Swingtime Lulu

Another gloomy wet day - typical as it's my day off but means staying in and crafting so not all bad!

Today i have a nice summery card to share with you. It features one of the new Kraftin Kimmie Stamps from the Springtime Lulu Set. I do love Lulu i think she is very cute and i have quite a few of these now, so here she is on the swing!

I thought i had better break open my new Echo Park Hello Summer as it's been sat on my desk for a few days and omg i love it and can see why it's so popular! I might need to get two of these as i love it so much - you know just incase i run out of it lol.

I also used my Magnolia Swirl Die, Dienamics Butterflies and Nesties for the ovals. I coloured her with Copics and added touches of Stickles to her dress to make her sparkle!

Birthday Ava

If you haven't already heard over at MMCS we have just taken another delivery of Stamping Bella Uptown Girls and this included the latest fabulous releases - oh so gorgeous as always!
Today i have a cute card to show you using Ava Loves To Celebrate.
These stamps are quite big so they fit perfectly on 6x6 cards and are a joy to colour.
I stamped her onto Neenah Cardstock then coloured her with my Copics - E11, E00, R81, R83, BG000 BG0000, B00, RV000, YG03, C0 & C00.
The papers i used are WRMK Love Struck. The flourish is my fav Magnolia Swirl. I also added a Circle Sentiment & some Card Candi. The heart pearls & ribbon are from my stash!

Something Colourful...

As you know i recently went to Ally Pally to got loads of new goodies.. i also have been a bit naughty and got a few more since - in my defense i have been clearing out my craft stash and selling along the way so it's ok, honest :) Just before we closed the shop today my girlies wanted to see what my new inks sprays were all about and luckily a lovely customer who came in also wanted to see too so i set everything out and did a lil demo and within a few minutes i came up with this.....
I can't believe how quickly this came together and i so now love creating backgrounds with lots and lots of layers, it really is sooooooo much fun!
So for this beauty i used Dylusions Spray Inks & Stencils, Crafters Workshop Swirl Stencil, Studio 490 Stamps & the sentiment is from a U Mount Stamp Set.
The great news is that ALL these fabby products are on order and due to arrive at MMCS very soon and omg i can't wait to show you more ideas & samples!

I am now off to chill out & watch BGT whilst making up some samples of Decopatch for my demo next weekend, yay - love decopatch!!

In The Garden..,

Over at MMCS we have just taken delivery of the new CC Designs and omg they are so cute!
I luckily got to play with one of the new stamps from the Laugh Lines Collection called Garden.
So here is a nice quick and simple yet bright & colourful sample...

Along with the new stamps come fabby new Cutters Dies. I have the new Flower Border & Grass Border Dies on this card...love the flower one, you can do so much with it! I coloured my lovely gardening girl with my copics and used lots of bright funky papers from the latest Fancy Pants Summer Soul paper pad! I made the lil bunting flags from washi tape and a bit of wire as i couldn't find any twine, god knows where it is!! I also added some jewels & a lil sentiment.

Inky Stuff

Sorry i didn't blog yesterday, i had planned to but by the time i went to take a piccy of my card the battery died - typical esp as i didn't have my charger at work, but never mind!!

I have spent the last few days experimenting with inks, sprays and messy stuff and have to say i am soooo loving it and want more - now!! I have two things to show you up first is a lil card that i might turn into a tag...
This was a bit of a experiment as i had not really done anything in this style much before. This is the first thing i have made with my fabby new PanPastels. You may have heard about them but if not they are a new medium to hit the craft industry... they are great for creating backgrounds and you can add colour anywhere to your products. Tehy are very similar to distress inks and can be used to create the same style look. They are so creamy and sooooo easy to use and you are hardly need any to create a lot of colour! I infact only used one colour here and managed to make it blend rather than using several colours if i was using inks! I will def have to get more of these! The stamps are my new Studio 490 set, pretty pricey at around £23 but i LOOOVE them and they stamp perfectly everytime too.

My next card is one i made last night...
I am really pleased how this turned out as it was literally a plain white piece of card to start with!
I created the background with some Ink Sprays and left to dry as i left my heatgun in the shop! I then added lots of bits and pieces from stencils, stamps etc. The flowers are Steampunk Flowers from Creative Expressions, we will be expecting these in the shop soon!

Going Places

Two posts in one day eh? Shocking!!!

You may have seen the latest Kraftin Kimmies KlubKit called Going Places! I had to have it as i just love the fab three images in this set, they are fabulous. Great news too, we will have them available in the UK at My Mums Craft Shop next month in May! So here is a bit of a sneak peak of a card i made over the weekend at our punches demo - i had real limited supplies so this was a bit of a challenge for me, but i like how it turned out :)
So i used the Bike Image & Sentiment and i coloured her with my Copics.
I used the lovely Cosmo Cricket Baby Jane - stunning colour combos of yellow, red & turquiose.
I made the flowers using Tonic Studios Petites 1 Flower and added Clear Dew Drops.
The border was cut with Kraft Card using the Tonic Dotty Border Punch. To finish i added a dash of ribbon & couple of black drew drops!
