Birthday Bugs

I am so pleased I can start sharing some more Spring creations. It does seem however that our winter hasn't really begun yet so it will probably be like winter soon and I'll want to share wintery creations! Anyway on with spring... this one was featured in Crafts Beautiful Magazine...
For this card I used Hello Sweetums Bitty Bugs Stamps. I coloured them with Copic Pens and cut them out. I created the sky by lightly sponging some Broken China Distress Ink. I then blended some Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron Distress Inks and die cut it with MFT Turf Vertical Dies. I used Hello Bluebird Happy Birthday Die to create the sentiment and die cut it from white foam.

Supplies;
Hello Sweetums Stamps - Bitty Bugs
Hello Bluebird Dies - Happy Birthday
MFT Dies - Turf Vertical
Distress Inks - Broken China, Mowed Lawn, Twisted Citron
Copic Pens
White Foam Sheet
Coloured Card

I will be back with more creations very soon :)

Penguin Fun

Hi all,
Wow it has been so much more chillier this week! Today I am sharing a quick card that I made using some of the new releases from Hello Sweetums Stamps. I just can't resist super cute penguin stamps...
For this card I used the Hello Sweetums Stamps Snowy Smooches. I coloured them with my Copics and cut them out. How fun is the sentiment too - it is also in the stamp set! I created the background using Mermaid Lagoon & Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Inks. I then added some splashes of water. I used Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Dies for the snow hills and added some light blue ink and glitter to the tops. I used my Nuvo Drops to create to translucent dots.

Supplies;
Hello Sweetums Stamps - Snowy Smooches
Lawn Fawn Dies - Stitched Hillside
Distress Oxide Inks - Mermaid Lagoon, Cracked Pistachio
DecoArt Glitter
Copic Markers
Nuvo Drops

I will be back soon :)

Hello Squeak Cheeks

Hi all,
Earlier this week I received a couple of Hello Sweetums Stamps from Simon Says Stamp. These were from the brand new release so of course I couldn't wait to get them stamped and made into a card. Here is one of my clean and simple cards...
For this card I used Hello Sweetums Squeak Cheeks Stamps. I coloured them with Copics and cut them out. I created the background using a Heffy Doodle Stencil and some Mustard Seed Distress Ink. I then added the sentiment (also from the stamp set) and some Nuvo Drops to finish.

I will be back soon :)

Monkeying Around

Hi all,
Today I am sharing a fun card using some cute stamps from Hello Sweetums. I just love all the cute monkeys you get in this set and all the accessories mean you can build so many different scenes...
How cute are those faces, right? These stamps by Hello Sweetums are called Funky Monkeys.  I coloured them all with Copic Pens and cut them out. I created a blended background and subtly added the sun ray using a stencil. I used a Stitched Frame Die by Reverse Confetti and a strip of stripe paper. I embossed the wavy sentiment by Lawn Fawn onto a wavy banner die cut.

I will be back soon :)

Some Bunny Special

Hi all,
A couple of months back I found a new company called Hello Sweetums. They do the cutest ickle stamps! I waited for the latest release, got my order in and they arrived this week. Naturally I couldn't wait to get them stamped up and made into a card...
For this card I used Hello Sweetums Honey Bunnies Stamp Set. I coloured them with Copics and cut them out. I used a MFT Sun Ray Stencil for the background. I used Lawn Fawn Dies for the grass and mushroom border. The sentiment is also from the stamp set.

I really hope these new stamps will be available to a UK retailer soon - fingers crossed!

Thanks for stopping by today,
Kitty xx
