Springtime Bunny

Hello crafty peeps. I have been loving the latest releases from The Greetery. My hubby treated me to some of the new bits and I couldn't wait to have a play! This one took ages to create, mostly due to my dithering abotu colours etc but I am pleased how it came out...

I used The Greetery Hourglass Frame Die to create my card shape. I blended a little Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Ink onto the back panel and added some ink splats. I blended Spun Sugar & a little Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide onto the outer frame piece. I used The Greetery Springtime Stamp Set & Dies for all the images and floral pieces. I used a ton of inks mostly from The Stamp Market, Catherine Pooler & Distress Oxides sorry I can't remember all the colours I used - there was a lot of faffing! I assembled everything onto the card with foam pads.

Supplies;
The Greetery Stamps - Springtime
The Greetery Dies - Springtime, Hourglass Frame
Distress Oxide Inks
The Stamp Market Inks

Thank you as always for checking out my creation today. I will be back again soon with another card.

Easter Blessings

Hello crafty peeps! Today I am sharing another of my Easter themed cards that were in Making Cards Magazine. Gotta love those cute bunnies...

For this card I used Mama Elephant Eggstastic and Stems & Springs Stamp Sets. I coloured in each of the images with Copics and cut them out. I created a sky background using my MFT Cloud Stencil and a little Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink. I blended Twisted Citron and a little Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Inks and die cut them using a MFT Grass Die. I used the fence from the Mama Elephant Slimline Fancy Fence Die Set and cut it in white. I used my old MFT Stitched Rectangle Frame die and cut it from lilac card. I attached patterned paper onto a card and wrapped twine around it several times. I added a stamped sentiment using my Clearly Besotted Saying Stuff Stamps and added it to the panel.

You're Rawsome

Hey crafty friends. Today I thought I would share one of my cards from my Distress Splash Background Project that was in PaperCrafter Magazine. I got to play with these super cute Dinosaurs from Lawn Fawn...

For this card I used Lawn Fawn Rawsome Stamp Set. I coloured them with Copic Markers and cut them out using the coordinating dies. I created a watercolour effect background by adding ink to some acetate, spritzing it with water and placing it directly onto card, squishing it with fingers! I do love this technique as no two backgrounds are ever the same. I used Mermaid Lagoon, Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Inks for this one. I also added some paint splatters to the background. I added a stamped sentiment and added the images with foam pads. I finished by added a few gems.

Supplies;
Lawn Fawn Stamps - Rawsome
Lawn Fawn Dies - Rawsome
Distress Oxide Inks - Mermaid Lagoon, Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn
Copic Pens
Clear Gems

Thank you ever so much for checking out my creation for today. I will have more for you soon!

I used my MFT English Brick Wall Stencil with some Pumice Stone Distress Ink to create the background panel. I then added patterned paper and a white border strip to complete the background. I used my MFT Stitched Rectangle Frame Dies to create the lilac frame and placed it over the back panel. I fixed this onto a card blank i'd covered with patterned paper. Egg-stra Special Day

Hello crafty friends. I'm back to share another of my latest makes. This one is actually a card with a moveable it which I never make! So technically yes it's called a slider card, turns out they are quite easy to make. You can find full instructions in the latest issue of Crafts Beautiful Magazine...

 For this card I used Mama Elephant Eggtastic and Stems & Sprigs Stamps. I coloured in each of the stamped images with Copic Pens and cut them out. I created the simple background using some Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink and my MFT Cloud Stencil. I added a fence which was created with my SugarPea Designs Picket Fence Die. I blended Twisted Citron with a little bit of Mowed Lawn Distress Inks onto two panels.. I added one onto the main background then die cut the other piece with my MFT Spin & Slide Die. I added my bunny onto some foam pads, attached a penny behind him and fixed the panel onto the card. Ta-da, a slider card! I then added all the images with foam pads. I finished by adding a stamped sentiment and some gems.

Summer Penguins

Good morning. Sorry I haven't been able to add any cards for a while my laptop has been playing up the last few days so I couldn't get on it. I think I've fixed it for now, fingers crossed! Im still trying to use up some of my stamped images that I coloured a while back. I came up with this card, it's summery but hey ho hopefully it won't be too long before summer is here...

For this card I used MFT Penguins In Paradise Stamps. I coloured them with Copics and cut them out. I created the background shape using the MFT Watercolor Wash Stencil. I then used Tea Dye Distress Oxide Ink to create the sandy bit. I then used my MFT Waves Stencil with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink. Finally I blended a little Mermaid Lagoon Ink at the top to create the sky. I splattered the panel with some inks too. I added a strip of stripe paper at the bottom and added a mounted sentiment on top which is from the same stamp set. I finished by adding some Clear Bubble Embellishments.
