Hello Friend

Hi all,

Today I am sharing a card that is in the latest edition of Crafts Beautiful Magazine...

For this card I used Hello Bluebird Portrait Pals Stamp Set. I coloured them with Copics and cut them out. The sentiment is a Hello Bluebird Die called Hello Friend. I added a MFT Die-namics Dies Stitched Frame. The background was made with Distress Inks onto watercolour card.

Birthday Bear

Hi all,

Just a quick post from me today as it's my birthday today (getting old now!) so I have a busy day ahead - although some involves working! Here is a quick card that I made for my card sale box using some lovely products from The Paper Boutique...

For this card I used the Happy Days Collection from The Paper Boutique by Creative Crafting World. I mounted everything onto kraft and white card. I added some wooden flourishes, a doily,  ribbon, buttons and gems.

Coffee Happiness

Hi all,

Sorry I haven't updated my blog as much as I normally do. I have been so busy with wedding prep - it's only a few weeks away so now the mad panic sets in! Today I am sharing one of my cards that was made for Making Cards Magazine...

For this card I used lots of lovely MFT products. I used the Coffee Break Stamp Set, I coloured them with Copics and cut them out. I created the background using the English Brick Stencil with some distress ink. I gently brushed some grey ink at the bottom to create a pavement effect.

Summer Toucan

Hi all,

Today I am sharing a quick card that was made for the latest issue of Making Cards Magazine...

For this card I used the fabulous Toucan Papers that came free with the magazine. I fussy cut the toppers out and popped them onto foam pads. The background was made using a MFT Sun Ray Stencil and some Distress Ink. The papers came with the Toucan set and I added a strip of black card. I added some Nuvo Drops to finish.

Party Foxes

Hi all,

On my blog today I have a colourful card that was recently made for & featured in Crafts Beautiful Magazine...

This was made as part of my stenciling project. I created the background using a Heffy Doodle Stencil called Circles Of Life along with Distress Oxides. I added some ink to a die cut circle and popped it in the centre. The cute fox stamps are by Avery Elle called Party Fox. I coloured them with Copics and cut them out. I added a banner, card, gems and sentiment to finish.

Butterfly Trio

Hi all,

Today I am sharing a super clean and simple card that was made for PaperCrafter Magazine. I got to play with fabulous free digi stamps that were designed by Clearly Besotted.

For this card I used the Three Butterflies Digi Stamp. I coloured them with Copics and cut them out. I created the blended background with some distress oxides. I die cut the panel using a Stitched Scallop Rectangle Die and mounted onto blue card. The stamped sentiment is by Hello Bluebird. I added some dew drops to finish.

Let's Have A Coffee Break

Hi all,

Today I am sharing a card that was made for Making Cards Magazine as a part of my Stencil project that is featured in the magazine. I decided to use some gorgeous stamps from MFT...

For this card I used the Coffee Break Stamp Set by MFT Stamps. I coloured the images with Copic Markers and cut them out. I created the sky using the MFT Cloud Edges Stencil along with some distress oxides. I created the hills with distress oxides and die cut them with the Stitched Snowdrift and Grassy Edges Die-namics. I added a stamped sentiment and some gems to finish.

Happy Hedgy

Hi all,

Today I am sharing a quick card that was made using some beautiful new products from The Paper Boutique...

For this cute card I used The Paper Boutique Collection called Happy Days. I love the colours in this collection, so different and warm. How cute is that little hedgehog though! I used the topper from the collection kit along with some coordinating papers. I mounted all the papers onto white card and some matching coloured card. I added a doily, lace, ribbon, gems and a button

Monkeying Around

Hi all,

Today I am sharing a fun card using some cute stamps from Hello Sweetums. I just love all the cute monkeys you get in this set and all the accessories mean you can build so many different scenes...

How cute are those faces, right? These stamps by Hello Sweetums are called Funky Monkeys.  I coloured them all with Copic Pens and cut them out. I created a blended background and subtly added the sun ray using a stencil. I used a Stitched Frame Die by Reverse Confetti and a strip of stripe paper. I embossed the wavy sentiment by Lawn Fawn onto a wavy banner die cut.

Picture Perfect

Hi all,

Today I am sharing a bright colourful card made using some of the brand new releases from My Favorite Things. I couldn't wait to get these cuties stamped up and made into a card...

For this card I used the MFT Picture Perfect Stamp Set and coloured the images with Copic Markers. I used quite a few MFT Die-namics Dies - Photo Botth Strip, Shaker Frame & Captions. I created the background using Distress Inks then stamped a paw print background over the top. I also added some punched stars and gems.

Little Friends Mouse

Hi all,

I'm very excited as there is a brand new release from Lili Of The Valley that is going to be released very soon. It is in fact due to be released tomorrow so you don't have long to wait! I have created this card using one of the new images...

How cute is this little mouse! This one is from the Little Friends Collection which will be available as digi stamps and also rubber stamps. I coloured him with my Copic Pens and the sentiments are also from the new release. The papers I used for this card are from Nitwits and I mounted everything onto kraft card. The lace border is a Tim Holtz Sizzix Die - it is so stunning! I added lots of embellishments on this card.

Don't forget the new release from Lili Of The Valley is released tomorrow!

Slow & Steady

Hi,

Sorry I haven't been posted as much lately. It's just seems to be all go at the moment. It is less than 6 weeks until I get married so that may be something to do with it! Today's card was made for Crafts Beautiful Magazine for my stenciling project...

For this card I used Neat & Tangled Stamp called Slow & Steady. I coloured the images with Copics and cut them out. The sentiments also come with this stamp set so the coordinate perfectly. I created the background using MFT Cloud Edges Stencil with some Distress Oxides. I die cut the grass and blended some distress ink onto it. I finished by adding a die cut fence and an enamel dot.

Flying By...

Hello :)

There has been so many amazing releases from all the best stamp companies at the moment. I think I am gonna have to have a sort out and sell some older ones to make room for all these new ones. Today's card features one of the new stamp releases from Hello Bluebird...

This stamp is called Maverick (like Top Gun!) from Hello Bluebird. I coloured it with Copic Pens and fussy cut it out. I created the background using some Distress Oxides and MFT Sun Ray Stencil. I blended some Distress Oxides onto a die cut grassy piece. I also added a small die cut fence (Retired MFT Die) behind the grass,

Birthday Croc

Hi all,

Today I am sharing a card that is in the latest issue of Crafts Beautiful Magazine. I made this one for a stenciling project, although it is clean and simple it's quite bright in real life...

For this card I used Heffy Doodle Happy Snappy Crocs Stamps and Dies. I coloured them with Copic Pens. I created the background using a MFT Sun Ray Stencil along with Distress Inks. I die cut the panel using a MFT Stitched Rectangle Die. I added a stamped sentiment (from the same stamp set) along with a piece of striped paper.

Let's Go Fly A Kite

I hope you are enjoying the bank holiday today. Sorry I haven't posted for a few days. I have been super busy with work and also it's not long until we get married eeek! Today I am sharing a fun card made using some new stamps from the latest Hello Bluebird release...

For this card I used Hello Bluebird Fly A Kite Stamp Set. I coloured all the images with Copic Pens and cut them out. I created the background with my Distress Oxides (Mowed Lawn & Tumbled Glass). I used a Sun Ray Stencil from MFT along with Mustard Seed Distress Ink to create the sun effect. I also used Lawn Fawn Picket Fence to add a bit more to the background.

Magical Day

Hi all,

Today I am sharing a card using more new stamps i purchased recently, there are just so many cute stamps around at the moment! This one is using a new Neat & Tangled Stamp...

 For this card I used the Neat and Tangled Dream Big Stamp. I coloured the images with Copic Pens and fussy cut them out. I created a subtle blended background with Distress Oxide Inks. I used some MFT Stitched Cloud Edges Dies for the clouds at the bottom. The sentiment is from Hello Bluebird Unicorn Stamp Set. I added some punched stars using glitter card from The Paperbox and mounted onto shimmer and glitter card.

Some Bunny Special

Hi all,

A couple of months back I found a new company called Hello Sweetums. They do the cutest ickle stamps! I waited for the latest release, got my order in and they arrived this week. Naturally I couldn't wait to get them stamped up and made into a card...

For this card I used Hello Sweetums Honey Bunnies Stamp Set. I coloured them with Copics and cut them out. I used a MFT Sun Ray Stencil for the background. I used Lawn Fawn Dies for the grass and mushroom border. The sentiment is also from the stamp set.

I really hope these new stamps will be available to a UK retailer soon - fingers crossed!
