to make this colourful card. I teamed this up with another fab Gingersnap CC Designs image - love em love em love em!!

Look, another fab range by Pollycraft Designs!! I'm sure many of you have these images already as they are just so cute but i have only just found them and you know what it's like when you find something new & awesome, lol!!

Another new CC Designs image! I just love these cuties, there images really are getting better & better! Again i have used green as my basis for this card, teamed with lots of doodlebug papers & matching copic colouring! I have yet to add some glitter to her wings as i can't seem to find where i have put my glitter! I have kept the design clean, simple & fresh looking as i am very much into doing at the moment!

Beach Babe

I just love CC Designs, they never fail to impress me! I have so many of there stamp sets and i'm so pleased they are now doing Digi Stamps as i'm inpatience and now i don't have to wait to get my hands on there newest images!!

Olive Cards

Sorry i have been MIA lately! I have been very busy sorting out all these new designs that are coming soon at Spiral Whisper. You really will LOVE all the new ones we have in the pipeline for this month!!

Roary Racing Car!

It was little Alfie's (Tonys Godson) 3rd birthday over the weekend!


We had a lovely trip out to toys r us to find him a birthday present which was a puzzle that you turn into a racing track, he seemed to love it when we gave it to him lastnight. It was wrapped in Roary Racing car paper so yesterday after feeling a bit poorly & after my few hospital trips over the last few days i thought i should make him a card and what better than a matching card!!

So here is the card i managed to make! I have to say i struggled with the idea but once i got going it all came together easily.

All the pictures are cut out of the wrapping paper and glued onto 200gsm white card to make it stronger & popped up on 3d pads.

As this isn't the sort of cards i normally do i have to say im pretty pleased with how it turned out!!

Here is a card i made last night, it uses the Spring Cubes Set, which is great for everyday, mothers day, easter and everything in between! It contains 5 pictoral stamps & 8 wording stamps..13 stamps in total!! Such a bargain!

I teamed these fab stamps up with some lovely pastel doodlebug papers & matching bazzill. I always find with all of Elzybells Stamps that they stamp so clearly and are perfect to colour, i love using my copics with them!!

Tony & Kittys Craft Night In!!!

Well as you can see we had a nice evening in yesterday and made use of the time for crafting!
