Birthday Bear

Hi all :) 

Today I am sharing one of my cards that was made for last months Making Cards Magazine using the free papers and brand new stamp set! This month the stamps were these super cute bears...

For the background I used the free papers and mounted them all onto kraft card. I used one of the bear stamps and the balloon stamp. I coloured them with my copic markers an drew a border around them. I added a stamped sentiment and finished off with lace and a pearl.

Funky Flares

Hi all :) 

Today I am sharing a little sneak peek of the next release at Lili Of The Valley. There are so many fabulous new designs coming soon, I can't wait to share them with you. Up first is a 1970's image called Funky Flares...

I love this fun design - it's so refreshing to see some different designs and these decades images are perfect! I used the Simply Print Funky Flares for the topper and also decoupaged it with another layer. The papers are by Craft Sensations Dots & Stripes - one of those £1 paper packs available in The Works or The Range. I mounted everything onto Kraft Card and die cut a banner too. I added some flowers, a stamped sentiment and some pearls to finish.

Don't forget the new release will be available on Monday 3rd April.
There will be Simply Print Sheets and also Digi Stamps too.

Happy Mother's Day 2

Hi all, I hope you all had a lovely weekend - the weather was gorgeous!

Today I am sharing another Mother's Day card - this one I actually made for my Mum so now I can share it...

For this card I used one of the stunning Simply Print images from Lili Of The Valley. This one is called Peonies & Roses, beautiful isn't it? I die cut it using a stitched circle die and mounted it onto a doily. The papers are by Nitwits which are all mounted onto white card. I also added some ribbon, lace, pearls and a stamped sentiment.

Happy Mother's Day

Hi all :) 

Some of the mum's at my daughters school asked me to create some mother's day cards for them so I have been busy batch making - something I rarely ever do but I actually loved it! It's amazing how much faster it is some you have a design in place and just need to redo it each time. I did make them a little different though but only slightly :) I decided to go with this beautiful garden image from Lili Of The Valley.. 

 I printed out the image onto linen card to give it some nice texture - it really makes the colours bright too. The image is Simply Print Spring Watering Can. I used a Die-namics Die to cut out the image. The papers are by Nitwits and the sentiment is from a Me To You Stamp Set. I mounted all the papers onto white card, added some pearls, ribbons and some flowers to finish.

Congrats To You

Hi all :) 

I am back today with another card I have made for Little Claire Designs, this time it's a New Home card...

For this card I used the Up The Garden Path Stamp Set but instead of adding the pat too I just used the house image on it's own. I coloured this up with my copic markers. The papers are a paper pad that I bought from The Range - a bargain at £1! I also added a doily, paper flowers, ribbons, pearls and sentiment.

Big Hugs

Sorry I have been missing in action for a little while. I have ha no craft mojo but I think it is slowly coming back so fingers crossed I have it back soon :) Today I am sharing one of my cards I made for Little Claire Designs that was made with one of the new stamp sets...

The stamp set I used is called Hugs and is packed full of fabulous images. I coloured my images with Copics and paper pierced the umbrella. The papers are by Kaisercraft and I added some ribbon, gems and a pearl heart.

Today I am sharing another card that was in last months Making Cards Magazine...

This is another one of the samples using the freebie toppers and papers. All I added to this one was some ribbon, coloured card and gems. The sentiment was stamped using the freebie sentiment set.

I hope to be back soon, my crafting mojo has gone awol, so if you see it please send it onto me...not crafting is driving me mad!

Love Cupcake

Hello all :) 

Today I am sharing a new card that was recently in Quick Cards Magazine. I was asked to create some cupcake shaped cards using some of the new Dovecraft Collections and here is my first one...

I created the shape using a template (which is in the mag!). The papers are the XOXO Collection by Dovecraft. I also used the matching chipboard stickers and glitter hearts. I dusted the edges with some red ink and added some white gel pen dots around the top of the cupcake top. I also added some lace, ribbon and pearls.

Today I am sharing one of my makes from last months Making Cards Magazine, this one was one of the free toppers idea cards...

I wsa really impressed with these papers and toppers - I think they are really different and beautiful. The topper and papers are the freebie ones that came with the magazine. I mounted them onto black and silver card. The sentiment is one of the free sentiment stamps that also come with the magazine. I also added some ribbons and pearls to finish.

Sweet Pea

Today I am back with a card that was in last months Crafts Beautiful Magazine. I loved creating this card as I just love LOTV images.

For this card I used the Sweet Peas Digi Stamp from Lili Of The Valley. You can also get this as a rubber stamp too. I coloured the image with my copics and mounted it onto card. The papers are by Nitwits an I also added lace, pearls and a sentiment to finish.

Sorry for the lack of posts recently - we had a super busy weekend in London so I am now playing catch up! So today I am sharing a card that was in last months Making Cards Magazine...

For this card I used the freebie toppers that came with the magazine. I mounted them all onto brown card and stamped the sentiment onto brown card too. The magazine also came with some sentiment stamps too which I used here. I also added some flowers, gems and ribbon.

A New Adventure

Have you seen all the brand new releases from Lili Of The Valley? There are brand new rubber stamps, digi stamps and simply print sheets too. Here is my first card using of the Simply Print Sheets...

The new images are so beautiful with so much detail. The simply print sheets have been coloured beautifully - I could never colour that good! This one is called A New Adventure. I printed this onto linen card not that you can tell in the picture but it gives the image a real nnice textured effect. I created the flowers using some Sue Wilson Dies and also a MFT Pierced Flourish Die. I also added some pearls, a square doily and a sentiment to finish.

Easter Cuties

Hi all :) 

Today I am back with my latest creation for Lili Of The Valley using their new Simply Print Images, how cute are these little chicks for Easter? 

For this card I used the Lili Of The Valley Simply Print Easter Cuties which I die cut using a Double Stitched Rectangle Die. The papers are by Dovecraft and the flowers are Sue Wilson Dies. I printed out the sentiment and also added some pearls.
