Butterfly Pen Pot

I don't know where the time has gone recently, i cannot believe it's almost August! I have been having a major craft & house tidy so i haven't been doing my crafting plus it is so hot at the moment it just make me sleep but least i am getting a good tan!  Today i have a 3d project to show you. I fancied doing something a bit different as i have been doing so much behind the scenes work for magazines and its all been christmas. I actually made this for my fellas mum as she loves butterflies!
It is actually a MDF pen pot that i got from the MDF Man from one of the shows this year. I covered it with Lilac Acrylic Paint and then covered the panels with buttefly papers. This collection is called Time Flies and is from Craftwork Cards. I also added some ribbon and die cut butterflies that i propped up on a stick to make it a bit more interesting.

The best news is she loved it and it matches with her bedroom colours, but she did say its too nice to use. I take that as a compliment though ;)

Thanks for stopping by today :)

Welcome Baby

I am back again with another creation, this time a clean and simply easy one that i had to make for a commission. One of the other shop owners on the estate where i work had a little boy so i was asked to make a card for her arrival. I was quite short on time so i whipped this up...
The image is from a Lili Of The Valley Topper Sheet that i have had for a while and completely forgotten about! There was two of this size image on the sheet so i cut out the image from one so i could make it more 3d with an extra layer. The papers are a mix of Doodlebug & Pebbles Inc that i have had for yonks. The sentiment is from a MFT Onesie Stamp Set. I then added some gems, ribbon, button and twine to finish.

Thanks for popping by today :)

Vintage Train

Hello i am back today with my monthly creation for Vilda Stamps.
Today i have a vintage steam train card to show you. I got rather inky creating this!
I created the background by using Distress Inks in Walnut Stain & Tea Dye. I then stamped the crackle stamp from the Scrap & Mixed Media Kit 1 V741. I then stamped some tickets from the Inch Kit V720. I also used the train from this set too for the main image, the sentiment and the postal stamp. The cogs i stamped are from the Coggwheel Kit V467. I simply added a bit of black ribbon and mounted everything onto black card.

You can find all the stamps used on this card from Vilda Stamps.

What a glorious weekend of weather we had this week and hopefully it will continue this week too! Our family household decided to make the most of it with a trip to the beach, we all even went in the sea too, it was so much fun and the girls just loved it. I decided last night i fancied doing a bit of crafting to cool down so i reached for my fav company stamps...MFT of course....
For this card i used some fabulous My Minds Eye Papers called Find Your Wings. I used loads of MFT products, Blissful Butterflies Stamps and Dies, Leaf Filled Flourish, Bold Sentiments (out on wednesday!), Washi Tape Patterns & Dies and Botanical Beauty. See told ya i love MFT!

All the products are available at My Mums Craft Shop but if any are sold out please email the shop and we can order them in for you.

Winter Snowball

Sorry i am running late, i thought i was early today but apparently i lost a whole lot of time this morning between nursery and work, eeek!
It's new release time over at Little Miss Muffet, woohoo i just love new release time and we are so lucky it happens every other week :) Also other news both of the collections today are available in digi and rubber, so you can choose which you prefer! Here is my card...
So for my card i decided to use Fancy Sunbonnet Winter Snowball. Such a super cute images too! I coloured her up with my copics and the papers are the new Spots & Stripes Festive. I made the little snowflakes with a punch and added lots of glitter although that didn't come out too well. Although i have only just noticed one of my red pearls has come off before i took the photo, oooooops! I will need to hunt him out and stick him back on!

Make sure you check out all the new releases and also all the new release inspiration!

Dreamees have just launched there first collection of Christmas Stamps, there 6 new stamp designs and also a CD too. I just had a play with the new O Christmas Tree Set....
The papers are from the Christmas Essentials CD and i stamped the O Christmas Tree three times and decopaged the middle one to make it stand out. The sentiment also comes on the stamp set which is available for only £3. I used the edge of the tree stamp to do the edge.
