Merry Post

Good morning crafty friends. So sorry for the lack of recent posts, I have been super busy but I will be posting more creations as soon as I can. For today's card I used some of the latest stamps from Mama Elephant to create a winter scene...

For this card I used Mama Elephant You've Got Mail Stamp Set. I coloured the images with Copics and cut them out. I created a simple blended background using Uncharted Mariner, Mermaid Lagoon & Salvaged Patina Oxide Inks. I added some water and white ink splats and allowed it to dry. I created some snow hills using my Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Border Dies. I used my Lawn Fawn Forest Border to create the little trees in the background and coloured them with Copics. I added all the pieces onto the card and splattered the whole panel with white ink splats to look like snow. I die stamped & die cut the sentiment using my Pink Fresh Studio Perfect Sentiments - Holiday. To finish I added a few clear gems.

Magical Birthday

Hi crafty friends. It's the start of another new week, these weeks are flying it won't be long until Christmas is here! I started off with the plan of making a Christmas but ended up with this fairy birthday one...

For this card I used my Reverse Enchanted Garden Stamp Set. Absolutely devastated that Reverse Confetti are no longer so sad, their designs were fab. I coloured them with Copics as always and cut them out. I created a simple blended background using Kitsch Flaingo & Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks. I added a few ink splats to the background using some white ink. I created some snow hills using my Time For Tea Slimline Hillside Scene Dies. I stamped the sentiment which is from the same set and added it with the images onto the card. Quite a simple one really which is fun to do as well as more complex cards.

A Poppy Thanks

Good morning crafty friends. I am back today with another Clearly Besotted card but this time I used last months release. With poppy day coming up I thought I would create some cards with a poppy theme...

I kept this design super simple but it is a bit brighter in real life - just tricky to photo & edit in this awful wintery weather! For this card I used Clearly Besotted Blooming Poppy Plushies Stamp Set. I coloured all the images with Copics and cut them out. I created a subtle background using some green and blue inks along with my MFT Slimline Cloud Edges Stencil. I added a strip of stripe paper, a printed sentiment and some heart gems to finish.

Supplies;

Clearly Besotted Stamps - Blooming Poppy Plushies
My Favorite Things Stencils - Slimline Cloud Edges
Distress Oxide Inks - Twisted Citron, Salvaged Patina
Simon Says Stamp Printed Sentiment
