Winter Pine Cones

Hello and welcome to a new week of craftyness. Sorry this is a bit later than usual but as often on a Monday I'm playing catch up after the weekend. Today I am sharing a very simple card I made using some beautiful layered stencils...

For this card I used Altenew Classic Pine Stencils A & B. I used Tea Dye & Gathered Twigs Oxide Inks for the actual pinecones then Rustic Wilderness Ink for the leaves/branches. The sentiment is from Crafters Companion Glittering Snowflakes Winter Solstice Stamp & Die Set. I simply stamped it and die cut it using the matching die. To finish I added a few clear bubble embellishments.

I created the sentiment using Altenew Mega Brush Alpha Stamps and simply stamped it directly on top.  I then splattered the whole thing with black and white inks with a touch of water. Botanical Hello

Hello crafty friends. Today I am sharing another of my cards and tags that I made for my random act of kindness packs. I've done over 20 now but I have to go into hospital tomorrow so I may have a few days rest afterwards. I kept this one clean and simple and also made a matching tag...

For this card & tag I used Altenew Botanical Rhapsody Washi Tape. I simple placed it over the front of my card to use as a background. I lightly coloured in some of the flowers with my Copics. You have to be a bit careful doing this and not blend so much or it will run and ruin your card.  I used on of my current favourite dies for the sentiment Simon Says Stamp CZ Design Hello Dies. I layered it in dark grey and white card. I added a strip of patterned paper and some gems to finish. I used the same products for the tag but cut the shape using my Clearly Besotted Tag Along Dies. I also added some twine to the top.

Supplies;
Altenew Washi Tape - Botanical Rhapsody
Simon Says Stamp Dies - CZ Design Hello
Clearly Besotted Dies - Tag Along
Copic Markers
Twine
Gems

Thank you ever so much for popping by today. I will be back tomorrow with my weekly Time for Tea Designs card. Have a great day!

Mother's Day Hugs

Hello crafty friends. Today's card was actually my prototype that I made. I actually went on to make over 300 of this card for a charity close to my heart. Each one was sent out on Mother's Day to mothers that don't have contact with their child due to PA. I received tons of comments from mothers who normally dread the day that were so cheered up by this, so I am happy that I contributed to making the day that bit easier. Here is the card...

For this card I used Altenew Rose Bouquet Stencil. I coloured the image with my Worn Lipstick, Mowed Lawn & Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Inks. I then splashed the background with some of the ink watered down. The sentiment stamps are from Avery Elle from the set called Simply Said Hugs. I then added some gems from Lucy's Little Things. I had to keep it simple of course making that many, especially as nearly all my cards are one offs! Thank god for my Misti & Media Mat!

Supplies;
Altenew Stencil - Rose Bouquet
Avery Elle Stamps - Simply Said Hugs
Distress Oxide Inks - Worn Lipstick, Mowed Lawn, Twisted Citron
Lucy's Little Things - Gems

Sending A Smile

Hi all,
Today I am sharing a colourful card that I made this week. I have been trying out some new styles of cards to broaden my skills and here is one of them using my favourite colour palette of the moment...
For this card I created the background using Mermaid Lagoon, Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Inks and blended them together. Next I went over the top with a stencil using the same colours adding more pressure to get a darker colour. I then used my Altenew Simple Beauty Stamped Set and stamped each of the sketched flower in the two corners. I used my MFT Die-namics Die for the Smile word. I cut this out several times and layered it together.. I added a heat embossed sentiment using the MFT Stamps Smile Maker Stamp Set. I added a couple of strips of striped paper to balance out the black and white. I finished by adding some gems and jewels. I had so much fun making these backgrounds so watch this space for more! Ps - sorry this picture is a bit blurry my camera doesn't want to play ball at the moment.

Hi all,
I'm back, two days in a row check me out! I have been creating behind the scenes to keep me busy so I have a few extra cards to share with you. Today I am sharing a clean and simple floral card using the spotlight stamping technique...

I added some striped paper and a strip of black card to the side. I finished by added some pearls.

Supplies;

What a beautiful sunny day it is here, still very chilly but nice to see some light! I'm delighted as my husband as been so busy over the past few weeks moving rooms around in our house. I finally now have a craft room!!!! It's a tiny office size room  but it's a craft room and all mine. It's so much brighten than having it all under the stairs in our lounge. It s till needs painting but it's all in now just needs a bit more sorting. Anyway onto today's card that I whipped up in my new room...
To create this card I created the background using Altenew Fine Frames Diamond Dies - loving the geo trend again! The flowers are a Altenew Washi Tape called Botanical Rhapsody . I coloured them with Copics and cut them out to look like a stamped image. I arranged them onto the left side of the card and popped them on foam pads. I used MFT Hello Die for the die cut sentiment. I also added a stamped sentiment from WPlus9 That Is All Stamp Set. I flicked some brown watercolour paint onto the background to add a inky splatter.
