Make Me Smile

Gosh don't the weeks fly by at the moment! It seems like only the other day we had new releases but yes it's come around again, time for more new releases at Little Miss Muffet yay! Barbara has created a whole host of fabby new images, here is my card featuring a new fairy...

This is Alvina, isn't she gorgeous?! I just love all her freckles and pointy ears so cute. I coloured her with my Copics and the papers are My Mind's Eye Lucky In Love. The sentiment is by Inkadinkadoo they do some fab ones in the Kid Quotes range and this is just one of them. I also added some twine, a button, rhinestones & a pink bow to finish.

Be Mine

Today i not only have a card to share with you but i also have some very exciting new!! I am now a Guest Designer for By Lori Boyd Designs!!!!! How fantastic is that... i just love her images so i  know i am going to have a ball playing with her gorgeously cute designs! 

Here is my first card i made....

This is one of the cute Puddle Jumpers called Be Mine, i just love this image! So i coloured them both up with my Copics of course, cut them out and popped them in 3d foam to make them stand out a bit. The papers i used are by Doodlebug and the sentiment is from Lili Of The Valley. The twine is also by doodlebug and coordinates with the papers beautifully.

Purrrfect Day

I hope you are all enjoying the Paper Smooches themed week this week, if you haven't seen the start of the creations this week then head over to the My Mum's Craft Shop Blog. We have quite a few different Paper Smooches Stamp Sets in stock at the moment so it was pretty hard to choose which one to use..but i thought i would go for Nine Lives...

Paper Smooches Stamps are perfect for clean and simple cards as the designs are so cute they often don't need to much else. I kept the layout of this card pretty simple as i just the image and wanted it to stand out. The stamps are Nine Lives and the papers are Echo Park Love Story. I created the bow with Dienamics Dainty Bows (back in stock soon).

An Inky Tag

Today i have an inky tag that i made for Dreamees. 

As you know i am totally loving there fabulous Silhouette style stamps.....

 

So i started out with a manilla tag and sprayed the background with Dylusions. I then used various stencils to create some texture on the background. All the stamps on here are from Silhouette Butterfly & Silhouette Flower Border. The metal embellishment & ticket is by Tim Holtz.

There you have it, a quick simple and easy tag :)

Handmade With Love

Today i have a fun & fast project i made for Studio 12 at Polka Doodles. This is actually a valentines bookmark i made although it could actually be for any occasion really.

I designed the whole project on Craft Artist using various elements from Picknix Volume 1. As it is a bookmark it needed to be pretty flat as i am one of those people who hates bent pages in books, i like them all flat nice and new! So all i did was print it out as it was then layer it onto another paper. I then added some pink twine to give it a more homemade rustic feel to it.

Mustache Birthday

I am soo excited as i finally got my Mustache Stamp & Dies that i have been after, yippee! These were on my santa wish list for Christmas but as santa forgot to get them i treated myself instead - either way i just needed them and asap, you know how it is with craft stuff!

So here is my first mustache card, hehe....

So these fabbylosibus stamps and dies are by The Cat's Pajamas. We haven't got them in stock at MMCS just yet but we will have very soon so if you would like a set please email the shop! The papers i used are Echo Park Times & Seasons, perfect colours and it has mustache paper, brillo pads! I just added some twine, button and some black gems to finish oh and those are Dienamics Fishtail Flag STAX, which we will have back in stock soon :)

Rosey News

It's Friday so that must mean time for another new challenge over at Polkadoodles!!!

This week our theme is Monochromatic, it doesn't have to be just black and white it can just be mainly one colour, so of course i had to choose PINK....

All the elements on this card are from the latest cd Cherry Blossom Lane, i love how you can make everything coordinate perfectly together! All i simply added was a bit of twine, a button and some pearls. I also glittered the roses to make them a bit sparkly!
