Botanica Birthday

Hello Lovely Readers :)

Today I have a card to share with you that I made for my mother in law's birthday which is today. I have been chokka block with work this week so this was a quick one i whipped up last night. I love the one of the new collections by Craftwork Cards called Botanica it's gorgeous and i knew just want i wanted to do...

I planned this card around one of the background papers. I distressed the edges then decoupaged the  leaves to make them more 3d. I also added glossy accents onto the flowers to make them shine. I also added lots of glitter to each of the other flowers & leaves and also around the sentiment - you can't tell in the picture sadly. The butterflies are cut out from one of the background papers and are glittered. I simply added some natural tape & mounted it onto kraft card.
