Fashion Girl

Hi all,
How lovely are these toppers? This was the last free Facebook Bonus Papers from Making Cards Magazine. I love the simple colours and sketchy style.
For this card I used the Travel Paper Collection. I mounted all the papers onto blue card. I die cut the topper using a Wonky Stitched Die-namics Die. I also added some ribbon, a pearl heart and flowers to finish.

I will be back soon :)

Thanks A Million

Hi all :)
I am back again! Getting the hang of this scheduling lark eh!? Today I have a very simple card to share with you that was featured in the last issue of Paper Crafter Magazine...
This one again was made using the free summer digi stamps that came free with the magazine. I coloured the basket with copic markers and fussy cut it out. I created the background using an Altenew Stencil and red ink. I added a strip of red paper to the bottom and added some twine. I added a stamped sentiment and gems to finish.

I will be back tomorrow :)

Forever Love

Hi all :)
Today I am sharing another colourful creation. This time this one was made for Make Cards Today Magazine.
This type of card is called Cascade and to be honest I hadn't made any this style before, but once I got my head round a template it was easy! They are so much fun to decorate too. I used the free papers that came with the magazine to create this card - this also includes all the toppers and tags which coordinate perfectly! All I added was some ribbon.

I will be back tomorrow :)

I'll Stand By You

Hi all :)
I hope you had a good weekend, I spent most of it working but it's ok as I'm off next weekend and going to London for the weekend yay! I am hoping to go to Ally Pally as I haven't been for years, so do say hello if you see me. Today I am sharing a card I made for Making Cards Magazine using the free monthly download, this time it was flamingos!
I really do love these papers, I think they may be my favourite yet! I lose the subtle watercolour painted style of the flamingos - so lovely! I mounted all the papers onto peach card. I die cut the topper using a stitched circle die and mounted it onto a paper doily. I added some ribbons and lace. The sentiment is from MFT Stamps and added some hearts to finish.

I will be back tomorrow :)

Hot Dog Birthday

Hi :)
I knew scheduling posts would be a good idea then at least I can't forget to update my blog! So today I am sharing a fun card that was made for Paper Crafter Magazine...
I was asked to create some cards using the free digi stamps that came with the magazine. These were all fun summer images, so I had great fun with them. I coloured the hotdog with my copic markers and fussy cut it out. I used various patterned papers for the backgrounds. I also added some ribbon, gems and a doily.

I will be back tomorrow :)

Grow Happiness

Hi all :)
I am back as promised with another colourful card. This one was one of my last summery projects for Crafts Beautiful before I started working on Christmas so I made it colourful!
For this card I used Waffle Flower Stamps called Grow Happiness. I coloured them with copics and fussy cut them out. I used a stencil to create the brick wall panel. I also used a grass edge die and stitched circles. I finished with some twine and pearls.
Thanks for popping over :)

I'm back...again!

Hello! I am back once again! I knew I hadn't updated my blog for a bit but I had no idea it had been this long - wow time flies. I have been very busy with work, magazine work, my coursework and of course the summer holidays. I have loads of night shifts this month at work so at least that will mean I can get my blog updated. Here is another one of my unicorn cards that was featured in PaperCrafter Magazine recently...
I have to say I do love creating these kind of backgrounds. I just love that no two are ever the same. I created the background by applying some distress ink onto acetate, spraying it with water and placing onto watercolour card. I repeat this process heat drying in between until i got the effect I wanted. I used a ton of MFT products on this card. The stamps are Magical Unicorns that are subtly coloured with Copic Markers and die cut with coordinating dies. I also used Die-namics Cloud Edges and Wonky Edge Rectangles.

I will be back soon (sooner than later this time!)
