Cards For Men Challenge 12 - Blue & Black

It's time for another new challenge over at Cards For Men
This week our challenge theme is 'Black & Blue'
We have a lovely sponsor this week - Heart Song Designs, the prize this week is 3 Digi's!
They very kindly gave the DT some images to play with, i used Hot Air Balloon and here is my creation...
I coloured the Balloon with my Copics, the papers are MME Lime Twist Fly A Kite & the Bakers Twine is MME Remember. I also added a Tiny Sentiment Tag and the ribbon & pearls are from my stash!

Cards For Men - No Paper

Wow what a busy weekend i had - more about that later :)
It's Monday and time for the start of a new challenge at Cards For Men!
This week our challenge theme is No Paper, yes that's right no patterned paper :( This was quite a tricky one for me as i LOVE my papers to pieces! We are sponsored by the brilliant Kenny K and all the design team got some lovely images to work with too, so make sure you check out all there amazing ideas on the CFM Blog.
Here is my take on the challenge...
As you can see i kept it very simple to show off the main fun image! I used some Cuttlebug embossing folders for the backgrounds to give it a bit of texture. I coloured him with Copics of course! The music notes are a fab Die-namics Die and i added a few Card Candi round the sides!

Cards For Men Challenge 10 - Someone Special

I hope you all had a lovely weekend, it's Monday and time for a new challenge at Cards For Men. This week our theme is 'Someone Special'.

I did follow a sketch but i can't for the life of me remember where it was, sorry!I have used Echo Park Little Boy Papers. The Buttons are from Papermania. The Punches are X-Cut Stars, coloured with Copics and a Mini Message to finish.

Cards For Men Circles Challenge

Good morning, i hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend and enjoy the bank holiday today. Hope your not all feeling too sick after too much chocolate, unlike my two girlies or should that be piggies!

It's my turn to host the new challenge at Cards For Men. This time i have chosen the theme of...
Circles
So we would like to see any sort of circles on your projects, this can be shaped cards, buttons,embellishments, die cuts - just anything circular!

This week we are sponsored by Freshly Brewed Designs and they are giving the winner 3 Digis of your choice! We are also all very lucky to receive images to play with for this fortnights challenge, so here is my take on the challenge..

I kept it nice and simple, as it is for a man and well i'm not sure they would appreciate lots of glitter, pink and flowers like i normally use, lol.

The papers i used are from my fav boys stack MME True Blue Fine & Dandy . I used my Nestabilities for the circles & scallop mat, Buttons i think are Woodware, Jewels are Meiflower & of course a Mini Message.

Cards For Men Challenge 7

Another couple of weeks has flown by again and its Monday so time for a new challenge!

This fortnight the challenge is Embossing.

This can be any sort of embossing dry embossing, heat embossing or any other type!

This week's sponsor is Paper Pretties, head over to the CFM Blog to check out the cute prize!

The DT were lucky enough to be given some lovely Paper Pretties images to play with!

Here is what i came up with..

For this card i used the Digi Image Balloons For You. The paper is Kaisercraft, lots of Card Candi to embellish & a mini message. It is of course coloured with Copics. The embossing is done with a Cuttlebug Embossing Folder.

Cards For Men Challenge 6

Gosh don't the weeks fly by sometimes?!
It's Monday and time for another challenge at Cards For Men!
This week we have a lovely sketch for you designed by Mandy

Here is my card

As you can see, i got a bit carried away and adding lots of bits to this card lol! I used a LOTV Cute Square and chalked the background to make it less white! Do you like the fabric flower i've made, if you pop over the simply sassy blog you will find a tutorial - they are super easy to make!

Cards For Men Challenge 5 - Water

Another fortnight has flown by, which means the start of a new challenge at Cards For Men!
Our new challenge for this fortnight is Water, this can be anything inspired by water - sea, animals, boats fish etc.

Cards For Men Challenge 4 - Receipe

Its time for a new challenge at Cards For Men!
This fortnight we are sponsored by one of our regular sponsors One Stop Card Crafts

I wanted to make it bright and funky and not too red or pink like normal valentines day stuff, so i used my Cosmo Cricket Delovely papers, i think thats there name! Cards For Men - Challenge & Blog Hop!!

OMG , it has been a year since Cards For Men Challenges started!! To celebrate our anniversary we have a ton of prizes available and two challenges for you too!! The theme for both is Christmas and you challenge is to make a card or present - or both!! Usual challenge rules apply!! Make sure you hop on over to the CFM Blog and check out the inspiration...

I love making these cute little boxes and love this little fella, i saw it at Ally Pally and spent hours searching in boxes of stamps to find it and finally i did!

We are also having an Anniversary Blog Hop. You can get the full list of blogs over at Cards for Men. At each stop there'll be a word to collect and a candy draw.

I have this lovely Pink Cat Studio Billy Stamp Set from MMCS to give away!

Cards For Men Challenge 22

I know i keep saying this but where does the time go!?! Only seems like yesterday i was posting my last challenge card! Anyway on with the challenge...
This week's challenge at Cards For Men is an easy peasy one! Yup its time for 'Anything Goes'.. well as long as it's male that is!! This fortnight we are sponsored by the fabby Digital Delights, they were so lovely to supply us all with images but unfortunately i didn't get the chance to use any of mine (life, work & exhaustion has a real habit of getting in the way at the moment!! grrr!) but make sure you go check out the rest of the Design Teams examples!
Here is mine.. not a card but a lovely treat box!

Sorry about the poor photos i will try and take better ones sometime this week! This was super easy to make once i figured out the dimensions and sizes of paper etc! I am planning to make a few of these for a couple of craft shows i am hoping to have a stand at soon!! Hopefully i will get to show you more of these kinda creations this week!

I used my lovely new Echo Park Papers, they are lovely and have such fabby traditional colours which makes a change for me as i am usually all about the contemporary! I also teamed this up with my lovely new swirl die and of course a lovely LOTV image! I filled my treat box as you can see with loads of scrummy choccies, i have to say it was a job keeping Lissy away from these!!!

Cards For Men - Challenge 21

God where does the time go?! Yes it's time for another challenge at Cards For Men!

Cards For Men - Challenge 20 Autumn

It's that time again, yes it's time for another new challenge at Cards For Men.
We have gone all seasonal with this fortnight's challenge which is......

....Autumn!!!

Here is my take on the challenge
You can enter anything handmade into the challenge cards, tags, layouts whatever you like. The only rule we have is that it must be suitable for a male and be on the theme of Autumn!

Cards For Men Challenge 19 - Transport

I am scheduling this post so fingers crossed it works! It's challenge time again at Cards For Men! My my the last two weeks have flown by, where has the time gone, lol! Anyway on with the challenge....this fortnights called has the theme of Transport! You can incorperate this into your design in anyway you like as long as the project is suitable for a man or boy! Here is my DT card....
I have used a stamp from the lovely Penny Black Set called Jolly Follies. I used Promarkers to colour the image and teamed it up with some lovely Christmas papers by Imaginesce.

Cards For Men Challenge 18 - Long Summer Days

It's challenge time again over at Cards For Men! This fortnight we have the theme of 'Long Summer Days'. Cards For Men Challenge 17 - Decoupage

We have a brand new challenge for you over at Cards For Men. This week's challenge is Decoupage! The only rules we have is it must be an item suitable for then men or boys in our lives and feature decoupage - that's it really.

Cards For Men - Challlenge 16

Today is the launch of our new challenge over at Cards For Men! For this challenge we have a theme of 'Off On An Adventure'. You can interperate this however you like, all we ask is that it is a card suitable for men or boys and thats it really!
