Bee & Flower Friends

Hello friends! I hope you have been enjoying the glorious sunshine we have been having. It's been getting a bit too hot in my craft room so I haven't been able to create as much as I would have liked to. The sun wipes me out! Anyway, today I am sharing a colourful card featuring some of the new Clearly Besotted Stamps...

For this card I used Clearly Besotted Flower Friends Additions Stamp Set to create the lovely flowers at the bottom. The large bee is from the Balloon Bunch Bugs Stamp Set and the little ones are from the Flower Friends Stamp Set. I coloured each of them with Copics and cut them out. I created a sky background using my MFT Slimline Cloud Edges Stencil and a little Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Ink. I used my Simon Says Stamp CZ DEsign Friends Die to create the layered sentiment. I finished by added a printed sentiment from Time For Teas Brighter Days Sentiment Cards.

Supplies;
Clearly Besotted Stamps - Flower Friends Additions, Flower Friends, Balloon Bunch Bugs
Simon Says Stamp Dies - CZ Design Friends
My Favorite Things Stencils - Slimline Cloud Edges
Distress Oxide Ink - Mermaid Lagoon
Copic Pens

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I will be back very soon with another creation.

Watercolour Hugs

Good morning. Today I am sharing a quick card that I made featuring a splash ink effect. I do love making this type of card, I really must batch make a load of backgrouds so I have them ready...

This card was featured in Crafts Beautiful along with two others which I will share very soon. I created the background by adding some distress ink onto some acetate then spritzing it with water. I then placed the panel directly onto my card and smooched it around with my fingers. I repeated it with each colour, heat drying in between. The Distress Oxide Colours used are Picked Raspberrry, Mermaid Lagoon, Mustard Seed and Twisted Citron. The flowers are Altenew Botanical Rhapsody Washi Tape. I placed the tape onto white card, cut it out and added it onto the card. I added a strip of black stiped paper to the side. I used Birch Press Design Sugar Script Big Hugs Dies for the die cut sentiment. I added some Dew Drop  embellishments to finish.

Supplies;
Altenew Washi Tape - Botanical Rhapsody
Birch Press Design Die s- Sugar Script Big Hugs
Distress Oxide Inks - Twisted Citron, Mustard Seed, Mermaid Lagoon, Picked Raspberry
Striped Patterned Paper

Thank you ever so much for popping by today. I hope you all have a fabulous weekend and I will be back next week with more cards.

Clearly Besotted Teasers Day 5 - Elephant Splat

So it's time for my final Clearly Besotted Card for the June Release. This one was another quick simple one I made last night so again apologies for the lighting, it is a lot brighter in real life, the sun was up early!

For this card I used the Clearly Besotted Fairground Friends Set. I coloured the cute little elephant with Copics and cut him out. I used the Clearly Besotted Splat It Stencil to create the shape then blended Mermaid Lagoon & Twisted Citron Distress Inks over the top. I then stamped the background stamp in Mermaid Lagoon to create a subtle background. I simply stamped the sentiment directly onto the panel to finish.
