Amazing

Good evening :)
Another lovely sunny day today and although I have had a busy weekend with the family I am back to busy work this week. I have been busy with magazine commissions today, I can't wait to show you some of them! So today I am sharing my second card from my sentimental project in Making Cards Magazine...
For this card I used the My Story Paper Pad from My Minds Eye. I also used some of the 12x12 papers which has the words across them, I cut them out and used them as the main sentiment. I also used the matching die cuts and mounted everything onto black card. I added some pearls to finish.

Thanks for stopping by :)

Heart

Hello Fellow Crafters :)
Today I thought I would share one of my cards that was in last months Making Cards Magazine. I wanted to show the readers that you can use journaling cards for cards too - not just journaling & scrapbooking. So here is card number one...
This collection has really fab colours and lots of on trend gold foiling. I used the My Minds Eye My Story Papers for the backgrounds and also the matching journaling cards. I cut out the butterfly and the heart word from one of the background papers. I also added some ribbon & pearls to finish.

I will be back soon :)

Thank You

Hello crafty peeps :)
Today I thought I would share another one of my Ranunculus creations that were recently in Quick Cards Made Easy Magazine. This is card number three, still love how all these turned out...
I created the background on this card using a triangle stencil. I brushed some lilac distress ink through the stencil using a stencil brush. The stamps are Hero Arts You're So Lovely and they were die cut using the matching dies. The purple stamp was inked using the Hero Arts Ombre Ink Pad - love the effect of those, I must invest in some more! I finished by adding some rhinestones to the flower centres.

Thanks for stopping by :)

Steve The Seagull

Hello, I'm back!!! It's been a busy few days so sorry I haven't had time to update my blog. I will be posting lots over the next week so hopefully I will catch up again. Today I thought I would share one of my cards from Making Cards Magazine that was made using the freebie papers...
How cute is this seagull? I mean they aren't normally that cute, right? So for this card I used the free papers that came with the magazine. I cut out the shells from one of the larger background papers and used them as embellishments. I also added some pearls, ribbon and die cut sentiment.

Fairy Tale

Sorry I didn't get around to posting this one yesterday. We ended up at the beach again yesterday - well it would be daft to not make the most of the sun, right?! So here is my second Unicorn Card from Making Cards Magazine...
I created the background in the same way as before - lots of water along with some distress markers onto acetate then straight onto watercolour card. The stamps & dies are all by My Favorite Things. I used Magical Unicorns Stamp & Die Set, Stitched Cloud Edges and Wonky Edge Rectangle STAX. I coloured the cute images with copics and added a bit of glitter. To finish I added some pearls and glitter tape.

Have a lovely day, we are off to Weymouth Carnival for the day :)
I will be back tomorrow :)

I created this card using a Hunkydory Kit from the Garden Secrets Collection. I mounted the background paper onto lilac card and added some card candi along with a ribbon bow to finish.

Congrats

Hello Crafty Peeps!
I am so sorry I haven't had a chance to update my blog for a few days. I have been spending most my time with my girls in between working and I have to say it's been a lovely few days! Today we nipped down to Weymouth and tomorrow we are off to London bright & early! So onto today's card....
This card was made for my Diamonds project in Quick Cards Made Easy magazine. When i first saw these dies I knew the smaller diamond would look great as an engagement ring! The dies are Die-namics Diamonds which were die cut in silver mirri card and onto glitter card. I also used the Celebratory Greetings Dies for the words. I also used some heart paper, heart embossing folder, ribbon, gems and a pearl heart.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges;

Real Gem

Hello again :)
Another busy day for us again, we had a lovely day out in Southampton! Couple of new outfits for my girls so they are happy. I got home to find some new crafty bits have arrived for me too so it's good all round. Today I am showing my second card that was in Quick Cards Made Easy for my Diamonds project....
For this card I thought I would go for the on trend watercolour style. I created the background using my distress inks, water spray and watercolour card. I die cut the MFT Diamonds Die from silver mirri card and mounted them onto vellum. The sentiments are Bling It On by MFT. I also added some self adhesive rhinestones to finish it off.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today, hope you had a lovely day and I will catch you all soon :)
