Snowman Gift Giving

Hi all :) 

Hope you are all having a lovely New Years Eve! We have spent the last few days at home relaxing in our jammies but it will soon be back to normal, work and school for us all. Now that the new edition of Making Cards is now out I can share some of my makes from the last edition...

How lovely are these images? As soon as I saw them they instantly reminded me of a Christmas advert. This card was created using the freebie papers that come free with the magazine. This time they also came with little tree toppers which you can cut out and use as embellishments. I then added some gems and a die cut sentiment to finish.

Merry Christmas

Hello all :) 

I am back today with another Christmas creation. This one was made using the Craftwork Cards Christmas Cheer Collection :)

I used the 8x8 paper pack and the say it with words pad for the main sentiment topper. I also used the die cut flowers and ribbon bow from the collection kit. I added an embossed panel to the background and added some glitter too.

Christmas Wishes

Hello all :) 

Sorry I haven't had been around since before Christmas. On the 23rd I ended up very ill and this basically has wiped me out until now. I always love Christmas so it was awful having the dreaded sickness bug the whole time but never mind - there's always next year! I seem to be on the mend now so I thought I best share my last few Christmas makes...

This one was made for last months Making Cards Magazine. I used the gorgeous Christmas Wishes Collection by Kaisercraft available from Merly Impressions. I used the Paper Pad & Die Cuts from this range - I absolutely love this range it's gotta be my fav xmas range this year! I also added some lace, gold glitter, gems and a white doily.

Oh Holy Night

Hello there an Happy Christmas Eve Eve!! Only two more sleeps now until the big day. Today I am sharing another winter make that was made for Paper Crafter Magazine.

 This card is my second from my winter wonderland project. I used the stunning Frosted Collection by Kaisercraft. I used 12x12 papers, die cuts and stickers. I distressed each of the papers using a distress edge tool. I also added some pearls and ribbons.

Merry Christmas

Only four more sleeps until it's Christmas Day!! It's my absolute favourite day of the year and I really can't wait! So today I am sharing a quick make made for Making Cards Magazine using the latest Docrafts Santa Collection....

For this card I used the Santa Die Cut & Paper Pack which has loads of toppers, decoupage, papers, borders and more. I mounted everything onto kraft card. I also added some ribbon and gold pearls.

Magic Of The Season

Good Afternoon :) 

I'm still feeling poorly, but am battling on through trying to get the house ready for Christmas! Today I am sharing a card that was made for PaperCrafter Magazine. Love the cool icy tones in this range....

  

This card was created using the Kaisercraft Frosted Collection. I used the 12x12 papers and stickers for this card. I also added a doily, glitter washi tape, pearls, gems, ribbon and a snowflake button. How lovely are the images?! I think this range is just stunning. I have more from this project to share soon so do pop back :)

Winter Wishes

Good Afernoon :)

I am feeling a bit sorry for myself at the moment as I'm suffering with a terrible sore throat ad flu type thing. It seems to have gone to my chest now so hoping it doesn't turn into a chest infection although I think it may have already. I will still plough through though as so much to do! Today is another card that was made for Quick Cards Made Easy Magazine....

For this card I used Sizzix Tim Holtz Festive Scribbles & Holiday Words. The papers are by Dovecraft and I also added some gems to finish.

Baking Gingerbread

Today I thought I would share my second card from my Dear Santa project that was in last months Making Cards Magazine. How sweet are these images....

For this card I used the Dear Santa Collection by Trimcraft. I used the paper pack , decoupage pad, ribbons and wooden embellishments. I mounted all the papers onto kraft card. I also added a die cut sentiment and some pearls to finish.

Tree Decorating

I can't believe this time next week it will be Christmas Eve! It seems like it has all of a sudden just crept up on us all. I still have a few Christmas creations to share with you so here is another. This one was made for Making Cards Magazine....

For this card I have used the latest Dear Santa Collection by Trimcraft. I used the paper pack, decoupage pad and also the garland flags. I mounted all the papers onto kraft card. I also added some lace, ribbon, a bow, some gems, a sentiment and pearls.

Let It Snow

Hi all :) 

I am almost ready for Christmas now. Just a couple of little bits to get and I am done, woohoo! I am so happy it's the last day of school for Jazz today, can't wait to spend some time with her and have a much needed rest from school. So onto today's card...this was made for Crafts Beautiful....

How cute is this winter image? It's actually a pre coloured topper by Marianne Design called Don & Daisy In The Snow. The papers are Carta Bella Bundled Up and I added some ribbon, flowers, a sentiment, pearls and a doily. This project is over on the Crafts Beautiful website too.

Ho Ho Ho!

Hello :) 

Time to share something fun and bright! This colourful card was made for Crafts Beautiful Magazine using one of the latest Doodlebug Collections :) 

I love how this card turned out! I used the Here Comes Santa Paper Pad, Matt Enamel Dots and Die Cuts all available from My Mums Craft Shop. I also added some glitter to the hills and some twine for the bunting. You can see how I made this one by heading over to the Crafts Beautiful website.

Today I am sharing a simple card that was made for Quick Cards Made Easy Magazine. I was challenged to create a few cards using some Christmas dies so here is the first card...

For this card I used the Sizzix Tim Holtz Festive Scribbles Dies & Tim Holtz Holidays Words Dies. I distressed the background panel and added some pearls. The papers are by Dovecraft and were all mounted onto kraft card. I also added some ribbon to the corners to finish.

Tree Dress Avery

Hi Crafty Friends :)

Today I am sharing a card that I made for last months issue of Quick Cards Made Easy Magazine. this cutie was made for the Sketch Challenge with a Christmas theme :) 

For this card I used one of the Paper Nest Dolls images called Tree Dress Avery. I coloured her up with my Copics. The papers are by Dovecraft which were all mounted onto kraft card. I also added some ribbon, a doily , sentiment and some pearls.

 This card was made using the new Santa Collection by Docrafts. I used the Die Cut & Paper Pack for this card which contained the papers, topper and sentiment. I mounted them all onto kraft card. I also added some ribbon and gold pearls.

Hello crafty friends :) 

As you know I work many months in advance for the magazines so I am loving being able to share all my Christmas creations finally! Today's card was featured in last months Crafts Beautiful Magazine and was the main front cover card :) 

This card is a lot more my 'usual style' which of course means stamps & dies! I used Sugarpea Designs Christ-moose Stamp Set. The papers are an older Echo Park Paper Pack. I used the Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics and Double Stitched Circles Dienamics. I also added some ribbon and lace to finish.

Santa & Teddy

Crikey the days are whizzing by at the moment, seems like I will blink and it will be Christmas! Today I am sharing a card I made for Crafts Beautiful Magazine....how cute is this Santa & Teddy?

I used a super cute topper from one of the Hunkydory Little Books. I layered a few of the toppers up with foam pads to create a decoupage topper. The papers I used are by Dovecraft and I mounted them all onto dark red card. I also added a sentiment, ribbon, bow and pearls.

Christmas Wishes

Hi all :) 

I hope you are all busy making your Christmas cards if you haven't already? I'm happy to be able to share them now as I've been making them since May! So this one was made for Making Cards Christmas Special which is packed full of freebie papers and toppers...

 

I love the traditional look and feel of these toppers and papers. I die the topper with some stitched dies and mounted it onto a scallop circle die. I mounted everything onto red and green card and added some ribbon. I die cut the holly leaves and added some leaves and berries I found in my stash. I finished by added a sentiment and some gems.

Christmas Baubles

Good morning :) 

It's very chilly now isn't it?! As long as it's not raining, I am happy tho! So I have another couple of Christmas cards to share with you. These two were made for Quick Cards Made Easy Magazine...

I was asked to create four cards using the Sara Davies Traditional Christmas Collection by Crafters Companion so these are the first two. For both the cards used the Bauble Stamps which I embossed with gold embossing powder. I also used the 6x6 paper pad. I mounted the papers onto kraft card and added some ribbon, twine and pearls.
