Gorjuss Bee

Hi all,

My local Range has just had a delivery of all the new Docrafts products so of course I had to treat myself to the new Gorjuss collection. It's always been a favourite of mine. It's my mum's birthday today so I made a card using this new range...

For this card I used the Die Cut & Paper Pack. It's full of die cut decoupage, toppers and coordinating papers. I always get this one as it's such good value. I mounted everything on black card and added some striped paper too. I added some gems and a sentiment and ta do all done.

Santa Cards

 Hello Crafters,

Today I have a double whammy, yes two cards to share with you. I have been loving making decoupage up in the evenings curled up in front of the TV. I find it so relaxing so I have two decoupage cards to share...

For both of these cards I used the newly released At Home With Santa Collection by Docrafts. I used the Ultimate Die Cut & Paper Pack, Decoupage Packs, Ribbons and Buttons. I added some lace, paper doily, coloured card and pearls to finish.

Beach Hut

Hello all :) 

Just thought I would pop on to quickly share my final card from my 'Shaped Card School' project that was in Quick Cards Magazine. So first up was my garden shed but I also used the same template to create Beach Hut! So here is my beach hut card..

It's always a challenge to create shaped cards from scratch but I managed it! The papers I used on this are by Papermania and have lots of wood effects, perfect for sheds and huts. The stamps are by Hunkydory and I also used some First Edition Dies for the sentiment. I also dusted some distress ink around the edges of my card to finish.

Merry Christmas

Only four more sleeps until it's Christmas Day!! It's my absolute favourite day of the year and I really can't wait! So today I am sharing a quick make made for Making Cards Magazine using the latest Docrafts Santa Collection....

For this card I used the Santa Die Cut & Paper Pack which has loads of toppers, decoupage, papers, borders and more. I mounted everything onto kraft card. I also added some ribbon and gold pearls.

Magical Christmas

Hello all :) 

Today I am sharing a traditional style quick card that was made for Making Cards Magazine.

 This card was made using the new Santa Collection by Docrafts. I used the Die Cut & Paper Pack for this card which contained the papers, topper and sentiment. I mounted them all onto kraft card. I also added some ribbon and gold pearls.

Neon Geo Part Two

Hello & welcome to Tuesday, I am scheduling this post as today is my day off - woopee! I haven't had one of those for some time and by day off I mean working from home as I actually have loads of magazine work to catch up on. So it's time for part two of my Geo Neon project from Quick Cards Magazine...

 

 Both of these cards were created using the Docrafts Capsule Geometric Neon range; 12x12 Paper Pack, Resin Stickers, Ribbons & Ribbon Bows. I used Die-namics Dies for the words and die cut them from gold mirri card.

Neon Geo Part One

Hello & welcome to another Monday. Another weekend zoomed by but I am just thankful it was sunny yesterday so we got to try out our new bbq & outdoor furniture set! I've gotta make this a quick post as I am super busy today at work. Here is my first two creations from my Geo Neon project was was recently in Quick Cards Made Easy...

My theme this time was Neon Colours, Geo Shapes & Gold Foil. I got to use the gorgeous Geometic Neon range by Docrafts which is rather nice and would also make beautiful scrapbook pages too. The ribbons & pearls are also from the same range and I die cut the words from foil using Die-namics Dies.

My Sweetheart

Morning all :)

It's time for my third and final card from my forever friends project in Making Cards Magazine.

This time I went silver and black with a tiny bit of gold - this one is very shimmery. I used the A4 Die Cut Paper Pack for the image, sentiment and papers then mounted them all on black card. I added a bow, black rhinestone cluster and some silver pearls to finish.

Fabulous Friend

Good Morning!

I am back today to share with you my second card from my Forever Friends project that was in Making Cards Magazine last month.

These are so much prettier in real life but it's tricky to capture the foiling on camera. It's very shimmery and pretty. I used the same products as before which are Forever Friends Classic Decadence A4 Die Cut & Paper Pack, Ribbon, Gold Pearls and a rhinestone cluster. I mounted everything onto black but gold mirri card would also look great too.

Forever Friends

 It's Monday again, where did that weekend go? I can't believe it is February already, I am so looking forward to Spring, I love the weather, fashion, flowers, colours and everything really! I can now share with you a new project that was featured in last months Making Cards Magazine.

I am so loving the on trend gold foil at the moment so I knew as soon as I saw this collection I had to get it!! I love Forever Friends, it's an old classic to me that I never tire of. This is the Classic Decadence from Docrafts. I used the A4 Die Cut & Paper Pack for the decoupage, papers and sentiment. I mounted everything onto black card. I also added some ribbon, adhesive gold pearls and a sparkly rhinestone.

Happy Christmas Santa

Happy Sunday, I hope you are all having a lovely relaxing weekend. I will try that but I am sure it won't work as it's my only day off before Christmas now so I will probably spend the rest of the day running around like a headless chicken! On another note here is my third and final card from my Santa project in Making Cards Magazine...

I've got to say I really enjoyed working with this collection. It was just so lovely to put together and I am loving the images and papers - well done Docrafts! For this card I used the Jolly Santa A4 Die Cut and Paper Pack. I also added some ribbon, lace, pearls, button and twine.

Christmas Wishes

Ooo it's the last Saturday before Christmas..today I am working in the shop and I am hoping it will be busy as we are starting our Christmas sale today. I am also meeting up with a friend for lunch that I haven't seen in ages. So here is my second Santa card from Making Cards Magazine...

Not quite sure why it's come out so blue so apologies for that. Everything on this card was made using the Jolly Santa Die Cup and Paper Pack by Docrafts. I also added some ribbon, lace, pearls, twine and a button to finish.

Wonderful Santa

Afternoon readers :)

 Well it's only 7 sleeps until Christmas, yay! I am almost prepared just got a few more bits to get wrapped ready. So exciting just love Christmas, I also can't wait to have a few days off to spend with my family. Talking of Christmas I have a few project to share with you...

Today's card is from a project that I made for Making Cards Magazine. I used one of this years new Docrafts collections called Jolly Santa. I used the A4 Die Cut & Paper Pack for the papers and decoupage topper. I mounted everything onto dark red card. I also added some ribbon, pearls, lace and a doily.

Gorjuss Fox

I am today as promised with another Gorjuss card from my feature in Docrafts Creativity Magazine. This one is quite a bright card for Gorjuss, I love her pink hair in this image - so cool!! 

For this card I used the Ultimate Die Cut Paper Pack for the papers, decoupage & letters. I also added some matching Gorjuss ribbon, bows and lace. I love when everything coordinates ;) All the products are available from www.docrafts.com

I have had a crazy busy day doing all my latest write up instructions for my magazine work - good job it's been a quite day in the shop today really! Today I am starting to share my latest Gorjuss project that was featured in Docrafts Creativity Magazine. Here is my first card...

For this card I used Gorjuss Papers & Decoupage from the Gorjuss Die Cut & Paper Pack - these are always an absolute must, they are always packed with everything I need, love them! The letter stickers are also from this pack - see told you it was awesome. I added some Gorjuss Ribbons & Ribbon Bows and finished it off with some pearls.

Simply The Best

Hello peeps, hope you are having a lovely weekend so far! Today I am sharing a sneak peek of the new and upcoming release from Docrafts. I was very lucky and got to play with the new Mr Mister range which is just perfect for Father's Day which isn't too far away now....

For this card I used the A4 Decoupage Pack & 6x6 Paper Pack both from the Mr Mister collection which will be available in stores/online from 1st May. I distressed the edges of the card using a bit of grey ink to give it a more dirty grunge look - we all know men's work is always dirty & messy after all!!

Happy Mother's Day to all you lovely mothers out there, hope you have all been thoroughly spoiled. Today I am sharing my other Little Meow card as I forgot to post it yesterday - oops sorry about that! This one was also featured in last months Making Cards Magazine...

For this card I used the Little Meow A4 Decoupage Pack by Docrafts. I mounted everything onto cream card. I also added some ribbon, natural mesh, flowers & gems. The banner die is by Memory Box and the corner is by Jus Cuts.

You Are Lovely

It's Friday finally...it's been one of those weeks for me when nothing seems to go right so here's hoping next week will be better and my craft mojo will return. For now I have a Little Meow card to share with you that was featured in last months issue of Making Cards Magazine.

For this card I used the Docrafts  Little Meow A4 Decoupage Pack which also had these cute matching papers too. I added some gingham ribbon (of course!) and lots of lovely flowers & pearls. I die cut the cute little banner from some pale yellow card using a Memory Box Die. I love this cute cat collection, it's so sweet.

I have been creating more cards using the new Little Meow Collection, it's just so cute and so easy to put together how can you not create lots with it? Good job I got the Ultimate Kit so I have loads more to play with!

For this card I used the Little Meow Decoupage, Sentiment, Border & Papers all from the Ultimate Die Cut & Paper Pack. I mounted all the papers onto mint cardstock from Stampin Up. I also added a doily, pearls, ribbon & button.

Little Meow Sweet Birthday

Well the start of the new year is here! I really hope 2015 is as good as 2014 has been, although it's had it's downs and difficult times most of it has been great for me and my family for once! So on with the crafting, here is a card I made using the brand new collection from Docrafts, Little Meow...

How cute are these little kitties? Obviously being called Kitty myself I am quite partial to cute cats! I so badly want a silver tabby too one that looks like this will be perfect. For this card I used the Little Meow Ultimate Die Cut & Paper Pack for the papers, border & decoupage. I also added a heart doily, ribbon & self adhesive gems. I have been feeling quite poorly the last few days so decoupage has been a god send as I can be comfy on the sofa and make loads in an evening.
