Leaping Lions

Hello crafty people, it's rather gloomy and wet outside so I thought I would share something bright and colourful. This card was recently made for Crafts Beautiful Magazine, how cute are those lions?...
These cute lions are by Reverse Confetti called Leaping Lions. I coloured them with my copics and popped them onto foam pads. The scallop frame is also from Reverse Confetti and I used some Bo Bunny Papers.

I will be back tomorrow with my next card from this project.

Party Girl

Hello Crafty Friends :)
Today I thought I would share one of my quick creations that were made for Making Cards Magazine using the free papers & toppers that came with the magazine. I really loved these Party Girls, such cute designs and lovely girly colours...
So for this card I used the Party Girls Papers & Toppers and mounted them all onto kraft card. I also added some flowers, lace, ribbon, pearls and a die cut sentiment.

I will be back with more creations soon :)

Robot Style Part 2

Hello! I am back today as promised with final two Robots Cards from my project that was made for Quick Cards Made Easy Magazine. I just love these cute robots and am thrilled how they turned out!
For my project I had to create four cards using only main products; Marianne Design Robots Die Set, Papers from Etsy, Embossing Folder & Self Adhesive Gems. I love these challenges and it really does help you get more out of each die. There are so many different robot shapes you can make with these too and how funky are the papers?!

I hope you have enjoyed this project and I will be back soon :)

Robot Style

Hello Crafty Peeps :)
I have been busy behind the scenes working on Christmas magazine stuff... yes can you believe I have almost finished Christmas? That's how far some of the mags work in advance - crazy! Today I am delighted to share with you some fun cards, that's what I love about magazine projects I get to use something I wouldn't always choose or that I haven't seen before...love it when it turns out great too ;)

How cute are these Robots? I created these cards for Quick Cards Made Easy Magazine using Marianne Design Robots Die Set. All the pieces are separate so you can create your own little robots any way you like. The Papers are from Etsy. The embossing folder is by Taylored Expressions, I also added sentiments and gems.

I will be back tomorrow with my other two cards from this project :)

I'm In Hog Heaven

I'm back!! So I've had a little break from blogging for a few weeks, lots going on behind the scenes, magazine work and a bit of crafters block which doesn't help! Today I had fun creating a DT card for My Mums Craft Shop. As you will  know MFT is one of my all time fav companies to work with - so glad that we get to stock these beautiful products..this is using one of the new release piggy stamps..
I am loving creating watercolour effect backgrounds at the moment - they are just so much fun and no two are ever the same. I created the background using distress inks and a water spray. I also flicked some inks onto the background. The stamps are MFT Hog Heaven coloured with Copics and die cut. I die cut the watercolour panel with Die-namics Double Stitched Rectangle Dies. The background was die cut with Die-namics Wonky Rectangles and glued onto a card blank. The sentiment was stamped and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I also added a strip of stripey paper along with a couple of enamel dots.

Catch you all soon :)
