Little Bo Peep

Hello :)
Hope you all had a great weekend, got to say it was lovely to walk to work in the sunshine today. Now we just need that chill to go and it will be a bit warmer! I am back with my final card from my Spring project in Crafts Beautiful Magazine....
So this card uses the same products as the other two - really shows you can create a lovely bundle of different cards using the same products. The topper is Sweet Meadow Wee Stamps Topper by The Hobby House. The papers are by Me To You and also some lace, ribbon, flowers and pearls.

I will be back soon with another creation :)

Lil Robot

I just realised I forgot to upload this little fella that was also included in my Love Robots for Making Cards Magazine. How could I forget this little cutie....
I created the background by brushing on some ink and allowing to dry. I used the I heart you and heart stamps from the stamp set to create the background. The stamps are of course Bionic Bots by MFT Stamps and available in my shop My Mums Craft Shop.

I will be back soon :)

Happy Times Ahead

Hello lovely crafty people!
I hope you had a lovely weekend? I had a bit of housework to do but the rest of the day yesterday I spent catching up on my crafty work - which was bliss! Today is the start of a new project that was recently featured in Making Cards Magazine. I have been itching to show these for ages..they were such fun to makes....
How cute are these Robots? As soon as I saw them I knew exactly what I wanted to do! This was actually my first inky background in this kinda style too. For this card I created the background using Spectrum Noir Aqua Pens a craft sheet and water. I simply coloured the craft sheet with red pens, sprayed with water then placed my watercolour card into the ink. The robots are MFT Stamps Bionic Bots which I coloured with Copic Markers. I also used MFT Scallop Border & Circle Scribbles Dies along with some polka dot paper and heart punches.

I will be back tomorrow with my second card from this project :)

Love You

Hello :)
The sun is sort of shinning here after a horrible wet few days...come on spring sunshine, I want to get in my new garden! Today I am sharing my valentines card that I made for my better half. He always moans how I never make him cards but it's usually b'cos I am so busy making them for everyone else. I decided this year I would actually make him one so here it is...
This one has lots & lots of layers. I didn't use any stamps on this card at all - purely just papers, card & dies! I am not sure of the name of the papers but I am sure it will come to me later. The banner is by Joanna Sheen, the butterflies and love you words are Die-namics. The hearts are Nestabilities and I used also a hearts embossing folder by XCut.

I will be back soon with more creations :)

Downton Abbey

Good Morning,
I hope the sun is shinning where you are today! We have managed to get our new home sorted a bit more still some bits to sort through but almost there now. I have my desk back up now so I am much happier I can escape to my crafting zone. I just thought I would share a vintage card I made recently featuring the very popular Downton Abbey!
Can you believe I actually have never seen it?! I am sure I will end up watching the whole series at some point in the future. Lots of mmy customers are big fans of Downton Abbey so I am sure I will be making more like this. I used the Downton Abbey CD Rom by Crafters Companion. I distressed all the edges of the background papers and added bit of distress ink too. I added some lace and ribbon and some pearls of course.

Missing In Action

I am so sorry that I haven't been able to post much the last few weeks. We moved house yesterday so everything the past few weeks has involved packing - boy do we have a lot of stuff!! So now we get to un pack it  all. We managed to get some done yesterday but it is tricky as we both work full time so it's going to take some time to get done fully. As soon as my desk is back up and running I will sharing all my latest projects again and of course creating this more.

Watch this space.... Kitty xx
