Be Brave

It's a very wet weather day today, which is ok whilst we are still in lockdown. I have lots of tidying and sorting in my craft room to keep me busy. Today I am sharing a summery card I made using Clearly Besotted Stamps. I am so loving these at the moment...
For this card I used Clearly Besotted Parachuting Plushes. I coloured them with Copics and cut them out. I used Distress Oxide Salty Ocean to create the clouds along with my MFT Cloud Edges Stencil. I used Lawn Fawn Mushroom Border Die for the grass blending with Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxides. The fence die is Lawn Fawn Picket Fence. I also added a Lawn Fawn Stitched Frame Die. The sentiment is from the same stamp set.

Clearly Besotted Stamps - Parachuting Plushies
Lawn Fawn Dies - Mushroom Border, Picket Fence, Stitched Rectangle Frames
MFT Stencil - Cloud Edges

Have A Dandy Day

Today I am sharing a cute fun card that I made for Crafts Beautiful Magazine using some of the latest release products from Lawn Fawn. I always create quite far in advance so I actually made this when it was first released. I loved the Christmas mice so I knew I would love these Spring ones...
For this card I used Lawn Fawn Dandy Day Stamp Set. All the images were coloured with Copic Pens and cut out. I created the blended background using Distress Oxide Mermaid Lagoon and Salty Ocean. I also used the Oxides in Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron for the grass hill. I then die cut it using a Grassy Edge Die from Lawn Fawn. I created the sentiments using the same set. I also added a Stitched Frame and Scallop Edge Rectangle Die. The background is Lawn Dandy Day which was made to coordinate with this cute stamp set.

Supplies;
Lawn Fawn Stamps - Dandy Day
Lawn Fawn Paper Pad - Dandy Day
Lawn Fawn Dies - Stitched Rectangle Frames, Grassy Edges
M&C Dies - Stitched Scallop Rectangles
Distress Oxide Inks - Mowed Lawn, Twisted Citron, Salty Ocean, Mermaid Lagoon

You're Rawr-Some

Hello! What lovely summer weather we are having but shame we can't make the most of it as lock down continues. Today I am sharing a cute card featuring dinosaurs that is in the latest issue of Let's Make Cards. I couldn't do my new way of photographing as they were made months ago...
I think these are my favourite Dino Stamps and I have quite a few in my collection! I created this one using MFT My Favorite Things Prehistoric Pals Stamps. I coloured them with Copics and cut them out. I created the background using a Reverse Confetti Stitched Rays Cover Die. I added some patterned paper from an old MFT Paper Pad. I used M&C Dies (The Works) for the frame and the lace border. I then embossed some craft card and die cut with a Stitched Circle. I added some stamped sentiments and some buttons.

Supplies;
MFT Stamps - Prehistoric Pals
Reverse Confetti Dies - Stitched Rays Cover Panel
M&C Dies - Frames, Lace Borders
XCut Embossing Folder - Small Polka Dot
Copic Markers
Coloured Card
Buttons

I will be back with more creations soon, including more dinosaurs from this project!

Birthday Party Bus

I have been playing around with the photography side of things today. I have been struggling to get good lighting for my cards it's either too bright or dark so I have been testing a few things out. Today I am sharing a fun card (testing my new photo style) that I made last night using a super cute image from Avery Elle...
 My husband and I were talking about vintage children's tv programmes and we both suddenly remembers Richard Scarry's Busytown. I instantly wanted to create a cute animal town scene and remembered I had some ready coloured images. I used Avery Elle Birthday Bus Stamp Set which was coloured with Copics and cut out. I created the background using Distress Oxide Mermaid Lagoon Ink. I used MFT Stitched Cloud Edges Dies for the clouds and also the grass hedges. I blended Mowed Lawn & Twisted Citron Distress Inks to create a bush/hedge. I used Lawn Fawn Road Die to create the road. The buildings were created with MFT Skyline Die. I die cut the smile word using MFT Smile Die several times to create a layered sentiment. I used glitter card for the top layer and coloured it to change it to a pink colour. The bottom sentiment is from the MFT Smile Maker Stamp Set.

Supplies;
Avery Elle Stamps - Birthday Bus
MFT Dies - Skyline Border, Stitched Cloud Edges, Smile
Lawn Fawn Dies - Simple Road
MFT Stamps - Smile Maker
Distress Oxide Inks - Mowed Lawn, Twisted Citron, Mermaid Lagoon
Lucy's Little Things - Pearls
Copic Marker Pens
Coloured Card

Make A Wish

Hi all,
Hope you all had a lovely Easter and enjoyed the sun - well as much as you can under the current circumstances. I've still been creating when I can an even creating with my daughter. I whipped up a quick card using some super cute giraffes...
For this card I used Clearly Besotted Stand Tall Stamps. They were such a bargain in their sale - under £3! I coloured them all with Copics and fussy cut them out. I created the background using Distress Oxide Inks in Spiced Marmalade, Dried Marigold, Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn. I added some subtle dots to the top using MFT Confetti Stencil and die cut with a rectangle. The sentiment is Hello Bluebird Make A Wish Die that I layered up a few times.
Supplies;
Clearly Besotted Stamps - Stand Tall
Hello Bluebird Dies - Make A Wish
MFT Stencils - Confetti
MFT Dies - Stitched Rectangles
Distress Oxide Inks - Spiced Marmalade, Dried Marigold, Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn

Anteater Birthday

It's another lovely and sunny day here today. I am finding that it's almost too bright to take decent photos of my cards at the moment - particularly if they have a lot of white on them. Sorry for the not great photo, but hopefully you can still see the design it's a clean and simple one...
For this card I used some super cute stamps from last months release at Clearly Besotted. How cute are those anteaters? They are from the Anteater Antics Stamp Set. The flowers are a border from the Garden Plushies Stamp Set. I coloured them all with Copic Pens and cut them out. I gently blended some Distress Oxide Ink in Twisted Citron and Tumbled Glass colours. The sentiment which is also by Clearly Besotted is from the Says It All Again Stamp Set.

I will be back very soon :)
Stay safe and well.
