Thank You

Good morning, another sunny day here today. I have a cute card to share with you. I've got tons of stamped & cut out images ready to go onto cards so I thought I would attempt to try make them into cards. So here is one of them using some fun images from Avery Elle...

How cute is that bunny playing the cello!? All the images are from the Avery Elle Forest Dance Party Stamp Set. I coloured them with Copics and cut them out. I created a simple blended background by using Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo & Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Inks. I splatted the background with some water and white ink. The clouds are from the Avery Elle Cloud Mat Die and I added a little shading to them. I blended Twisted Citron & Mowed Lawn Inks onto white card and die cut it with my MFT Stitched Hillside Dies. I also used an old MFT die for the fence. The large sentiment is from The Greetery Opposites Attract Stamp Set which I also die cut with the coordinating dies. The smaller sentiment is from Concord & 9th Big On You Stamp Set. I added a few gems around the sentiments to finish.

Splashy Hello

Morning crafty friends. There seems to be lots of new crafty releases at the moment which I love as it always means new things to play with so hopefully I will get my hands on some new sets soon! Today I am sharing a fun easy card that was made with an older set from Avery Elle. I do love their stamps, especially these cuties...

This one was made as part of my Distress Inky Backgrounds project that featured in Crafts Beautiful.  The stamps I used are Avery Elle Celebraytion Stamps. I coloured each of the images with Copic Pens and then cut them out. I created the background by adding a little distress ink onto some acetate and then spritzing it with water. I placed it directly onto my paper then heated it dry. I repeated the process until I had the background I wanted. The colours I used are Mermaid Lagoon, Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink. I used my MFT Hello Die-namics Die to create the layered sentiment. I finished by added a few pearls.

Supplies;
Avery Elle Stamps - CeleBRAYtion
My Favorite Things Die-namics Dies - Hello

Sending Sunshine and Smiles

Good morning peeps. A week ago I decided I wanted to do something nice for people as the past year has been eventful for us all to say the least. I decided each day I would make little Random Act of Kindness things and give them out to random people I don't know that live in our neighbourhood. I've been making a gift bag, a tag to attach to it, a handmade card and also a handmade lemon drizzle cake. It's been keeping me busy and I just hope it brings some smiles to people. Anyway so here is one of the cards I made for that...

I've always loved this bunny image! It is from the Avery Elle Wheelie Great Stamp Set. I coloured the images with Copic Pens and cut them out. I created the background using my MFT Cloud Edges Stencil with some Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Ink. I then blended some Mowed Grass Distress Oxide Ink onto white card and die cut it using MFT Grassy Edges Die. I then added a stamped sentiment. I added a strip of patterned paper, added the images with foam pads and added some pearls to finish.

Supplies;
Avery Elle Stamps - Wheelie Great
MFT Die-namics Dies - Grassy Edges
MFT Stencils - Cloud Edges
Distress Oxide Inks - Mermaid Lagoon, Mowed Lawn
Copic Markers
Patterned Paper

Thank you so much for checking our my creation for today. I will be back with another creation soon. Stay safe.

Mother's Day Hugs

Hello crafty friends. Today's card was actually my prototype that I made. I actually went on to make over 300 of this card for a charity close to my heart. Each one was sent out on Mother's Day to mothers that don't have contact with their child due to PA. I received tons of comments from mothers who normally dread the day that were so cheered up by this, so I am happy that I contributed to making the day that bit easier. Here is the card...

For this card I used Altenew Rose Bouquet Stencil. I coloured the image with my Worn Lipstick, Mowed Lawn & Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Inks. I then splashed the background with some of the ink watered down. The sentiment stamps are from Avery Elle from the set called Simply Said Hugs. I then added some gems from Lucy's Little Things. I had to keep it simple of course making that many, especially as nearly all my cards are one offs! Thank god for my Misti & Media Mat!

Supplies;
Altenew Stencil - Rose Bouquet
Avery Elle Stamps - Simply Said Hugs
Distress Oxide Inks - Worn Lipstick, Mowed Lawn, Twisted Citron
Lucy's Little Things - Gems

Thank you ever so much for taking time to read my blog and for all your comments and likes on my SM pages. You guys rock! Have a great weekend and I will be back next week.

Hi all. What a scorcher the weekend was! I did manage to get out in the sun for a bit but it always makes me sleepy so I didn't get any crafting done. My craft room was like a sauna! So today I am sharing a super cute pop up bunny card that was featured in Crafts Beautiful Magazine recently...

This shaped card is called a Bridge Card and I took some inspiration from the fab Jennifer Mcguire and altered the measurements slightly. I used Avery Elle Wheelie Great Stamp Set - love that bunny! I colured her with Copics and cut her out. The flowers I had ready coloured and die cut from my stash but I think some are from a Hello Bluebird Fairy Garden Stamp Set and Lawn Fawn Dandy Day Stamp Set. I used Lawn Fawn Simple Road Border Dies along with Stitched Hillside Borders. I used Distress Oxide Inks in Twisted Citron with a dash of Mowed Lawn. Birthday Bear Friends

It's a dark and gloomy day here today, it's strange having the lights on in my craft room after having gorgeous sunshine for so long! Today I am sharing a card that I made for my husband's birthday which was on Tuesday. I had so much the few days before so I had to make it a quick one!
I used Avery Elle Beary Good Friends Stamp set for the images. I coloured them with copics and cut them out. I recently got some Liquid Watercolours by Pinkfresh Studio to try out and I created a quick wash background on this card using them. I need to play a bit more with them but so far I love them, they create a lovely smooth brush stroke effect. I used a MFT Wonky Stitched Rectangle to die cut the background panel. I added a pre printed sentiment sticker and added a enamel dot. To finish I added some clear raindrops.
