The Paperbox Review

Hi all,
I am back today to tell you about some gorgeous new products from The Paperbox
They very kindly sent me a lovely box of stunning card to play with. I was delighted when I opened the box, everything was packed beautifully in clear packaging. The envelopes are amazing. They are pearlescent and so such great quality. The Rose Gold ones are my most favourite. These are ideal if you make cards to sell, as they make them look a bit more special. I will be definitely ordering some of these. You can find them in various sizes and colours on their website here.

They sell such a huge range of different type of card. Perfect for using as backgrounds, matting and die cutting. The coloured Matt Card will be my go to card, it's available in such a huge range of colours. The pearlescent card is beautiful too. I always think pearlescent is great for engagement, anniversary and wedding cards as it looks a bit more luxurious. You can find all the card they sell on their website here.

The Paperbox also sell a great range of Card Blanks. As you know I love to put lots of layers and embellishments on my cards so I always need a good weight card blank. These card blanks are 250gsm which is ideal for all types of designs even heavier cards.. They are available in different colours, textures and sizes. You can purchase them with or without envelopes too which is really handy, especially if you want to upgrade to some of the other envelope colours. You can also get matching pearlescent cards and envelopes too.

My overall favourite products from The Paperbox is definitely the Glitter Card. I always struggle to find decent quality glitter card. It's either too thick or too thin, especially for die cutting. I often find the ones that say non shed still have a bit of shed to them. I am so delighted that I have found this Glitter Card it's by far the best I have come across. I am now starting work on my Christmas magazine projects so I know this will come in handy and i will be able to use it with ease. The Glitter Card is available at The Paperbox in so many colours here.

I would thoroughly recommend The Paperbox, all their products have been excellent quality. They have a huge range of products available that are perfect for us crafters who need professional looking cards.

You can find all the products they sell on their website The Paperbox.

Birthday Bus

Hello my lovelies,
Today I am sharing a cute card that is featured in the latest issue of Crafts Beautiful Magazine. I do love creating with super cute stamps and I just had to use these straight away...
For this card I used Avery Elle Birthday Bus Stamp Set. I coloured the images with Copic Pen and cut them all out. I created the background with some distress inks and popped the stamped images on it with foam pads. I used MFT Stitched Rectangle Frames and Stitched Scallop Rectangles Dies. I added a stamped sentiment and mounted onto red card with a strip of striped paper.

I will be back soon,

Slothsome Birthday

Hi all,
Today I am sharing a card that I made with Sunny Studio Stamps. As soon as I saw the new releases I knew I had to have this super cute sloth stamp set....
How adorable are these sloths!? They are super easy to colour too. The stamp set is called Silly Sloths from Sunny Studio Stamps. You can buy these in the UK from Dies To Die For like I did. I coloured them with Copics. I used the Sunny Studio Staggered Circle Die to create the circles. I created the clouds with an MFT Cloud Edge Stencil and Distress Oxides. I also created the blue background with Distress Oxide Inks. I stamped the sentiment and added some Nuvo Drops to finish.

I will be back soon :)

Birthday Wishes

Hi all,
I have been super busy behind the scenes catching up on my magazine work after a hectic Easter break. I have lots of creations to show you over the next few weeks so that's all good. Today I am sharing a card that is featured in the current issue of Crafts Beautiful Magazine...
I am so happy I can share this one as I had such a ball making it! I used som fabulous fun stamps from MFT Stamps called Birth-Yay. I coloured them all with Copics, cut them out and popped them onto foam pads. I created the background with some Distress Inks and I die cut the panel directly using MFT Die-namics Birthday Wishes. I added some striped black and white paper to make the colours pop.

I will be back soon :)

Coolest Hero

Hi all,
Today I am sharing a card that I made for Crafts Beautiful Magazine using the new Shaun The Sheep Collection from Create & Craft...
For this card I used the Shaun The Sheep Join The Flock Dies along with the Charisma Pad. I die cut several layers to create a decoupage 3d effect. I used the Paper Kit for the background and the Topper Kit for the sentiment. I mounted everything onto black card. I threaded some twine through some natural buttons to finish.

Birthday Bear

Hi all,
Today I have a clean and simple card to share with you. I am still on a roll using up my mass of coloured stamped images and this cutie was just sat there waiting to go onto a card...
For this card I used Lovely Panda's by Gerda Steiner Stamps. I coloured him in bear colours to make it a bit different. I used my Copic Pens and cut him out. I created a simple blended background patch with distress oxide inks. I stamped a Your Next Stamp sentiment onto it. I die cut the panel, mounted onto a scallop panel and attached onto a red covered card. I added a fishtail piece of striped paper and Nuvo Drops to finish.

I will be back soon :)
