Cards For Men Challenge 5 - Water

Another fortnight has flown by, which means the start of a new challenge at Cards For Men!
Our new challenge for this fortnight is Water, this can be anything inspired by water - sea, animals, boats fish etc.

Hippie Chick

I am loving these Simply Sassy stamps! They are just so adorable!!

I need to get a new camera i think as the colours just don't seem to photograph very well! It does look alot better IRL and shaded too!

I used my lovely new Kaisercraft Paper pad, which was very hippie chickish, so perfect with this image i reckon! The sentiment stamp is one from LOTV, i can see me using these alot! For the design i followed this weeks sketch over at Friday Sketchers.

Daydreaming Ruby

I have been dying to get time to make a card for the past few days...and hurrah Jasmine had a huge sleep so sod the housework it's time to craft, lol!

I have used Daydreaming Ruby, isn't she just the cutest?

I also used my new MME Mabel papers and my luurrrvvly new MFT Scallop Dies! These cut so perfectly..so definitely going to invest in more! The image was cut with Go Kreate dies & flowers are Petaloo Mulberry Street. I am hoping to get more sentiment stamps when i go to a show over the weekend as i don't have many!

TGF Birthday Megan

I finally had a bit of time to create a card!

The last few days have been a bit manic and the next few will be too as its school half term time, but i will try and squeeze in a few cards when possible and i will be posting some blog candy soon! Here is my latest card..

This is one of my new stamps i got on one of my craft trips recently! Its called Megan by The Greeting Farm! Wow these stamps really do stamp so beautifully perfect the first and every time! I also used my fabby new My Minds Eye Papers, there designs just get better all the time!

Lily & Billy Get Tangled!

I took my eldest daughter to see Tangled (new disney rupunzel film) a few weeks ago so you can imagine my excitement when i saw Melissa at Pink Cat Studio was planning to release Lily & Billy Rupunzel Digi Stamps! I just had to have them...all!! I didn't have much time to myself yesterday so this is just a quick card i whipped up whilst jasmine was napping!

Tilly Teacup

I went a bit Stamping Bella crazy on my shopping spree last weekend so expect to see more like this over the next few weeks! This is a nice and simple card which was very easy and quick to put together!

I used Tilly Teacup girl and teamed her up with my lovely My Minds Eye Papers! I used one of my fav nesties, coloured with copicd and a bit of chalk round the edges!

Pillow Talk

I had a bit of a craft shopping spree over the weekend (in my defence it has been a while and i needed cheering up lol!) and i got some lovely bits and pieces..infact loadsa stamps so i will be using these very soon! I also received my new sugar nellie simply sassy stamps! This is the first chance i have had to play with these beauties! So here is my first card using Pillow Talk!

This is my first attempt in ages in trying to do shaded hair although i am quite pleased how it came out as i didn't use a tutorial, just a bit of guess work lol! I do definitely need more colours in copics and promarkers! I love my new swirl die and also my new magnolia die, wanted it for ages!

I love it when a card comes together so quick! Most of mine take ages as i am always faffing about trying to find bits that match or go together and changing it a million times over before sticking it all together! This card was super quick, kept it nice and simple to show off the lovely LOTV image! Everyone loves these don't they...they are just so cute!

I love the Pure Innocence stamps, they are just sooo cute and i must invest in getting some more! Here is a nice bright and funky card i made using the Fairy Girl Stamp Set, such a versatile design too for all occasions!

I love this paper by MME, its sooo cheery!! I got the idea for this card from Stamp Owl..she makes the bestest cards ever..so full credit to her!

Little Claire February Club Stamp Set

Its the beginning of the month which means another new club stamp release!

This months Big Hugs stamp set is sooo cute and contains tons of images and sentiments!

I have made a very simple notecard! I wanted to do something a bit different to my usual style so i went back to basics and just used the stamp..no papers, no flowers...so you can see the cuteness of this stamp!

I 3d'd the mouse and flower to make it pop out from the card and coloured with my lovely copics!

I'm Back!!

Yes it's me, i'm back!!! I had a little break from designing over Christmas and also had some family issues to sort out but i have to say i'm now back in full swing and am super happy again..hurrah, so expect more updates from me! I have been pretty busy catching up on design team stuff but i have managed to squeeze in this creation that i've made for the Lili Of The Valley Challenge and i got to use one of the new fabby releases!

Apologies for the poor photo but there is just no natural light in my place at the moment and it makes it very hard to get a decent picture! I used my lovely new Love Letters Paper Stack that i got in the range the other day...lovely papers similar to DCWV and same quality too! I made the flower using my cuttlebug quilling dies..love them sooo much. I also used my beloved favorite martha stewart punch!
