Butterflies

Hello my lovely readers! 

I have some news, My Mum's Craft Shop have just found a new unit/premises yay! So if i am a bit absent from my blog and crafting for a bit you know why :) Exciting times ahead!

So on with my usual post for Little Miss Muffet. Today i used one of the gorgeous Swings N Slides images, i just love these they are so cute and so nice to colour....

This is Swings N Slides Butterfly.. one of my favourite images at Little Miss Muffet. I coloured her with my Copics and the papers are one of the new Doodlebug Paper Pads, the names escapes me. I also added some twine, pearls and i punched some dinky butterflies.

You Are Loved

Today i have a card i made at one of our recent Demo's at our Open Days! i was demoing paper piercing then went onto to create this spring looking card for our Echo Park week over at MMCS...

The paer are of course Echo Park Sweet Little Girl, such a gorgeous paper pad perfect for spring/summer too. The sentiment also was in this paper pack i just cut it up and mounted it onto kraft card. The image is Doodle Garden Sweet Friend.. i am still loving this stamp range! I coloured her partly with Copics and paper pierced her outfit using papers from the pack.

Heart Balloon Girl

It's Friday and time for a new challenge over at Polkadoodles. This week our challenge theme is Embossing, this can be wet or dry embossing in anyway you like :) You don't have to use any polkadoodles products to enter but we do love it when you do! I have been so short on time lately so i have made a clean and simple card...

This is one of the new Time For Tea Digi's called Heart Balloon that are available exclusivly at Polkadoodles. I coloured her in with Copics, infact some of my pens ran out doing this just typical!! The paper is from the Gingerbread Twist CD - see you can use xmas for all year round. The flower is cut using a Dienamics Botanical Beauty Die and i embossed using a Swiss Dot Embossing Folder. I also added some buttons, ribbon, twine and rhinestones.

Happy Easter

It's Thursday and time for a new challenge over at Little Miss Muffet! This week our challenge is 'Happy Easter' as Easter is literally just around the corner, where does the time go eh?!

Here is my creation...

For my card i used the uber cute Celeste Egg Hunt, she's sooo cute i think. I coloured her with my copics which all seem to be running out at the moment so major panic! The papers are Docrafts Kraft Notes 6x6 Papers as is the sentiment & ribbon/bow. They have such a lovely nice pastel spring feel to them. I also added some paper flowers and a few pearls.

If Friends Were Flowers...

Hello lovely readers :)

Gosh i don't know where the time is going at the moment and its already gone mid march!

I have whipped up a super simple creation today using Picknix Vol 1 CD....

I built up all the layered and arranged them in Craft Artist. When i was happy with it i simply printed it out and mounted into onto kraft card. I then added a few gems and a dash of ribbon.

Perfect if you need to create a super fast card :)

Fluttering By

Today i have a card that i made for My Mum's Craft Shop using one of the fabby new Doodle Garden Stamps from My Favorite Things. These are fast becoming one of my fav charactor stamps at the moment infact i think i have most of them already lol!!

This is Fluttering By isn't she just sooo cute!  I coloured her with Copics and paper pierced her dress. The papers are My Mind's Eye - Notable. I love the bright citrus colours in this pad they are lovely. I simply added some pearls and a couple of lil wooden hearts which i covered with glitter.

Gorjuss For You Card

Hello everyone, sorry i haven't been around too much lately life has been a bit hectic and i totally need more hours in the day! I should be back on track next week though hurrah. Here is my latest creation using the fabulous new Gorjuss range from Docrafts....

For my card i started off by using one of the A6 Gorjuss Cards. The papers and die cut are from the Ultimate Die Cut & Paper Pack. I also used the new Gorjuss Craft Tape, Gorjuss Twine, Gorjuss Bows, Metal Brads and one of the free mini buttons from the Creativity Magazine.

Meet Lavender...

Hello and welcome to my usual weekly post for Little Miss Muffet. Today we have a mini release woohoo and we are also showcasing the last release again too as there are just so many lovely images you wouldn't want you to miss out on them :) Here is my card...

This is Lavender, isn't she soo cute! This is one of the new mini releases which you can find in the store under what's new, also all the other fabby images are there too! I used up some old papers i think they are Echo Park Springtime. I added lots of flowers and a Magnolia Heart Flourish Die. The button and crochet flower is by Papermania and the sentiment is Lili Of The Valley.

Sending Smiles

Hello and welcome to my usual weekly post for My Mum's Craft Shop. This week we have a themed week and are showcasing MFT aka My Favorite Things products, which are pretty much my favourite brand of stamps and dies, so i am loving this week!

So this is one of the fabby Doodle Garden Stamps this one is Springtime Wishes. I LOVE her i think she is one of my al time fav stamps, she is a joy to colour too. I coloured her with my Copics and all the papers are My Mind's Eye Memorable (loving this paper right now!). The flower is a Dienamics Botanical Beauty. I also add some ribbon, twine, buttons, pearls & some wooden hearts to finish.

Fiona Fairy

Hello my lovely readers & followers!

Today i have a card i have made for Vilda Stamps....

The fairy is V65 Fiona Fairy. Isn't she gorgeous? I coloured her with my Copics and added lots of glitter to her wings. The papers are by Prima, dies by Spellbinders and punches by Martha Stewart. I added lots of glitter and flowers too.

Just Because Bear

It's time for a new challenge over at Polka Doodles Challenges today and this week our challenge is Distressing. So this can be paper distressing, using distress inks or distress looking papers, anything that makes you think distressed really. Here is my DT creation....

So for my creation i decided to go for some distressed looking papers and i also did a bit od paper edge distressing although this pic doesn't show that overly well. The papers are from Picknix Vol 1 and the image & sentiment are from Sundae Of Seasons. I also added some Dew Drops too!

It's Retro Chester Time

It's Thursday and of course it's new challenge time over at Little Miss Muffet. This fortnight our challenge is Boys Only so we wanna see some cards for boys, kids or the men in our lives! Little Miss Muffet has a whole host of boys stamps available in rubber and digi but i went for my favourite, of course it's Retro Chester....

 I coloured Retro Chester with my Copics and the papers are the new Echo Park All About A Boy. The zig zag is a Martha Stewart Punch i have had for yonks! I also added some lurvly buttons of course too. I used the sketch from this weeks Sketch Saturday Challenge.

Kraft Notes Quickie

Welcome to my Docrafts post for the week. I thought i would still try and share something will you all incase you aren't in the Creativity Club and don't get to see my exclusive docrafts creations. You still have time to enter my giveaway to win a Docrafts Subscription though so don't forget to enter that!

Everything i have used on this card is available from Docrafts Stockists. This is from the new Kraft Notes range which i love and what is not to love it's gorgeous! The papers and topper are from the Ultimate Die Cut & Paper Pack. I also used the Ribbons, Ribbon Bows & Felt Flowers..omg those flowers are the nicest ever, can see me needing a ton of them!

A Jofy Card

Hello and welcome to my usual weekly post for My Mum's Craft Shop. We have had so many new products in lately (and more on the way) it's hard to choose what to use! I have had the new PaperArtsy Jofy Stamps sat on my desk for about a week waiting to be used and finally i thought yes now is the time!

OMG i knew i would love these stamps, i have so many more ideas for them too. This is the Jofy 09 Set. I love that they are simple and quirky and they don't need much else than a dash of colour to look fab.. i am thinking i might do a canvas with these next time. To create the background i just used some adirondack inks and a dreamweaver brush. I wanted it nice and pastel to make the flowers show up more. The sentiment also comes in this set which is all ez mounted already too!

Dreamees Inky Tag

Hello, i hope you all had a fabulous weekend, i have been busy crafting and sorting out my craft room/craft area, it was such a big job but thankfully it's done for now, bet i make it a mess within a few days though! Today i have another inky tag that i have made for Dreamees, it's nice and bright though...

I created the background using some Tim Holtz Distress Inks and water, i also used a couple of stencils. All the stamps on this tag are by Dreamees. I used Silhouette Butterfly Stamp Set & Swirl Vine Stamp.Did you know you can pick up both these stamps for only £4.50, a total bargain!

Cupcake Cards

Well last night despite being up really early i couldn't actually sleep so i decided to just sit at my desk and create something simple. I was actually tired but not tired enough to sleep so i knew colouring and concentrating would be out of the question. I bought a few bits from the Dovecraft Cupcake Boutique Collection just to make up some quick cards so i decided to go along with that and here is what i came up with...

 I know they are really simple but i think they are kinda cute. Pretty much everything on these is from the Cupcake Boutique Collection. I have used the Decoupage Pad, 6x6 Papers, Sentiment Toppers and ohhh those gorgeous Resin Flowers! I am sooo loving these resin flowers that are popping up everywhere although this is the first time i have actually used them. I seem to like collecting things at the moment.

Right i best go and do some more work and then take the kids out :)

Farnborough Stash!

I have been working my socks off lately, lots of late night and working weekends, mostly behinds the scenes stuff and mag work so yesterday i had a well deserved day off. Of course it had to involve craft so i went to the Make It Show at Farnborough. We normaly exhibit at this show but we didn't this year but i still wanted to go as it's normally a fab show and yes yet again it was awesome! There were quite a few companies i spotted with fab stuff.. seeing as i only actually needed glue this is what i came back with... oops!

As you will see when it comes to shows i seriously i have no self control!! I might not be going to the NEC now so i thought i would make the most of it incase i can't go! Loads of stamps and alterable things of course and a few dies and some embellies too!! Can't wait  to get playing with it all. I have been trying to tidy my craft area and for once i can see my desk, hurrah!!

MMCS Challenge Spring

It's the first of the month already, wow this year is zooming by! It of course means the start of a new challenge over at My Mum's Craft Shop Monthly Challenges. This time our challenge is.. SPRING HAS SPRUNG, so we want to see spring images or spring colours..anything that reminds you of spring basically! Here is my card....

I have used one of the gorgeous new Wild Rose Studio Printed Panels Blackberry Lane. They are just such gorgeous images i can't play with the stamps too. I teamed this up with some very spring pastel papers by My Minds Eye called Memorable. I did used a fair bit of distress inks on this as i wanted it to be a bit more vintagy looking and almost forgot it was meant to be spring lol. The flower die is by Memory Box and i used a Tonic Punch for the border. I also added some flowers and of course some gems, ribbon & button.
