Pretty Bunnies

I wanted to make something pretty and cute and here it is!
I just love lili of the valley - we all do, don't we!? The bunnies are just the cutest, ok so i cheated and used a die cut square but hey that's ok sometimes right :)
I have used the gorgeous Bo Bunny Crazy Love Papers... i love this set, such cute sutble colours! I know it's more of a valentines/love set but it's really useful for all sorts really, i love it!
I also used my favourite Martha Stewart Punches Lace Hearts & 3 In 1 Butterflies.
The swirl is a sizzix die. I finished it off with Card Candi, Prima Flowers, Roses, & Stickles!

Been A Long Time....

OMG It has been ages since i updated my blog so apologize to all my followers... i have been a bad blogger!! Now i have settled into the new shop etc i am hoping too get creative a bit more and show you more cards more often - i have missed my crafting!!
So here is a nice simple card using the fabulous new WRS Mia Stamps
I kept the design very simple to show off the fabulous products!
This stamp is Sleigh Ride it's so cute, i love it!!! I coloured it with my fabby copics and teamed them up with the gorgeous new WRS Traditional Paper Pack (we do have more on the way!)
To finish i added some cute lil Card Candi, a dash of ribbon & a Mini Message!

I have a few more Mia cards to show you over the next few days and lots of other new bits n pieces i have been working on too :D

Nitwit Christmas

Well Christmas is coming so i thought i had better make a start on doing some Christmas bits and preparing for some Christmas classes for the shop!
So what better way to start than with the fabulous Nitwits Christmas ranges!!
Here i have made a card, an easel card & also a post it note holder...
This range is called Deer Friends and is available at our shop My Mum's Craft Shop, in store and online! I used the Die Cut Embellishments & matching Papers. I also added a bit of Bazzill Cardstock, an embossing folder, Kraft Card, Card Candi, Liquid Pearls & Glitter.
We hope to have this as a class in our shop very soon, so watch this space!

Cakey Mice

I'm back as promised (altho a day late but hey ho!).
Here is the other card i made for Rose's birthday as promised :D
This is the one i made from us so i made it proper girly and cute!
I used my fav combo - LOTV mice and Dovecraft Tea House papers - they have tons of cakey and cupcake piccies on so completely perfect with this image!
I coloured the image with my copics, then added lots of lil Cherry Blossoms. I also added lots of Stickles altho you can't see it too well in this picture. To finish i added some Card Candi, dash of ribbons & a Mini Sentiment.

Cutsie Bear

Yes it's me i'm back and with a card...shocking i know!!!!
Well it's my boyfriends mum's birthday today so yeah guess what i spent yesterday doing....yes making cards!! I had to make two cards one from her husband and one from us, so here is the one i made from her husband and hopefully i'll you the other one tomorrow!
I made this one quick and simple as i don't have much lovey dovey stuff and plus i was so busy in the shop i didn't have time to do much as i would normally!
Isn't this cute?! I have been dying to use this lil cute bear for ages, it is of course a LOTV Square, just love them and perfect for when your in a hurry!
The papers are all Echo Park Country Drive. I then added a strip i made using a MS Lace Heart Punch, some dinky flowers, ribbon & a Magnolia Swirl. I also added some liquid pearls & a mini message to finish.

MAWTT Challenge 109 - Brand Spanking New

Naughty naughty me....completely forgot to post my card earlier!!!!
Silly thing is, this time i actually had it made early but just completely forgot to upload it, well better late than never as they say!!
Right anyway moving on.... It's challenge time at Moving Along With The Times!

Here is my card for the challenge...I have for once kept it very very simple! I love this image so just wanted to focus on that as it's so cute and such fun!
It is of course Sumpins Wrong by Mo Manning from Stampavie. I coloured it with my much beloved Copics and mounted it using my Nestabilities. The paper is Jillibean Soup.
I then simply added a bit of ribbon from my stash, buttons, pearls & a mini message!

MMCS Challenge 16 - Fab & Funky

Here is my bright funky take on the challenge...This is one of the latest Some Odd Girl Stamps, isn't she so cute!!
These are fast becoming one of my fav stamp companies at the moment, they are just so fun to colour! I coloured her with my copics & used some very bright funky papers, these are Echo Park Summertime. I used my Nesties for the oval and MS Stewart Punch for the grass! The sentiment is a stamp that comes with the main charactor stamp...how cool is that!
I added a bit of ribbon & some lil lilac roses to finish...quite simple really!

MMCS Challenge 15 - For A Teen

This is a bit of a quick post for me today as we have a super busy day ahead at the shop!

MAWTT Challenge - Favourite Things

The sun is out and it looks like it's gonna be a fab day :)
It's Thursday which means challenge time over at Moving Along With The Times and this week's challenge is 'Favourite Things'.

The papers are the gorgeous My Minds Eye Lost & Found - Portobello Road. These will be arriving in store at MMCS very soon. I also used my Magnolia Swirl die and added Liquid Pearls to the ends. MMCS Challenge 14 - Swirls & Pearls

It's challenge time again over at My Mums Craft Shop Challenges!
This week our theme is
Swirls & Pearls
This is definitely one of my favourite themes as i love swirls and pearls and use them on almost every card i make, as you probably know!This week My Mums Craft Shop are sponsoring us and giving the lucky winner a £10 Gift Voucher to spend in our online shop!

Here is my creation for this week...
I did spend a while faffing around with this but i am quite pleased how it turned out in the end!
The stamp is of course a Simply Sassy Stamp that is available at My Mums Craft Shop, In-Store only. The papers are My Minds Eye Lost & Found. I used lots of Bazzill Kraft Card..can't get enough of it at the moment! I used my favourite Die-namic Dizzy Doily. The swirl is a Sizzix from a Sizzlit Set. The flowers are Cherry Blossoms, the Ticket is a Tim Holtz Adage Ticket. I coloured her with my Copics & used various Distress Inks around the sides.

Dream Valley Challenge 11 - Summer

It's time for the start of another new challenge at Dream Valley Challenges,

Here is my entry for this week....
It's not very often that i make yellowy cards so i thought this one would be a nice welcome change! I have used a SWALK Stamp called Old Friend. I coloured this with my copics and the sentiments are also from the same stamp set. The papers are Echo Park Country Drive. The fence is a Magnolia Die and grass is made from a Martha Stewart Punch. The swirl is a Marianne Design Die and i used my Tim Holtz Distress Inks to stain the edges a bit!

Card Makin Mama's - Summertime

It's Friday and time for a new challenge at Card Makin Mama's
This week we have a lovely summery theme..er....
Summertime
So we want to see lots of summery, bright funky cards!

Now i have been a bit naughty this week and not done a card and seeing as this is a Cardmaking Challenge...please feel free to give me a slap on the bum!
I have however made a summery frame so rather than show you nothing, i can show you this :)
This frame is made using a wooden frame from My Mums Craft Shop. I painted it with Decopatch Gesso and then used Decopatch Papers & Glue to cover the frame edges. I then coloured La La Land Marci With Flower Stamp with my copics and added Flowers & a Die Cut Swirl.

Sorry for the lack of blog posts lately...i am trying to get back into a routine of creating but am finding i have less time at the mo - but it's a good thing as it means i am busy in the shop getting lots of new stash in :)

I also used a Scallop Die-namic Die, Bakers Twine, Card Candi & Tim Holtz Adage Tickets (coming soon at MMCS!). I of course coloured her with my copics and used a Gelly Roll pen for her cheeks!

MMCS Challenge 12 - Something Old, Something New

Hellloooo, i am back - hurrah!!! I am finally back on track with my DT work and cards - boy i have missed creating and my escape 'me' time!
It's time for a new challenge over at My Mums Craft Shop Challenges
This week our challenge theme is Something Old, Something New
So you have loads of scope on this one, as long as you use something that is old and something that is new then that's fine! It can be a stamp or punch or anything really!

Here is what i came up with...

I love love love this image its called A Special Flower and i think it's just gorgeous!
The image is my something new, as it is also the first time i have used it! My something old is my beloved MS Trellis Punch, i still love it though!

The papers i have used are Prima Madeline Papers, they are just gorgeous, love them! The swirl is a Sizzix Die and flowers are Large Roses. I coloured her with copics, matted everything with Kraft Card and added a bit of chalk here and there - as i couldn't find my inks!

MMCS Challenge 11 - One Of The Boys

OMG!!!
I am so sorry for not posting anything for blooming ages!!!
I am also sorry i haven't been able to do my challenge cards - very unlike me!
I have to say i really have missed crafting, i haven't been able to do any cards as i have been working solidly on the shop!
It's a lot of work when you are having to do the whole lot with no help,
but it's nearly there now so i'm happy!!

BIG NEWS @ My Mums Craft Shop

Well the time has come to finally let you all know the BIG NEWS and the reason we have been a bit busy and quiet lately!!

We are getting a bricks & mortar shop!
..
..
Yes really we are, we are all sooooo excited!! So if you live on the south coast make sure you come and visit us soon! Our address is 21 Great Cranford Street, Poundbury, Dorchester, Dorset DT1 3SP
We are due to open in 2 weeks time on Saturday 25th June. There is still alot of things to do and everything to prepare but we are getting there and i can't wait to show you some piccies of the shop soon!

For those of you that don't live nearby it is also very exciting for you too as this means we will be able to bring you loads of more new different products and ranges to the web shop!

Here is a piccie of the outside of the shop at the moment (yes all 3 doors are ours!)..And here are the details for our Grand Shop opening!I can't wait to show you all the photos of the inside once we have it together a bit more!

We will keep you updated on the progress of the shop and hope you all will continue your support with us as you all have managed to make our dream of having a shop come true :)

CBGM Challenge - Sketch & Circles

Just a quick post today as later on i some EXCITING news that i can finally reveal, least you will find out why i haven't been around as much then!!
So it's Saturday and time for a new challenge at CBGM and this week out challenge is a Sketch & Circles
This is a nice simple sketch so we can't wait to see all your creations!

This was a bit of a last minute card so i have kept it very simple! I have used one of the LOTV Die Cut Images - my god these are perfect when your in a rush!
The papers i used are Echo Park Springtime, lush aren' they! I also used my Nestabilities for the circles, Cherry Blossoms & Die Cut Message.

Card Makin Mamas Challenge - For/With A Child

Over at Card Makin Mamas, we have just launched a new challenge, this fortnight our challenge is..For/With A Child
This means we want to see you make a card with a child (if you have one) or make a card that would be suitable for a child!

The Design Team were lucky enough to get to play with some of the images.
Here is my creation that my daughter Lissy (5 1/2yrs) and i created together...

Lissy chose the image, papers, colours and we added all the embellishments herself! She is very proud of this card and i think quite rightfully she should be!!

MAWTT Challenge 102 - Anything But A Card

Here is my take on the challenge...

It's a Marci Gift Bag! Isn't she just soooo cute! This is Winter Marci, altho i think she can be for any occasion. I will have to hunt out the template and add it on here later. I made a little think open top box for the middle bit and then i used my Nestabilities to create the front. I then made a little handle to match with patterned papers. I colour Winter Marci with Copics. I also added WOJ Pearls & Cherry Blossoms. It was quite simple and easy to make really!

Here is my take on the challenge...
I used the fabby Download Diva image, which you can also get in rubber in the UK at My Mums Craft Shop here! I used my favourite paper of the moment My Minds Eye, coloured the image with Copics and the flourish is a Magnolia die. I also used Prima Lace, Eleganza Ribbon and Die-namic Double Scallop. The roses are from My Mums Craft Shop also. I punched the leaves and butterflies using a Martha Stewart Punch. I used a lil TH Distress Ink too!

I needed a new sketch book so i could scribble down all the card layout and sketches i find on challenges etc. I did make one but it's tiny tiny and no more room really so thought i would go the whole hog and get a much bigger one with tons of pages! Of course a plain black one wouldn't really go with all my pretty crafty stuff so of course it needed a bit of altering and glamouring up!
And here is what i came up with...

I made to look like my two little girlies, aren't they cute!! I used the cute WRS Mia Gardening & Mia With Flower stamps. Coloured them with Copics of course! Clouds are Die-namics Flat Bottom Clouds & Grass is a Martha Stewart Punch. The fence is a Magnolia die, letters are Thickers and tons of ribbon from my stash!

Cards For Men Challenge 12 - Blue & Black

It's time for another new challenge over at Cards For Men

Ellie Card & Blog Candy

What a glorious summers day today, hope it is wherever you are at the moment!
I have been pretty busy the past few days and probably will for the next few weeks too, it's all very exciting - yes i will tell you very very soon!!
Now today i have a card i have done for lovely Jayne at Stamposaurus! I apologize for the wonky photo, i will try and retake it today! Jayne has a show coming up on Create & Craft next month and she is going to be showcasing the cute fab Ellie Stamps.
For this card i have used Ellie No. 4..isn't she just soooo cute!
I have used my lovely Kaisercraft Papers & Martha Stewart Doily Lace Punch.
I coloured Ellie with my Copics and the flowers are Prima E Line & pearls are Prima Pearls.

Landon Lollipop

I love the new stamps by Stamping Bella that we have just had delivered at
My Mums Craft Shop.
Of course as soon as they came in, i had to have a play!
I love Lori Boyds Lollipops and i should i should start making a few more masculine cards as i know i mostly do girly ones, lol. I can't help it i just prefer pink and pretty things!
So here is my first creation using Landon Lollipop...
I kept it quite clean and simple, as well it is for a man - shame none i know are clean or simple, lol. More like mucky and complicated, lol! I used last weeks sketch at Cute Card Thursday, cos silly me didn't post this in time, oops!

I used Landon Lollipop, coloured with Copics and used some Imaginisce Papers. I also used my Nestabilities. I mounted everything onto Kraft Card and added a Mini Message and some Prima Pearls to finish.

MMCS Challenge 8 - Things With Wings

It's time to set a new challenge over at My Mums Craft Shop Challenges
We have a lovely challenge theme for you this week..
Things With Wings
So this can be anything with wings - fairies, butterflies, birds etc
This week we have the lovely Poodles Digi Doodles sponsoring us, they are giving the lucky winner 4 digi images of there choice, how great is that!?
The design team were given some of there lovely images to play with and this is what i came up with...
I used Fairy 002 and i teamed this up with some gorgeous Echo Park Papers!
I coloured her with my Copics of course. The swirl is a Tim Holtz Die and flowers are from here. I also used my Distress Inks for the edges and added some Card Candi.

Now i thought i used a chalenge sketch for this card but i can't for the life of me find which one, lol how typical is that!

Birthday Blog Candy

Fairy Dreams

Just a quickie post for today!
Here is a quick card i whipped up for Little Claire..
This stamp is called Fairy Dreams, isn't she just so adorable, peeking out the flower pot!
I used lots of my current favourite products too... Kaisercraft Papers, Die-namics, Kraft Card, Prima Lace, Magnolia Swirl Die & Tim Holtz Tickets...am so loving these!!

CBGM Challenge - Pink & Green, Flowers & Sketch

Wow, check me out two posts in one day!!
It's another start of a new challenge at CBGM today!
This week our themes are 'Pink & Green, Flowers & a Sketch'

Here is my card i made..
I have of course used a gorgeous LOTV Image, love this one she is super cute! I coloured her with my Copics and used a pretty First Edition Pad for the papers..they really do have some stunning designs in these packs!
The ticket is a Whimsy Die & Stamp that i treated myself to as an early birthday treat (well only a bit early as my birthday is on Monday lol! We have these on the way as we speak at MMCS so watch this space is you fancy grabbing yourself one!

Little Claire Challenge 8 - Shaped Cards

It's challenge time over at Little Claires and this time we have a lovely theme of 'Shaped Cards', so we want to see lots of shaped cards in all different designs and sizes!
This is a great one if you have any of the Grand Nesties or Go Kreate Dies..you can really make some stunning cards with these!
Little Claire are giving the lucky a gorgeous prize including papers & stamps, see the blog for more details and the rest of the DT examples - they are all truly stunning!
Here is my take on the challenge...I have used the ever so cute Dream A Little Dream Stamp, isn't she just so cute!
I made this gorgeous shape by using a Go Kreate that i was bought as a present at the NEC, it's taken me this long to use it but i am quite pleased how it came out!
The Fence is Magnolia Die that i have been dying to use! The grass is a MFT Die-namics and butterfly is a CC Cutters Die. The papers are Kaisercraft, Pearls are Prima & of course a lil Tiny Message. All distressed with Sir Tims Inks of course!

Card Makin' Mama's Challenge - Use Your Scraps

It's challenge time over at Card Makin' Mamas!
Our theme this fortnight is 'Use Your Scraps' so it's time to dig out all bits of papers you have lying around! This was a really good challenge for me as i have a huge drawer full of scraps and luckily i found some that coordinated!

The Design Team all got to choose an image to work with and i chose BBrat Girl Balloon Sitter, here is what i came up with...
I am quite pleased how this came out! I am so loving Kraft card at the moment and you may notice these lil tickets and clips popping up a lot too! I coloured her with copics, & did a bit of distressing with my Tim Holtz Inks too! The ticket is a Tim Holtz Adage Ticket (coming soon at MMCS). The flowers are here, pearls here & nestabilities.

Moving Along With The Times Challenge - Holidays

It's that time again, yes time for a new challenge at Moving Along With The Times

As soon as i saw the theme i knew the image i wanted to use, shame it's not been released as a stamp yet as i love it! Also i know someone who this card will be perfect for!

I used the sketch over at Sketch Saturday for the design. This image of course is a LOTV image, a die cut topper infact! I haven't had much time to craft this week as Jasmine hasn't been in nursery the usual days so i have been a bit behind. I am so getting into using Kraft card at the moment as you will see from my next few posts!
