Birthday Bear

Hi all,

Today I am sharing a card that is featured in this months PaperCrafter Magazine. I was asked to create a few cards using some digi stamps by Di's Digi's and here is the first one...

I love these cute bears and they were such fun to colour! I coloured the image using my copic markers and added some glitter to the flower centres. I die cut the image using a stitched dome die.  I added some patterned paper, all mounted onto pink card. I added a flower, bow and sentiment to finish.

Birthday Wishes

Hi all :)

Today I am back with another card! This simple card was made using the lovely Julie's Embroidery Kit by Craftwork Cards. I love her designs and hope she comes back with another brand soon!

Pretty much everything on this card was from the Julie Loves Embroidery Kit. I distressed the edges of all the papers using a distress edge tool and mounted them onto kraft card. I created a flower with the die cuts that came in the kit. I also added some lace and card candi to finish.

The Bright Side

Hi all :)

I hope you are all enjoying the gloriously sunny heatwave! Talking of the sun, I thought I would share this bright sunny creation with you. This card was featured in last months Making Cards Magazine, how cute are these bears?

For this card I used the super cute Playground Pals Stamps by Clearly Besotted Stamps. I coloured them all in with copic pens and die cut them with the coordinating die set. I also used quite a few Die-namics Dies on this card including; Sunny Skies Stitched Cloud Edges, Stitched Hillside and Stitched Scallop Rectangles.

Be Happy

Hi all :)

Today I am back to share with you a card that was made for and featured in last months Crafts Beautiful Magazine...

I had so much fun creating this cutie! I created the background by gently blending some inks together. The stamps I used are Waffle Flower Be Happy and I coloured them all with Copic Pens. I popped them onto the card with foam pads for some extra dimension. The sentiment is also from this set too.

Little One

Hi all :)

Today I am back to share a card that was made for Make Cards Today Magazine. I was asked to create two Bendy Cards, I had not made this shape card so I always love a challenge! Here is card one...

The papers and toppers came with the magazine and are called Little Owl Dreams - how cute are they!? All I added was some white card for the shape card. I will try and find a link to the tutorial for this shape card.

Embroidery Birthday

Hello :)

Sorry I haven't been able to update my blog for a little while. My feet have barely touched the floor, I have been so busy at work. I thought I would share a Craftwork Cards project that I had originally made for Making Cards Magazine but unfortunately as CWC have announced they have ceased trading they won't be able to go into the magazine. So anyway here is card one...

For this card I used the lovely Julie Loves Embroidery Kit. You may still be able to get this from one of their stockists if you are quick! It's a beautiful kit and I decoupaged the flowers to make them pop. I also added some lace, ribbon and twine. I mounted everything onto brown card and used some circular dies for the shape.
