Floral Chalkboard

Hi all :)
Today I am here to share with you another card I've made! It's nice to use some different shape cards every now and again so I did have some fun creating this one...
This was made using the Craftwork Cards Floral Chalkboard Collection. I used the papers to cover the flower card blank and added some faux stitching around the edges. I mounted the topper onto a scallop circle. The flowers and bow were made using the die cuts in the kit. I added some card card to finish. I really love the colour pallet they used in this collection I think it's lovely. If you haven't already heart Craftwork Cards are going to be returning which is fab news!

I will be back soon :)

Embroidery Wishes

 Hi all :)
I am back today with my third and final card from my Embroidery Flowers project. Originally this card had been made for Making Cards Magazine but then unfortunately Craftwork Cards went under so it never made it to the magazine. But... here it is...
For this card I used the Julie Loves Embroidery Collection. I used the papers, toppers, sentiments and also flowers to create this card. I also added a doily, lace and colored card.

I will be back with more designs soon.

Birthday Wishes

Hi all :)
Today I am back with another card! This simple card was made using the lovely Julie's Embroidery Kit by Craftwork Cards. I love her designs and hope she comes back with another brand soon!
Pretty much everything on this card was from the Julie Loves Embroidery Kit. I distressed the edges of all the papers using a distress edge tool and mounted them onto kraft card. I created a flower with the die cuts that came in the kit. I also added some lace and card candi to finish.

I will be back soon.

Embroidery Birthday

Hello :)
Sorry I haven't been able to update my blog for a little while. My feet have barely touched the floor, I have been so busy at work. I thought I would share a Craftwork Cards project that I had originally made for Making Cards Magazine but unfortunately as CWC have announced they have ceased trading they won't be able to go into the magazine. So anyway here is card one...
For this card I used the lovely Julie Loves Embroidery Kit. You may still be able to get this from one of their stockists if you are quick! It's a beautiful kit and I decoupaged the flowers to make them pop. I also added some lace, ribbon and twine. I mounted everything onto brown card and used some circular dies for the shape.
I will be back soon I hope :)

Sending Love

Hi all :)
Today I am back with a card I made some time ago! It was made for Crafts Beautiful Magazine, I actually made this card in pink previously but here is the mustard version!
This was made using a Craftwork Cards Kit. I am beyond devastated that they are closing, I've always loved Craftwork Cards and loved all their kits. This is one of the Julie Loves Kits so fingers crossed she will find a way to still design cos I love julie! Everything I used was in the kit i just mounted things onto foam pads for added dimension. I also added some pale distress ink onto the frame and ta-da!

I will be back soon, possibly not tomorrow as it's my birthday yay!

For You

Hi all :)
So after a busy week i'm ending the week with a rather late post! I am sharing a card that was in last months Paper Crafter Magazine using the digi alphabet that was a free download in the magazine...
I printed out the alphabet, coloured it with my copics and fussy cut it out. It was a little fiddly but was worth it for a free alphabet set! I used some gorgeous papers and die cuts from a Craftwork Cards Collection, think this one was Heritage Rose. I also added some gems to finish off - simples!

I will be back soon :)

Hi all :)
Today I am back to share with you a card that I made for my mum. It was her birthday and we took her out for lunch when we were on holiday as she lives that way. She loved this card...

Easter Wishes

Happy Easter!
I hope you are all enjoying the lovely Easter weekend break. The sun is out, although it's still a little chilly and our roast is cooking away in the oven! So today I am sharing an Easter card that I made for my good friend Anni. I think this is my first ever Easter card I've made that hasn't been for magazine or design team work....
As soon as I saw this kit I knew I had to have it. I love all the stunning realistic details of the wild flowers and wildlife. This is kit is the Meadow Kit by Craftwork Cards. Everything on this card is from the kit. I used the papers, card candi, sentiment and matching card.

From My Home To Yours

Hi all :)
So I still have a few more to share of my Christmas makes - shall we say they are early ones now? This one is my final from my trio of cards that were made using the Christmas Cheer Collection by Craftwork Cards....
I really love the die cut windows that came in this kit - they are a bit different and I think they turned out rather well. All the papers, flowers and toppers are from the Christmas Cheer Kit. I mounted all the papers onto kraft card and added some glitter around the pages. I also added some ribbon and a bow to finish.
